IOS 4.2.1 , yeah, I know it's old but it won't sink to my Windows 8

I have an old iPod touch that I got back in 2010. I just got a new Dell laptop that has Windows 8. I fixed my music up and everything, then when I plug the iPod in, it would say that it's syncing, but I left it in overnight and it still didn't sync. I don't know what to do or what the issue is. After all these years this iPod never caused me issues, until I got this new Windows 8 laptop...

When it conmpletes without syncing that indicates either y have the incorrect sync settings;
Do you have the right boxes checked to sync?
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
Try syncing using the manual method
Managing content manually on iPhone, iPad, and iPod
or something happened and the iPod thinks that this is not yor syncing coputer.
I would next try:
Backing up the iPod and then restore from backup. See:

A first generation iPod touch can't be updated past 3.1.3. If it's a newer model, update it from iTunes on a computer, and if possible, the one it normally syncs with.

PE4.0 (Yeah, I know, ew) Self-Minimizes and Then Won't Reopen

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 4.0, and I hate it and want it to die. But it's what I've got, so I need some help fixing it real quick if someone else has this problem. It open and working fine (as much as possible, at least) literally three hours ago. I closed it and restarted my computer for irrelevant reasons, and when I opened it again, it minimized and refused to reopen. I restarted again, and that's still all it does. It's not just the one project, and when it's minimized and I open task manager, it says "Not Responding."

Interesting. When something works one day (or time), but does not the next, then something has changed. The trick is finding out what has changed.
The very first thing that comes to my mind is the audio and video drivers. They will not have "changed," BUT if there has been an OS update, even a simple hot-fix, it is very likely that this has rendered the driver(s) obsolete. Most systems are set to update the OS automatically, so the user does not even know that it has happened. Re-booting will often invoke the update, effectively rendering the drivers a no-go. Now, that other programs work and display properly instills a false sense of security. An NLE program, like PrE interfaces more directly with both the audio and video drivers, than almost any other program.
First, I would go to the mfgr's. Web site, for both the audio card/chip and the video card, and get, and install the very latest drivers.
If that does not help, the tips in this ARTICLE might be useful for setting up an editing session.
If that does not help, then this ARTICLE might give tips on finding clues as to what is happening, when the program hangs.
If that does not help, then you might want to look into doing a new System Restore Point (for now), and then rolling back to an earlier Restore Point (I do this from Safe Mode), to get back to where things worked.
Also, do not feel bad about having PrE 4. That is still my version too, along with PrPro CS2 Production Studio.

I know it's old but CS4 Bridge will not open 5d Mark II files...oh man.

Okay, I know this horse is dead but I just cannot figure it out. Adobe says to drop the raw converter file in: Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/Plug-Ins/CS4/File Formats. The problem is, when I get to Adobe, there is no Plug-Ins folder. That's the step where I am stuck. I'd appreciate the help and feel free to contact me offline. Thanks.

I try to log onto my @mac.com account, as well as my AIM accounts, but it does not let me talk to anyone. It says i'm online, but i know that on other's buddy lists i am not. This is so frustrating because it happens all the time. The only way i have fixed it in the past is by making a new account, which i don't really want to do like every week. Can someone please help?

From the way you describe things I think at the iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts you are listing some AIM names with Running Men next to them and a Apple @mac.com one with a blue globe.
There has been at least one other thread where the poster said he could not get his @mac.com name On-line.
Until yesterday I had not had a problem but I can not get a response from my @Mac Name then.

I haven't searched for a manual for the Sansa...guess that would be helpful! I haven't had a pc for very long so I am learning as I go. Hopefully, you are asking how to use it with a Mac, not a "pc." And you do know that Apple does not make those, right...?
Are you asking how to put music on it? For most music players that are not iPods, I think you manually drag and drop music files onto the player, using your Mac. So I'd try connecting the Sansa to USB. Does it appear on the Mac's Desktop as a disk (or in a Finder window's sidebar)? If so, open it. There may be folders inside. If so, try dragging the and dropping the song files to the appropriately named folder, to copy them to the player.
Note: Depending on the player, it may only play MP3 files and not AAC files, which is the type used by iTunes Store.

I bought an all in one Brother MFC 640 CW All-in-one: Printer, Scanner, Fax, Card reader, etc., etc. from Office Max on clearance about a year ago now. It supports Mac OS 9.2.2
and comes with CD software install for 9.2.2.
I also have a Lexmark Printer/Scanner that is Mac OS 9.2.2 compatible and
the Printer deal that I got with my eMac, a few years ago, is a Epson Stylus C86 that is Mac OS 9.2.2 compatible too.
You should be able to find a compatible All-in-one printers to meet your needs online or at second hand shops or small computer shops.
Check with the printer's manufacturer website for compatiblity.

when I plug it in and its turned off the orange light comes on solid for about 3 seconds and then starts to blink 3 times and then turns off completely. Think the battery's shot but does anyone have a answer ?????

Is it possible to restore Gamecenter after update and restore?? After update, tried logging into Gamecenter and it says that the user name is already taken. Yeah, I know..... by me!!!

One of my kids ipods needed an update. It wouldn't let me do it via the itouch (like the other 2 itouches did). I had to connect to the PC, sync, update and then restore. Once I did, the apps could be downloaded again via icloud (which wasn't on the itouch before) but progress on games that were through Gamecenter did not transfer. Tried logging into Gamecenter and it states the user name is already taken. Yeah, I know it's already taken, BY MY DAUGHTER!!! Apparently she has a dragon game app that she manages through Gamecenter that she has worked her way to level 22 and now it is all gone. It wants her to restart from level 1. I know this isn't life or death and not like losing work data etc. But to a 9 year old who has spent $40 of her own money on gems, coins etc....... this is the end of the world. LOL. I do want to try to help her, I just don't know how.

Restore to factory settings. That will use the latest iOS and then restore from a backup.
Never, never, never attempt an update/upgrade on any portable computer device without plugging it into its AC charger.

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.
