IOS 5 do not support A2DP?

After updating to IOS 5 it does not work bluetooth headset. IOS 5 do not support A2DP?

I have an iPhone 4. I connect it to a car audio system (JVC) which has A2DP support. This morning, I tried to play music from the spotify client to the car audio, but the music kept playing on the iPhone instead. I tried looking for the AirPlay button but it was nowhere to be found, even though the system was connected to a A2DP-capable system. I went to Music, and to other apps, and none of those showed the AirPlay button even though the Bluetooth icon was on (connected).
Yesterday I was able to play music through the car audio bluetooth system, so there is definitely something wrong going on with iOS5. I will try deleting the pairing and re-pairing, and see if that fixes the issue, but I think there's something else going on.

  • Does iOS 7 not support playback of .amr files anymore?

I used to be able to playback .amr files a friend would text me with iOS 6. Is this file extention not supported for playback with the new operating system?

I actually found a link to download the missing components that you listed. i installed the package and it now shows under hard drive / library / quicktime but the HD files will still not play in Quicktime.
could this be because i do not have FCP?
I do not need to edit with the clips - merely to be able to playback to review.

  • Why does the turn by turn navigation in iOS 6 not support bluetooth?

In iOS 6 the turn by turn navigation is great, except it evidently doesn't support bluetooth headsets.  I'm using a plantronics.  The turn by turn is only produced through the speakers or headphones (when pluged in).
    Did I miss a setting?

What is the Other on my iPhone and How to Remove It
An "other" that large usually indicates that the "other" includes corrupted files.
    First try:
"First you go settings/general/usage/music/then left swipe over music and press delete and you would think it deletes your music but it doesn't instead it deletes your other but make sure your ipod is connected to a computer while doing this"
    as recommended by:
How do I get rid of "other" storage: Apple Support Communities
Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

  • Why is iOS 6 not supported on iPad 1

The original iPad is only 2 years old and, if what I've read is correct, iOS 6 won't work on it.  That's ridiculous! All the stuff that's supposed to sync and work across platforms now won't.  Plus, no security updates for a device that still works extraordinarily well. I used to be an avid Apple custormer, but of late, the customer is being raked over the coals.  My three-year old macbook can't upgrade to Mountain Lion.  Mountain Lion no longer lets you play imbedded midi files in web sites. It just goes on and on.  Now my iPad, for which I paid the equivalent of a laptop purchase, has just been obsoleted.
Get real Apple.  What's up with this?

Personally, I think the 256kb of RAM cannot handle IOS 6

  • Why does Apple not support the rSAP - Remote SIM Access Profile - for connection to car handsfree via Bluetooth

    Hello community,
I just ordered a new car and it comes with a bluetooth based handsfree installation based on rSAP (remote SIM access profile). I learned that rSAP is the ideal thing to eliminate the unwanted radiofrequency radiation (RFR) inside the car. Now while googleing I also learned that iPhone on iOS does not support rSAP.
I would like to point to the following page which shows some more detailed information on the rSAP topic:
    http://paulroberts69.wordpress.com/2011/02/28/android-2-2-and-rsap-compatibility /
I find rSAP a very usefuly thing, if it really brings the GSM radiation level down inside the car and allows the full use of all GSM functions by the rSAP premium handsfree kit built into the car. I absolutely do not understand why it is not already available with iOS.
From several web sources I understand that rSAP is available for jailbroken iPhones. That means, the chips inside the iPhone would support a rSAP service. Therefore my question: will it become available with iOS 6?
Or do all the folks at Apple drive old cars/brands and don't even think of the rSAP feature? Can we somehow start to get a hearing by the Apple developers? According to my knowledge, rSAP is implemented with all premium handsfree factory units of the VW brands - Audi, VW, Skoda ... This should make a relevant user base!
Any others with same wish and/or experiences? Comment here please!
    Regards,
    Olaf

    Hi Meg,
    could be several things:
    1. they forgot?
    2. none of their team members drives any VW branded car?
    3. nobody cares about the radiation inside the car?
    4. all have plugin holders for the iPhone?
I am just surprised that rSAP is offered by a premium car maker, but Apple seems ignorant about its support.
I am mostly concerned about the radiation when I use regular hands free. But I do understand that rSAP also has some limitations (only access to SIM contacts and other things, Wikipedia DE has a good full report, Wikipedia EN is much shorter).
    Regards,
    Olaf

  • JBL docking station "This accessory is not supported by iPod Touch"

I've had a JBL docking station that was working just fine with my iPod touch for several years and now I'm getting an error that the accessory is not supported.  Does anyone have any idea what I have to revert back to so that I can use my docking station?

DId it happens after updation to iOS 5?  You can try the standard fixes:
    - Reset. Nothing will be lost.
Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory defaults/new iPod
However, it could be that the dock is not compatible with iOS 5.  You will have to wait until either Apple or JBL issues a firmware update.
Downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud does not support Bootcamp by Apple IOS operating system, but does work with boot camp Win 8.1 why"

Adobe Creative Cloud does not support APPLE latest IOS operating system, but does allow Windows 8.1 to be accepted. This seems a shame to me, as
Apple IOS is the leader in graphics, photography. The advertising states it is usable under both APPLE IOS and Microsoft 8.1 windows operating systems. Adobe Support Chat Sooraj tells me on 02/19/2015 that i must buy two computers to have it operate on both operating systems. Adobe will not support apple's Boot CAMP allowing both operating systems.
i love the apple product and love the ADOBE Photoshop CC, but it simply does now work with an apple keyboard and a WiN operating system. .[email protected]  Adobe Creative Cloud

In Thehatters defence, this was initially posted in the MacbookPro forum and then moved to Boot Camp,

  • I have just purchased a lightning to 30 pin adaptor to use on an iPad mini and a gen5 iPod touch both devices are running iOS 8.1.3 and come up with The error message "this accessory is not supported by this device "

I have just purchased a lightning to 30 pin adaptor to use on an iPad mini and a gen5 iPod touch both devices are running iOS 8.1.3 and come up with The error message "this accessory is not supported by this device "
THis is means they are not charging on a 30 pin cable and the touch won't work in my Apple iPod dock - no audio out or charge. Have re powered both devices to no avail am wondering if the iOS version is the problem
    Help!

