IOs 5.1 Beta 2 , fix the battery problems or not ?
I am getting annoyed with these battery problems, since iOS 5.0.1 , even my iPad 2 battery isn't how it was.:[

I think ios 5.0.1 has fixed my battery problem on ipad 1
Was glad to see this morning when I woke up ios 5.0.1 was out.
I downloaded it straight away through the ipad it self..
Once done I then charged up my ipad to full 100% ..
Now I started using it from around 9am this morning and its 4.10 pm now.. and I'm still at 89% battery...I think i can safely say the problem has been fixed
I don't know if this is normal or not..but to drop down from 100% to 99% it took around 33 mins... but I did notice from 99% to 93% it was dropping like 1% every 7-8 mins.. anyways i left it around midday at 90% 4 hours has passed now and its down to 89%... so im really pleased with the fix. I hope it stays this way lol.

Been reading up for the iphone 4s also and it seems 5.0.1 hasn't done anything for the battery charge... was really hoping to purchase a 4s soon ..but if they still have the battery problem I guess I'll have to wait a little longer.In terms of the battery, if you are not already doing so you should go through at least one charge cycle per month i.e. charging to 100%, running it down so that powers off, and then charging back up to 100%, which should help keep the battery indicator accurate - it's recommended towards the bottom of this page http://www.apple.com/batteries/ipad.html

So you tried completely uninstalling all 5 itunes programs from control panel, removing all the files and reinstalling per this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923 ?
What error are you getting?
Will there be another update to iTunes...undoubtedly.
However, this is a user forum, no one here is a developer at Apple, so we have no idea when or what that update will entail. -
how can I fix the battery drain issue on my iPhone 5s? it started when an updated to iOS 8.2 and upgrading to iOS 8.3 still did not fix it.

Why didnt the new ios 5.0.1 fix my battery problem
I have a brand new iphone 4s that shipped with ios 5.0.1 and it still has the battery draining problems that showed up with ios 5.0
Under my settings i have location services turned of and the brightness level at 66%
What is the new problem that could be draining my battery i know it not something i am doing because i am keeping my battery well conditioned by making sure i unplug my phone right once it hits 100% charge and every 4 days i use my phone until it dies and then charge it fully. i have found that this works to keep the battery fresh and as like-new as possible. all tips, tricks, and answers welcome.Technically this 5.0.1 update was already stated that it did not work correctly and there should be another iOS update this month that might fix the battery. For now, I recomend keeping your phone on low brightness and turn off Email fetching (if you don't know what Email fetching is, then it's not on)

Has anybody figured out how to fix the battery consumption with mountain lion (using a MBP 13")?
I upgraded to Mountain Lion, and yes despite all of the warnings posted in the App Store reviews about the battery life being cut in half, I upgraded my MBP anyway. Chalk this one up to the Black Cloud of "I Told You SO!" My MBP could hold a charge for almost 6.5 hours. Now I'm luck if I can get 3, but in most cases I may get 2.5 hours if I'm conservative.
Has anyone figure out how to fix this battery problem? Even now after having it unplugged for almost 2 hours...I'm getting the "You are now running on reserve battery power" message. What a freaking joke!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!Open /Applications/Utilities/Activity Monitor. Click %CPU until the triangle points down beside it. Make sure it says All Processes in the upper right. Check for applications taking up lots of CPU time.

its not related to any hardware because last year april i got replacement new phone from apple and i maintained it well...!Probably apps running in the background are causing this, sometimes Mail get's stuck connecting to the mail server, or some social media app like Facebook can also be a reason for prolonged background activity.
Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
If this does not help, setting it up as new device would be the next step:

Does anybody know when new batches of the iphone 6 and 6 plus ,without the bending problem (bendgate), will be released ? I wanted to buy the iphone 6 but id rather wait till they fix the bending problem.

Anyone know when Apple will bring out a patch to fix the volume problem you get on mac mini after downloading OS 10.8.5?
Only Apple knows the answer to whether or not there is a verified problem and if so when will a fix be released. As is their custom, Apple does not talk about these things and the rules of these communities prohibit speculation about future udates or upgrades. It is probably safe to say if a fix is deemed necessary it will be called OS X 10.8.6.

Like what I mentioned, the iPod do not work, it won't play music and the battery light do not flash.
But it shows in iTunes, and I could sync music into it.
I tried to reset all the settings of the iPod, and installed all the new software, but it does not work.
I don't know if it works before, my friend left it to me. I erased all the data she used before and syncronized all my music inside.
But it just never worked in my hand...

There are separate contact points for power and data, so it is possible for the cable to connect for data, but not for power. Some third-party replacement cables may be of lower quality, if you do not have the original cable
However, it seems to be getting power, since the shuffle is operating when connected and you are able to sync when it is connected. So I think your USB docking cable is working.
That leaves a problem with the USB port or a problem on the shuffle.
For the USB port, it may not be supplying sufficient power to charge the battery. As a test, you should shut down (power off) the computer and disconnect all USB devices, including hub, except for standard keyboard and mouse (if normally used). If the Mac is a laptop, connect its power adapter (so that it's not running on battery power). Do this to reset the shuffle

Start up the Mac, run iTunes, and connect the shuffle to a direct USB port on the Mac. Any difference...?
If that does not help, it may be a problem with the shuffle, such as a worn out battery. -
I have upgrade my phone to iOS7 and my company recently upgraded to Exchange 2010. My emails are not synching to my inbox. I can only see my Sent items. I have already deleted the account 3 times but this did not fix the inbox problem.
You need to have a different Apple ID for each of the other devices.

Since updating my Iphone to ios 8, my hands free in the car (Radiosat) is not working correctly. The phone pairs ok with car, and my phone is recognised but then it cuts off the radio and says that I'm in a call, I can't cancel the call or do anything. I have taken my car to my local dealer but they say the Radiosat is working ok?

I was researching the issue you are having and recommend a couple of things. First it might be a good idea to reset the device following iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't quite get the device going again, I recommend restoring the device.

Might even be a good idea to turn off the phone, reseat the SIM card, and turn it back on.
