IOS 5.0.1 multiple dropdown issue

On both my iPad and iPhone 4 I'm having issues with when a web page has multiple linked drop downs. After I select a value for the first dropdown and select the second one the dropdown is connect switches back to the first one before a selection can be made. I was not having the issue before the update. It would also be nice to be able to restore without connecting to my Mac since I did not have to to apply the update.

Maybe all of you guys should download the user guide for the iPad but in the meantime ....
If you lose sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.

I have been having multiple iPhone issues after updating my phone to iOS 6.1 and restoring it my phone number is grayed out on Facetime and iMessage in Settings and sometimes when I go to the app store the old app store design loads that was in iOS 5 and the search and updates and buttons below get reaaranged
It looks like that in messages and Facetime
NOTICE THAT THE EMAILS AND NUMBER ARED EDITED!
Please help me fix this issue

have you tried turning off imessage in settings and then turning it back on again to re-activate? have you tried resetting the phone by holding the sleep/wake button and the home button until the phone restarts?

Double-tap on the Home button. You will see a preview of the app above the actual icon. Slide the preview up to kill it.

Multiple OS issues with Email set up; "People" ; Synching phone not working as advertised

So far I have spent 14 hours attempting to resolve what feel like endless errors and bugs. If I can;t get these resolved in the next 48 hours the phone goes back. I am so disappointed I waited especially for this phone - heard great stuff. My experience is it sucks. Worst phone ever.
1) POP3 email accounts are non functional. I have attempted to set up and delete and re-set up now multiple times. Each time presents a fresh new nightmare.
Issue 1 - Email account receives email but will not send. Error message goes something like <" Problem sending message. Message failed to send. Problem with Files or Data on your device." >
Issue 2 - Tapping email + accounts sends me back to start screen cannot even set up account
Issue 3 - I get to add email account I enter my information but no account is created
Issue 4 - I set up an account and I get an error message stating my information cannot be found.
Issue 5 - trying to open email from start screen just resets to start screen over and over and over NEVER opens the account.
These are deal breaker issues. I have multiple email accounts on different platforms. If I cannot access my various emails AND send from those accounts this is NOT the phone for me.
2) PEOPLE does not function. ALSO multiple various issues and never the same one twice.
Issue 1 - I tap on a contact and get sent to the start screen over and over and over and over again.
Issue 2 I tap on a contact and the phone freezes and wont respond unless I pull the battery
Issue 3 I open a contact and make an edit, save the contact but the change is never reflected in the list
Issue 4 I try and search for a contact and the search freezes - only option is to return to start screen
3) Scrolling thru any APP randomly takes me back to start screen.
I dread attempting to synch Outlook calendar and contacts on my PC to hotmail - especially if I can't even set up email. And it seems like even holding it will jettison me out of anything I'm doing and back to start screen.
If I can't get these issues resolved. look like I'll be going back to my 3 year old Blackberry Bold which performed flawlessly. It may not be the most impressive phone out there but it did what I needed it to do with out any issues.

Interesting Twitter conversation VZWSupport on Twitter. It was suggested to try a HARD reset - and if that doesn't work take the phone back.
Since I don;t have anything set up yet that's my solution.

No, it is not possible. When upgrading the iOS on the phone, the only one you can install is the latest version, which for the iPhone 4 is iOS 7.0.4.

How big is your library? I would recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
- Backup your library. Always a good idea before messing with things.
- Create a new library.   Refer to this article for details: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589. This won't delete your old library, you're just creating a new empty one. Also refer to this article to get back to your old library later.
- Add a few albums into this new library. Not everything, just a small sampling, as a test.
- Activate Match on this new library. You shouldn't have to re-pay, it should just say "Add Computer" or similar.
- At this point, Match should run again. With just a few albums it should complete in just a few minutes.
If iTunes doesn't crash at this point, then likely there's something about your original library that Match doesn't like - what that is I don't know, but at least you'll know it's not your PC.   If iTunes still crashes, then if could be a number of other things, but probably not your library.   My next suggestion (if you haven't already done this) is to uninstall / reinstall iTunes.   If that doesn't work, then my next ideas you won't like.

Linking Multiple Dropdown Lists

I have a form with multiple dropdown lists for a person's full name, room number, and phone numbers. There are 12 names; 2 rooms; and 8 phone numbers listed. More than one name can be tied to a certain phone number. All fields are required. I tried to use another script for the name and phone number (see below), but it did not work for me.
Attempted script:

the variable 'part" needs a value. Add the script:

to the exit event of dropDownlist2. Otherwise the variable "part" gives you a console error message of [object XFAObject]

Thank you so much! It's updating now. I'm hoping that once the update is finished that it will sync like normal as well. Of course I'm still a bit confused/concerned about how it refused to update on it's own, but for now that's not a problem. Hopefully from now on there won't be any more problems.

Multiple dropdowns

I read Forta's tute on multiple dropdowns using cf8. Cool. Works great. My question is... How do I make the second dropdown contain a blank row if there isn't a blank row in the dataset that is returned from the cfc?
Example
Dropdown 1: Pick a state (values = Michigan, Pennsylvania, Washington)
User pics Michigan
Dropdown 2: Displays all cities in Michigan without any blank values.
Without inserting blank rows into the db, how can I make the first row of Dropdown 2 a blank selection in case the user does not want to select a city...

That seems like a more elegant solution than what I came up with.
I ended up doing a UNION where the firs SELECT just returns an empty row.

I am having the same issues--just got off phone with customer service rep--was told that my phone is in recoveyr mode and that I would have to restore it, however, the only things that would be restored would be from my last backup which was in November 2013! I was also told that apple users should not update as soon as the update is available (so why are they sending it to us if they're not sure that there will be any problems!!!). I can't restore now since I am in work--will do it when I go home tonight. In the meantime, I am without a working iphone for the day! This is horrible--I see I'm not the only one who has experienced this!

Multiple Goods Issue documents for single delivery?

I am getting multiple goods issue documents for single delivery.
In a order there are 3 line items, and one delivery is created and 3 goods issue documents.
What is the probable reasons for this.
The requirement is for one order with n items there should be one delivery document and one goods issue document.
Inputs requested.

Since you havent put the issue in details, I have listed my guessses.
This may be happening due to mainly these three reasons. Please answer them and get back to me.
1) The three Good issue may be happeneing due to split delivery active for the item. If yes then correction should be in the Material master.
2) the availability check scheduled is set in that way. If yes please configure the availability and transfer of requirement.
3) Scheduling of the goods throught that particular shipping point. If yes then please conficgure the shipping tab in Logistic Execution.
Please let me know if the problem persists and award points if solved.

How to get the data from multiple dropdowns in the same report. Both the dropdowns are gerring data from the same table.
Ex:
abc-1st dropdown
pqr-2nd dropdown.
when abc and pqr are blank, it should display all records by default. If abc="some value" and pqr is empty then it should display all values corresponding to abc.