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.
This is lightning to 30 pin adapter: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Apple%26%23174%3B---Lightning-to-30-Pin-Adapter/6651 936.p?id=1218803450821&skuId=6651936#tab=overview
    Is this what you bought?
You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

  • After iOS 8 update: "This accessory is not supported by this iPad" using Digital AV Adapter on iPad 2

After the update to iOS 8 on an iPad 2 I receive the error: "This accessory is not supported by this iPad" using a digital AV adapter. It works for about 20 seconds before I get the error. Same adapter worked with iOS 7.1, same adapter still works on my iPhone 4s with iOS 7.1.
Curious if anyone else has this issue. The adapter is not a genuine Apple adapter, so I think I'll just buy an official Apple adapter, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has upgraded to iOS 8 and can still use their digital AV adapter on iOS 8 with iPad 2, and what brand of adapter you have. Thanks!

Still not working. My adapter shows as an apple A1422. I can successfully plug it in to an iPad 2 with an older IOS but mine which is on 8.1.2, gives the error "This accessory is not supported by this iPad." I tried turning off the iPad and connecting it to the tv before turning it on. When it is turned on, it displays on the tv for a moment, then the message pops up and no picture is on the tv any longer. Clicking ok does not change the lack of a picture On the tv, but I can use the iPad as normal.
I've tried the adapter on a different iPad 2 that is not on IOS 8 and no message appears.
    Help, please!

  • HT1386 I have IPod touch running iOS 5.1.1 and Windows 7 with iTunes 11.0.4.4. When I connect the IPod to my PC, iTunes recognizes it but before synching can get very far, it is interrupted by "charging not supported on this acc." Now what to do?

I'm having trouble with the wi-fi synch for iTunes and would be happy if I could just synch by the USB cable. With the new iOS, the connection to iTunes seems to get broken every time the dreaded "charging not supported with this accessory" appears, which is only a few seconds into the synch. Since my PC is obviously not an Apple brand charger, IPod won't stop producing this message. Using the Dismiss button doesn't resolve the issue because synch has already stopped. It looks like the hardwire to PC option is now dead.

    - See:
    iPod touch: Hardware troubleshooting
    - Try another cable. Some 5G iPods were shipped with Lightning cable that were either initially defective or failed after short use.
    - Try another charging source
    - Inspect the dock connector on the iPod for bent or missing contacts, foreign material, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
    - Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

  • Digital AV Adapter: "Accessory not supported" and "TV Out" settings gone after upgrading iPad 2 to iOS 5.0.1

I've used the digital AV Adapter (bought in Apple Store) nicely on iPad 2 with iOS 4.3.x.
After upgrading to iOS 5.0.1 the TV Out settings have disappeared from the General Settings menu (no matter if adapter is plugged in or not).
I thought that maybe it was time to do a full reset (just in case), so I did that, while the adapter was still plugged in.
When the iPad finished resetting I got a popup message on the lock screen saying:
"This Accessory is Not Supported by iPad"
The adapter sort of works, i.e. there is a picture on my TV, but I cannot control the TV output settings which I could in iOS 4.3.x.
The TV Out settings are completely missing from the General Settings menu (if they were moved in iOS 5.0.1 somewhere else, I could not find them).
The "TV Out" menu item is not there at all.
I cannot select between PAL/NTSC output anymore which is crucial for me as it seems that the iPad current setting is PAL, while I need to be it NTSC, otherwise video drop frames/stutters when played back over a TV.
What I would like to know if there is anybody out there who has iOS 5.0.1 and actually can see the "TV Out" settings under the General Settings (I think it should follow the "iTunes Wi-Fi Sync" directly), because no matter what I did I cannot the settings menu to be displayed (I've reset the device, plugged and unplugged the adaptor and HDMI cable multiple times, tried different TVs, etc)
Or, if the settings are in fact, gone by design, then how am I supposed to play 23.976 or 24 FPS media on a 1080p50 TV without stuttering (don't answer that, I know it is impossible, I am just frustrated). This is the first ever device I bought from Apple and I must say I am not that impressed by such turn of events.
I mean, what kind of update removes essential features and makes the officially produced accessory suddenly "not supported"? Did they even test their own official accessory?? Seems not to me.
This thread is talking about sort of similar issue (although it is about the VGA adapter):
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2413622?start=0&tstart=0

    Hi,
the settings are gone, i guess. But even worse, I cannot get the iPad2 to play Full HD thru the Apple digital AV adaptor using apps that support  (and advertise this), like AVPlayer HD. This definiteley used to work before one of the last iOS upgrades. (I am now at 5.1.1).

  • I cannot buy anything on my iphone 5(v.6.0.2) and it say itune version not support this purchase. or itune not install correctly.do i need to update IOS version?

can anyone tell me why?it just say : Your Purchase Could not be completed
Purchase Failed : Your Itunes version does not support this purchase, it was not installed correctly. or you're not sign into a itunes account.
    why?
or i need to update latest IOS?

Try to do a reset, if it doesn't work try remove recently added apps this may solve your problem ( like google app because it has happened with me)
Take a look at apps using your location service in privacy, it can cause battery draining.
