IOS 5.0.1 broke one of my Apps
I'm trying to use an app called Podcast Box and it works fine on iPhone 4 and 4s running IOS 5.0
However, when I try to use it on my iPhone 4 with 5.0.1 to download podcasts (which is what this app is supposed to do) I get an error message telling me it can't reach the App Store because of a network problem. However, in every other way my iPhone 4 seems to be working fine, including downloading new apps from the app store.
I've tried rebooting the iPhone and also deleting and redownloading the Podcast Box app.
Any ideas for a fix?
According to Apple (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1937) all UK carriers sell their iPhones locked, even though they also all offer unlocking. So, as mentioned, contact your friend and ask them did they get it unlocked? If not, which carrier did they get it from so you can contact that carrier and request an unlock.

Had an app (Ultimate History Quiz) that I played frequently. It came up on the screen in the smaller iPhone version. Then I downloaded iOS 7.0.2, and now the app is so big that the printing goes off the screen, making it impossible to play. Wait for apple to tweak things....or talk to the app developer. they haven't updated since the update and unless APple happens to fix whatever the issue is, then the burden is on history to make their app work with the iOS

Help , I don't know how to update my iOS on the iPad one some apps won't work with the one I have and are suggesting that I update . Can someone help me figure this out.

One of my app icons appear on bottom left of lock screen
I have the 5C with with iOS 8.1.2 Randomly, one of my apps will appear in gray at the bottom left on my lock screen. If I swipe up (like you could with the camera) it will ask me to unlock the phone then will launch the app. Why is this happening? HOw do I remove it? It only happens with one app. If I restart it will go away for a little while, then randomly appears another time. It happens when I am not in the app at all and it is completely closed, and not running in the background. Strangest thing. Anyone know how to fix it??
It is my bank's app, which I will prefer not to name. My phone is verizon. not sure what you mean by jailbroken.

This sounds like a hardware problem and should be taken to Apple if the heating / "hiting" becomes disturbing to you. If you feel that your iPhone has a heating / "hiting" problem and needs to be repaired, please contact Apple Support and they can further assist you in having it inspected, repaired, or even replaced. IPad 3 with iOS 7: Any way to close/exit all apps with one action?
While there are some things that I like about iOS 7, there is one long term gripe that I have that's been made worse by iOS 7. I have an iPad 3, and usually close (exit) all the apps that I've used that day at the end of the day, then put the iPad on the charger for the night. I'm really tired of having to fling all the apps off the screen to close them...being able to do this with 2 or 3 apps at a time is really not helpful, either *smile*.
Is there any way that I can just close all the open apps with one gesture or action? This would be so nice, flinging apps off the screen is not an improvement for me over the previous method of tapping on X's, what would be an improvement would be to not have to do that to close all the open apps. Flinging isn't bad for one or two apps, but for 10 or 15, no, I can't say that it isn't really boring and annoying. Even Android has an option to "close all", good grief.
Thanks for any help with this.Most apps close automatically when you press the home button and move to the next app. Apps only need swipe closing if they are misbehaving or you purposefully left them open. The most notable exception being the music apps which because of their ability to play in the background always closing. In short if you're worried about saving time by swiping apps there's no need to swipe any.

After upgrade to iOS 6, one of my apps won't load. It seems to, then just ends. Is there an error log I can check?
so your starting it up and its just crashing right away, yes? can you tell me what app it acutally is? as iOS6 is so new my thought would be that its probably incompatable with it at this time, im having trouble with my networks app that just will not let me log in at all!
id suggest going to the page of the app on the app store and look to see if it says if its compatable or not? as for a error log its in usage data, which is in settings > general > about, and i think its near the bottom. -

I purchased a large app early 2012. It was updated late 2012 to support iOS 6 and iPhone 5. Unlike other apps that I've purchased which say "open" when I view them in the App Store, this one shews a full purchase price. I've deleted and downloaded this app before. If I delete it again will I be made to pay for it again? or will it download with everything anew? or will I lose the app?
If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. One of the other or you are speaking about a miracle. While miracles are possible they are not very likely. Remember

I have the iPhone 4S. Since I updated to the iOS 6 my phone keeps freezing and the apps crash all the time. Sometimes it freezes up to a minute. And there's no way of fixing that. Is apple going to fix this? I'm not the only one having this problem.
You cannot update iPhone 4 to IOS 8.1.2, the highest you can update is IOS 7.1.2.

First check to see if it's on the multitasking list and if so, force close it: double-tap the home button, locate the app in question, swipe up on the image above the app icon then tap the home button again.
