I noticed a significant difference. Normally my iPad 2 would sit in my bag overnight and drain just a few percentages. Now it drains almost completely. I have turned off all services, fetch, location, etc - it helps a little, but the battery life is worse than before. when you have iTunes logo with the use port showing on your iPhone 5 , it needs to place your iPhone in recovery mode. Hope you have back up your data before the update .
Here is is the step
1. Check you iTunes version software 11.3 or 11.4
2. Turn off your device . If you are having issue turning off the device, force quit by pressing and holding the power button and home button at the same time until the device is off.
3. Connect the use cable to your Pc or Mac and
Press and hold the home button while connecting the other end of the usb cable to your iPhone/ iPad / iPod .
continue to press and hold the home button until you see the iTunes logo with usb cable port on the
on the screen of your device And release .
4. On your pc or Mac. will show a message iTunes has detected your iPhone in recovery mode you must restore before you can use iTunes.
5. Click ok
6. Restore .
These process can be use also when your device is disabled with a passcode locked.....

It sounds like your iOS update is downloading too slow. Take a look at this information from the following article, about troubleshooting over the air downloads:
Resolve issues with an over-the-air iOS update
Download takes a long time, or you can't reach update server
iOS updates require a persistent Internet connection, and the time it takes to download the update will vary according to the size of the update and your Internet speed. You can use your device normally while downloading the iOS update, and iOS will notify you when you can install the update. To improve the speed of the download, avoid downloading other content.
If you get a message that "an error occurred downloading iOS," try again later. If the issue persists, try updating your device in another network or use iTunes to update your device. Learn more about iOS updates.
Update does not complete
If you're installing the update and the progress bar appears to move slowly, be patient. The time an update takes depends on the size of the update and the number of files on the device.
When you're updating over the air, keep your device connected to a power source so that it doesn't run out of power. If your device does run out of power, connect it to a power source and turn on the device to let the update or restore complete.
If the update never completes and the progress bar hasn't moved for an extended time, try restarting your device. If you still see the issue after you restart, see what to do if your device appears frozen or won't start.
You can also use iTunes on your computer to update your iPhone, so that is an option as well:

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

The load is only this heavy for iOS reference releases and then only on the first few hours. It is silly to expect any company to install enough servers for the volume, for a few hours of the year. Relax and keep trying or come back later.
Staggering the rollout would be worse, because the first servers would still be hit by everyone world wide anyway. Better to flip the switch on all the servers available at the same time. That way they are all on line from the start.

Why has ibooks slowed down on my iPad 2 since the iOS 8 download?

SInce my iOS 8 download on my iPad 2 device, the system drags through every move. Pages turn slowly, highlighting drags through the process, etc. it was very good before the download. My wife who has an Ipad 2 along with many other friends are having the same issue with ibooks. Can we expect a fix soon?

I have the exact same problem on my iPad mini. There is so much lag in iBooks after the iOS 8 upgrade that it's barely tolerable. It used to be that pages turned smoothly, books opened & closed smoothly, etc., but not anymore. I often find myself flipping accidentally through several pages because there is such a slow response time to my taps for advancing pages. In other words, I'll tap the screen to turn a page, nothing happens, so I tap again, & then suddenly iBooks will finally respond and 2 or 3 pages will flip. It's extremely frustrating.
Their is also some other general glitchiness (for lack of a better) word that I've been experiencing, but I'll try to observe it a little longer so I can better define what's happening.

Hey y'all, I ended up going to "google" and searching out how to download iOS 5 apart from iTunes. I found a link that allowed me to download the operating system, then to go into iTunes, under my iPod, then hold 'left-shift' and click 'restore'. It then let me use the new OS file, and updated my iPod perfectly. Make sure you back up your device before doing this as it restores it to factory settings, but you still get the new operating system. I then just synced my iPod with my computer and retrieved all my apps, songs, info, etc... Go here to download directly to your computer...

How to delete IOS 8 download from iPhone 5S?

IOS 8 was automatically downloaded to my iPhone 5S. I didn't realize that was going to happen (I discovered since that I had automatic downloads set to "yes"). I have not installed the download of IOS 8; and I don't want to, at least not yet. But that install module is taking up several GBs of my memory and I would like to delete it. However, I can't figure out how to do that.

Hello, flowerpet1. Thank you for your reply. Interestingly, your instructions worked on my iPad Mini, where I had the same problem. The update module was listed under "Usage" and I was able to delete it. Although I still have the red circle with "1" in it over my Settings icon on the home page, the status under Software Update is now "Download and Install" instead of just "Install". Also, the available storage on the Usage screen has increased by about 4.2 GB.
On my iPhone 5S, however, I'm not quite sure what the situation is now. The IOS 8 update module does not show under "Usage". However, the status under Software Update has also changed to "Download and Install" instead of just "Install"--but without my doing anything to the phone. Maybe the update file was removed from the phone when I removed it from the iPad. I don't remember what the available storage was before, so I don't know if I recouped any space.
Anyway, your reply was a big help. Thank you very much.

Thanks a lot. I see ,it's available to download when the software at the time of purchase on the adobe ID.
But in china ,in fact the company buy the license from the adobe agency.But the agency just give us the licence and the DVD disk copy,They do not let us know the adobe ID.
And now i cannot find the DVD disk.And the downloading link cannot find for chinese version

2.Could i use this license in adobe Acroba X (10.0) engish version?

IOS apps downloads not in the iTunes Store

There are many iOS apps downloads site apart from iTunes Store can be downloads. My question is, how can i downloads the apps to my iPad?
Is it perform as the same as the iTunes store? And why do the price differ from each other. Say for instance, i saw the angry birds are free, but in the iTunes Store is USD1.99?

The apps cant be download straight to your device, like the iTunes Store does! I'm not sure wheather its legal or unlegal though. Pls check again from the said site, read the instructions and best of luck!
If you ask me, i rather be download it from iTunes Store rather then gamble it. Maybe it can affect the stability of the apps and thus your device
