I'm having the exact same problems. It's little iOS bugs. And the server is jammed with everything. Siri isn't even working right because of the server on the new iPhone's. Don't worry about it, you should be fine. Just wait for an update for bug fixes.

Correct. When you purchase devices, they would have stated the OS they needed to work, on the box. This can be overlooked, but it is very important to check when purchasing.
You current OS, is so old, that they technology build into the new devices, is not something your OS understands. It didn't exist when your OS was created, and therefore you need to upgrade the OS to work with the newer technology of these devices.

I have manually back up my iphone few days back, and my contact got missing the next day. i restored my back up from iTunes, however, my contact did not get restored. How do i check if the manual back up did actually back up my contact or not? How do i get back my old contact in my phone?
Your entire second paragraph is so confusing I am going to ignore it.
But I may be able to answer your first and third paragraphs, which seem to address the same question.
I wonder where your iPhone states it was backed up yesterday. I am going to assume that you see this under Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
If that is true, then the backup from yesterday is in iCloud. The one and only way to restore an iCloud backup is to do this on your iPhone:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
That will cause your iPhone to begin a setup process. As part of that process, assuming you enter the same Apple ID you used when you created the iCloud backup, you will be offered the opportunity to restore from it. -
So last night before i went to bed my iphone 4 was charging and it was at 6%.the next morning i woke up the phone said it had still been charging but was still at 6%. so i took it off and it died.now it wont come on.it keeps saying the charging sign. i tried rebooting and the charging sign just shows up. how can i fix it?
sounds like a hardware issue with the battery
1. you can try different chargers if you have any
2. while plugged in, Hold the Home+Power at the same time for about 20 secs, if the apple comes up then release both buttons

Well the term "hotlined" I have never heard before. In any case many states (like NY) just passed regulatory powers to the State Public Service Commission of which it may be called something different in your state. You could file a complaint with them. Or file a complaint with your state attorney generals office, they also take on wireless providers.
The problem here is the staff you speak to are poorly trained, in days gone by it took one call to them and they pulled up your account and see the error and had the authority to remove any errors. They did not remove legitimate account actions, but used their heads instead of putting a customer off or worse lying to the customer.
Its a shame you have to go through what you going through.

Hey I have created a login page in Dashcode for a mobile safari app (aka iphone web app) and I am having trouble since I can not find any useful info about multiple pages. I don't want to use a stack layout view because it is only a login page and I need to check with a database to make sure the user's login info is correct. Right now I have it set up so that it loads another iphone web app project once it validates the info.
The only problem with this is I am having a good bit of trouble trying to pass values from my php code to javascript or html. For some reason calling the javascript inside the php code makes the actual code inside the app not be called and same with the echo statment for the html.
So I would like to be able to create the app in this way:
Login page > PHP > MS SQL > PHP > UNKNOWN (if I can't get the javascript or html to output both) > Secure info on the next page
I believe It would be a lot easier if I had the option for a multiple page but instead I am having to load up an entirely new dashcode project. If anyone knows a better way please let me know. Or if anyone knows a link to good information on passing values from php to javascript, because I couldn't get any of the code I tried to work, I would really appreciate it.Addendum to previous reply:
OK. This is weird--but I should be used to that, and just grateful that it seems to work (for now).
What I had done is FTPd some image files to my site using Filezilla, but when I had tried to access them, I was unsuccessful. I am almost sure that I used the same url (and variations of it) as you suggested, namely, http://mysite.verizon.net/username/filename , and it either did not work, or gave me the "Page under construction", or, in some cases asked me for my username and password.
But, when I did it this time, it worked. So I probably had something off, but I can now do what I want.
By the way, if you'll permit another question, while on the site-builder site, it said that there was a "Web Photo Manager", and said that "To download the Web Photo Manager: Open the Site Builder application and go to the All My Sites page. Click on the Web Photo Manager link (listed under Advanced Building Tools )." I can't find it--would you happen to know where it is?

I upgraded to iOS 7 on my iPhone but have been loathe to do so on the iPad.

I actually like iOS 7 on my phone. In fact I'm right in the middle of updating the new version. My reservations about installing the new OS on the iPad were aesthetic ones. I wasn't sure I'd like the way it would look on the bigger screen. I have no real issues with ios 7. My diffidence is all a out the "look".

I have an iphone 4s. A while ago it started having issues with bluetooth. All of the sudden, an audio headset I am using quits working with my iphone bluetooth. I check and my iphone doesn't see any of my bluetooth devices. I have an apple keyboard, a headset, and a speaker. Nothing shows up on my iphone but they all connect perfectly to my ipad. Then a day or so later it works again. The are all suddenly there. I just installed iOS7 and I'm still having the same problem. What is UP? Anyone have a clue what is going on?
I have this problem too. I have an iPhone 4, and this wasn't a problem when I bought the phone back in December. I think it came a month or so later and I suspect with a standard upgrade of something like itunes, or iphone software... but I can't pinpoint it to any specific update as it took me a while to notice it. For me, it does this with my work calendar which is run through Microsoft Outlook. But it's the exact same thing - and it means my calendar isn't reliable anymore.
I've made sure the time-zone settings are correct, I've updated all software, and gone through all possible settings for both my i-phone and Outlook. Nothing fixes the problem, even our tech guy at work didn't know what to do. I know it's not just my phone as the exact same thing has happened with my boss's iPhone which is an iPhone 3G, and it frustrates him to no end.
I'm really hoping someone at apple can tell us what's going on, especially since it never used to do this and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix it. If someone thinks they know what itunes update this was due to, let me know - I'll see if I can go back to that older version. -

I have an Iphone 4s factory unlocked. I got At&t again and after updating to iOS 6.0 my iphone its not working propertly. I dont have the carriers option nor Im able to face time using cellular data. Any suggestions!?
Do you have an AT&T carrier file number showing? The only time you can use Facetime on AT&T cellular is if you are using one of their Shared Data plans. While they have not locked your phone, it appears their carrier file is in control of your device when you have the AT&T SIM card in there.

Since the update to iOS 6.1, my iPhone 5 has no longer the possibility to disable the 3G network but the LTE only.
Is eventually this feature in the next update foreseen?
This would surely highly appreciated to those users that 3G network coverate problems.
In addition Android and WP8 have this feature already.

Apple seems did not learned from the same mistake with 4S and iOS 5 in the past, where it was no longer possible to disable 3G.
With 3G battery simply get drain much faster.
So please APPLE give us back the option to enable/disable 3G
