IOS 5 And IOS 5.0.1

What are the differences between ios 5 and ios 5.0.1 ?  Thanks

Hi,
I am the owner of Iphone 4S and it was working fine (5.0) until i upgrade to 5.0.1(9A406).
Now I am facing alot of network issues. I need to dial like 4 to 5 times then only my call gets connected althought it shows full network coverage.
I am using the phone in India .
Can you tell how I can degrade from 5.0.1 to 5.0 ???

  • TE tunnel issues between IOS and IOS-XR

    Hi Guys
I have a situation. The scenario (see the attached diagram) has to PE01 (IOS) connecting via a port-channel to P01 (IOS-XR), turn P01 connect to PE02 (IOS-XR). So we've configured a pseudowire between PE01 and PE02, this works fine! then we've configured a TE tunnel between PE01 and PE02, but when we chose the TE tunnel as preferred path for the PW, happens the following:
PC-A mac address appears on PE02 mac address table, however PC-B mac address doesn't appears on PE01 mac address table, so there is not connectivity between PC's at all.
It seems like the TE tunnel is causing some issue (thought TE tunnel status is okay at all), and the problem seems to be between PE01 and P01, when we take the TE tunnel from the PW preferred path, everything works fine! I'm not sure if this problem is caused by the port-channel too.
I've been looking for some software bugs in IOS 12.2(33)SRE6 and IOS-XR 4.3.1 but there is not such.
Anyone of you had this problem as well?
    Marcelo

    Hello.
Did you try ping inside vc between PE devices?
Could you provide relevant configuration from PE1,P,PE2 routers?
And the output you got during troubleshooting?

  • Is there a difference between ios and ios xe sintaxis?

    Hi
I´m looking for command referece to ios xe 3.7, but don´t find nothing, I want to know if there is a difference with show commands between ios and xr
    Can someone help me?

I believe all the command structure is identical, or at least mostly, since IOS-XE just pulled out the IOSd software component.

  • Not working multitopology ISIS with IOS and IOS-XR

    Hi everyone,
I've gon a problem setting up IPv6 routing with ISIS in the test network. There are four routers connected as shown on the image.
I've got problems setting up IPv6 routing in this topology. I tried single topology and multitopology ISIS. Neither of them works properly. Single topology simple does not come up when IPv6 is configured in ISIS. Multitopology yet comes up but uyields only working IPv4 roting. I can see that IPv6 ISIS RIB is buit by the routers, but it is not copied into the main routing table.
That's what I get in the multitopology mode:

I don't understand the following: Why R8 doesn't consider itself attached to Pseudonodes R8.01 and R8.03 in IPv6 topology? The same question about R9 and Pseudonodes R9.01 and R9.03 in IPv6 topology. R7 and R2 consider themselves as attached to Pseudonode R7.04, although R7.04 doesn't look much different from the rest of the Pseudonode LSPs in the database. This fact still doesn't allow them to calculate a correct RIB.
    Am I missing something?

    Hello,
Can you check on XR that you have option of enabling metric-style wide under ipv6 address-family.I'm not sure but i suppose you will also need to configure metric-style wide under ipv6 address-family as you are using multi-topology .IOS default run single topology and XR run default multi-topology.only need to be sure that you are running same topology and metric-style same on all router,in transition process like from multi to single or changing metric-style you can use "metric-style transition" option..
    Regards,
    Ashish

Thanks Andrew. The format is correct but only fills about half the screen. Big black borders on all 4 sides. On my ios 6 ipad it starts a video the same way but the i can do a reverse pinch and it will send the signal to the tv in full screen. Same format just bigger. It just doesn't work since i upgraded one ipad to ios7. Still works fine on the one i haven't upgraded.

  • IOS versus IOS XE

What are the major differences between IOS and IOS XE ?  Is this a big learning curve ?  The reason I'm asking is we are looking aT replacing EOL 3750G's and we aren't sure whether to go to 3750-X  or  go to 3850  (IOS XE) .   We don't really want to go thru another big learning curve like Nexus OS  was  .    It's not really a performance issue as the current 3750G have done the job more than adequately so we don't really need the big performance increase of the 3850's .  That being said I'm not sure what the EOL is for the 3750-X  and we don't want to have to do this again anytime in the near future .  I'm sure the 3850's would get me into my retirement date  :-)  .

In principle, IOS XE should differ little from the same level of IOS.  What can be more of a change shock, is differences due to features differences between IOS versions (for example, your 3750G might be running 12X while 3850s will likely run 15x) and hardware feature differences (3750G and 3750-X are much more alike than a 3750 and a 3850).
I suspect the 3750-X is getting close to an EoL announcement.  The longer term support prospects should be much better for the 3850 series.

  • Mail app freezes after first use on iPad 3 and ios 8.1.  How to solve?

Apple mail app freezes after first use after reset.  iPad 3 and IOS 8.1.  How do resolve?

    Hi, sixfinger.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Try forcing all applications to close and restart the device.  Once this is done test to see if the Mail app functions correctly.

Do you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
    A 1G can only go to 3.1.3
    A 3G only to 5.1.1

What version of iTunes is on the computer? The latest is 11
    iPod touch (3rd generation)
iPod touch (3rd generation) features a 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display and 32 GB or 64 GB flash drive. You can browse the web with Safari and watch YouTube videos with Wi-Fi. You can also search, preview, and buy songs from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on iPod touch.
The iPod touch (3rd generation) can be distinguished from iPod touch (2nd generation) by looking at the back of the device. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288, and iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318.

updated my iphone 3gs to the 5 ios and now my phone wont read my sim card when i reactivate it.
Every time i connect it to itunes all it says is "There is no SIM card installed in the iphone you are attempting to activate." Even thought there is a sim card connected in my phone.

Is the SIM from a supported carrier?
Is the device carrier locked, officially unlocked, or hacked to be unlocked?
Has the SIM been reseated?  If not, try that.
Also, basic troubleshooting is reset, restart, restore.  Has any of that been tried?

I updated to new ios and now it is not syncing properly.  New songs are not showing up on the ipod display but when I view the device on my computer, they are in the playlist but there is a dashed circle beside the missing songs.  It previously synced perfectly before the IOS update.  How can i revert back to the previous installed version?

Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

  • TS3280 How can i enable both paired bluetooth and ios keyboard input at the same time?

How can i enable both paired bluetooth and ios keyboard input at the same time?
This is needed for the app im working on. Need some user input via keypad as well as scanner input via a paired bluetooth scanner.

You probably should not be using a keyboard bluetooth profile for a scanner, I am not a developer for apple so do not know the location for you to find out the correct profile you should be using for an input device that is not a keyboard. Sorry,
I am sure if you navigate the apple developer site you will probaly finmd what you're looking for.

  • Docs in Cloud Not syncing between OS (10.8.2) and iOS (6)

I am running all of the most recent software available for both OS and iOS (including the iWork software on each). For about a week not, my docs have not been syncing. I will open something on my iPad/iPhone, take notes for a couple hours in class. Then, when I go to add notes on my Mac next week, last weeks notes are not there.
    What I have done:
Connected iPad and iPhone to power and wifi numerous nighst since the first note-taking.
Had my Mac connected to power and wifi numerous times since the first note-taking.
    Restarted all devices.
Any other tips? I need this stuff to sync if I am going to have all of my notes in one place before finals—the timing of my issues with iCloud make me wonder if the cosmos (or Apple) has a sense of humor.
    Thanks in Advance!

I am not sure this is a Pages question but an iCloud question. You could ask in the iCloud forum about the syncing problems
