Is your friends phone jailbroke? Also are you using the facebook app? If so then you need to ask the developer of the app what the problem is.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Select "/var/log/install.log" from the file list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, start over and note the time. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

I have a football game recorded on a DVD+R disc that I was trying to view on my MacBook using DVD Player.  The video comes onto the screen, but immediately freezes, and then disappears.  An error message comes up saying that DVD player unexpectedly quit.  My MacBook operating system is Mac OS X, version 10.5.8.  DVD Player is App version 5.0.3, framework version 5.0.7.
However, the DVD+R works on both my Dad's and my brother's laptops.  My Dad's laptop is an iBook G4 with Mac OS X operating system, version 10.3.9.  The DVD Player is version 4.0.  My brother's laptop is a MacBook Pro with Mac OS X operating system, version 10.7.2.  The DVD Player is App version 5500.26.1 and framework version 5.5.0.  The DVD+R plays fine on their laptops, but will not play on mine.

    Lao Bo,
yes, you can locate and copy a file from your HD to a USB key using UNIX commands. If you know the exact name of the file which you’re trying to locate, try this:
    find / -iname filename -print
This command will search your entire internal disk for the particular filename. If you know that it’s within a particular user account, then you can save search time with this variation:
    find /Users/username -iname filename -print
Either variation of this command will print all files found which have the given filename. Presuming that you’re able to identify the correct file, you can copy it to a USB key using the command
    cp -p filename_returned_by_find /Volumes/USB_volume
If you’re not sure which volume name your USB key has, this command will show you what the possibilities are:
    ls /Volumes
Please let me know if you have any trouble with these commands.

It appears that the iPod 4 gen is below the cutoff for iOS 7

  • I've purchased two standard movies from iTunes and they started downloading then stopped saying download error any ideas on what to do??????? Help please!!

I've purchased two standard movies from the iTunes store and they both started to download very quickly and then out of the blue, they stopped and the message for both read as follows: error try again....now, no matter how many times I try again, neither of these movies will complete the downloading process before that same message pops up again!!!! It's making me so aggravated!!! Someone please help!!! I've spent good money on these vids.....what do I do???

Try to download them in iTunes on your computer. Connect your iPad to your computer and launch iTunes. Click on your iPad name on the left side of iTunes and then from the menu at the top of the screen go to Store>Check for Available Downloads. You should be taken to another screen where the incomplete downloads can finish and then you can sync them to your iPad.

  • File not found error 43 message. What is this?

I transferred a project to a friends logic and everything transferred fine except for the fact that every time we start the tune we get the notification: File not found, result code = -43. After we click through the first error code window another pops up and it says: Fade update failed, (error -43).
It is no big problem except for the fact that these come up every time we hit play. Then after we click through the error messages the song works perfectly.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Hi,
I have a 'file not found' problem with Logic Express. A while back I transferred all my Logic files to DVD to make room on the hard drive. It took 4 discs, saved alphabetically by song title. Now, I nearly always get the 'file-not'found' error message when I try to work on something. Sometimes when I click 'search' it finds the file, sometimes it doesn't. I'm confident that I didn't delete the files.
Wondering if 'search' would find the files if I transferred all the files from DVD to a single folder on an external drive. I don't use the 'search manually' option, because I'm not really sure what I'm looking for, or where to look. In the other room, perhaps? 'Computer challenged' is me. Any suggestions?

  • TIF files on 9300, when faxed come out blank

I have scanned some documents on my flat bed scanner and they are saved on my PC in TIF file format. Once I copy these to my 9300 I can view them correctly without issue. However my problem arrises when I try and fax that file using my 9300. The fax is sent correctly from the 9300 and completes without a problem, but the fax recieved at the fax machine is blank.
How can I send these TIF files as a fax so that they do come out correctly and are not blank?
(Sorry to post this twice, but its real important to me and I thought my previous post was a little unclear, Thanx)

I have tried converting the scanned file into the following formats, TIF, JPEG, GIF, and BMP, and all of them when faxed produce a blank fax.
Also when I tried to view the JPEG and the GIF file on the 9300, the error, Not enough memory, was displayed. But the TIF and BMP files I could view on the 9300.
I did do a fax of a normal WORD document and that produced a normal fax.
    Any help is appreciated.
