Ios 5 in ipodtouch4G ,really not smooth!!

In IOS 5,Appl e added some new features:Icloud,Messages with iMessage,Notification Center,newsstand and so on.seems pretty cool,but consider a palyer only for music ,games,video with 256 ram,i don't think it can afford that much.
thoes apps can't uninstall,and some apps( for me that don't need like Notification)must be running ,really affect it's performance of game。
recently i was playing fruit ninja and Puss in Boots,in touch4 with ios5 ,and the effects
really not good:not smooth and the Notification......
since we can't downgrade,i think apple should consider these think.256M RAM !!!
did any one have the same feeling?

It just says 4.3.5... =( Do i have to update to that first??

Tweening using AS3 - Not Smooth

Hi, im trying to develop a simple web gallery.
When the user scroll his mouse to the left side of the image the leftArrow will appear to allow him to move back
and same goes for the right arrow. Im using AS3 tweening using the tween class but the animation is really not smooth.
I saw this effect on a different website and the side arrows just pops out and a such a smooth way but i cant get it to work.
Any one can tell me why ?

However, I have 3 Issues Regarding iPad 2 with IOS 7:
1.) I can no longer open up the apps from the update page. (I used to be
able to & it was a quick way of making certain that I wanted to keep an app
before I updated it.
2.) I have many apps that I have updated since installing the new
operating system & they now have "open" symbols next to them, but I don't
know how to get them off of my update list (since that has already been
done to them).
3.) My iPad has gotten stuck or frozen more in this last week since the
new update then has in the last 2 years put together. (It seems to be stemming from the "Updates" page as sometimes that page is just white & will not open, even though everything else opens & I have an internet connection.)

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. Animation scroll not smooth in iOS

Hi! I figured out to make parralax responsive scrolling in adobe edge animate (with great help from tim jaramillo), but the scrolling is not smooth in ios.
Is there any way to make it smooth/elastic like a normal scroll in ios (ipad, iphone etc.) This would be so great to have! In normal browsers it's fine, though:
I know its tough to get parallax scrolling in ios anyway, so this would be aa big achievement to have...

Here is your quick fix.
1. Make sure your Predictive text is on
2. Go to your messages app
3. Make sure your keyboard is up in the messages bar
4. On top of your keyboard in the center there is a small WHITE LINE
5. Touch and hold on that spot until that white line is gray out
6. Flick your finger/thumb up and Bam!!there is your predictive text.
7. FYI if you are typing and somehow you flick your thumb down, you will close that predictive feature by accident.

It is unacceptable for apple to make people buy new products. I have the iphone 4 and I don't think about taking a new one. But the ios 7 is really irritating since it lags everywhere. I really love your products, but this is not just right

TS1398 After upgrade to iOS 6 i am not able to use wifi.

Connected, but no wifi traffic (at home).
After upgrade to iOS 6 i am not able to use wifi. I am connected to my home wifi but no trafic is coming through (safari, skype, twitter, app store). I have even tried recovery of my iPhone 4S using iTunes as well as using iPhone. But without effect.

switch proxy to auto
turn the flight mode on and off
turn the iphone on and off
release the ip
recovery the network settings
recovery firmware
I have tried all these, but did not work.
PS to apple:
I really did not expect this kind of trouble. If I would want to waste my time "repairing my device", I would buy an android phone!!!!!!

My Macbook Pro's navigation is not smooth and screen shakes after after i open folders

I just bought my macbook pro 15" and i am experiencing some problems
For example,
i put safari or any application to full screen. So whenever i move my curser to the top of the screen to i can activate the bar (File - Edit - View - .. etc) It doesn't show and go down smoothly
Whenever I navigate to the right and left with my three fingers, its never smooth ... It keeps breaking and become slow
When I scroll to open my notification center its not smooth
Sometimes the screen shakes when i open an application or do certain things
I guess its a software problem. Please help me find a solution because its getting really frustrating, especially that i just bought it

Text edges are ridged and not smooth

I have FCE and I used livetype to add some annimated text to my video project. But when I add the text to my FCE project on playback the text edges are ridged and not smooth. How can I correct this. F.Y.I. my video projects are in HD, not sure if that would make a difference but just wanted to provide the info.

If you watch the video in HD and about 30 secs into the clip when its just the text on the screen you can see exactly what i mean

1. Set your LiveType project properties to match your Final Cut Sequence settings.
In the Project Properties window you can also set the render quality. Make sure it is set to "Normal".
2. When you add the LiveType object to your FCE timeline, it will need to be rendered. This is indicated by the colored stripe above the clip on the timeline.
3. The Canvas always shows a low-res proxy, to better enable real time playback. Final Cut Pro will let you connect a calibrated broadcast quality monitor or at the very least, an excellent TV. This is the only way to see what you really have. I don't use FCE, so I don't know if it has this capability.

Three external SWF's - not smooth. Fla included

Hey geniuses.
I have a main Flash movie that preloads three external SWF's just perfectly. Everything is great...except the 1st movie is not smooth and really slow, the 2nd movie is a little better, and the third movie is the best.

It's a rather simple Flash portfolio...I'm thinking it could be a stacking issue-but I've approached it from so many different ways instead of wasting my time shooting at thin air, I thought I'd give this forum a shot.
How can I make these three movies play smoothly?

the link is the page where the main fla exists. That fla is the one i attached. It loads three external swf's into a holder. The three buttons at the top choose which swf is visible on the page. The site just shows the three buttons, and when you click on button 1, 2, or 3, it will either load movie 1, 2, or 3.
The frames per second are all consistent across the board. I attached the .fla just incase there were problems that were visible in the actionscript. It's not a lot of code, so that makes it easy to look at-but I just can't solve this one.

Like to share that my AV Adapter problem is solved ... brought it to Apple Service Center as a last resort after the new iOS v5.1 did not solve mine like some others have theirs solved.
In fact, the Apple Service Center tried my AV Adapter and find that it does not work with their iphone and ipad too and flagged for a replacement.
Just this week collected the replacement and tested that the replaced adapter works !
So this "unsupported device" error msg could also be due to faulty adapter .... although it is unbelievable that a "simple" wired connector could so easily breakdown after 1 time use ! I never did believe that it can be broken so easily as we hardly used it after the first testing with our TV on HDMI.
Closing this chapter of mine finally.

Bad gradients(not smooth)

Hello everyone.
I am using a Unibody MBP 2.4
Everything seems fine and I had no issues with it - or the screen.
But today I noticed a weird thing about the screen. I created a radial gradient on Photoshop, and it seems really bad. Circular lines appear inside the radial gradient, which makes it look not smooth.
It's like it's missing some colors (If you create a radial gradient then go to System Preferences - Display Settings and use Thousands colors instead of Millions then look at the gradient again you will notice what I am talking about).
I also tried several calibrated profiles but none seem to have solved the problem.
Any suggestions?

Hello, I have a similar problem with the pix on any web browser. Very bad resolution and everything is gradient. I am wondering if anyone has experienced such a thing... I am very upset. The reseller tells me its a general issue and that I should wait for an update fix.

I experience this also sometimes (whatsapp), is this a bug??
sometimes when a person writes 2-3 messages in a row (for instance) in whatsapp (im in standby mode), it sometimes only displayes ONE message in lock screen mode (though he/she wrote more than 1), and sometimes shows the right corresponding written messages!
Why is this?
its really annoyoing when you get messages in lock screen mode BUT it doesnt stay and remain so you notice it. That way you get missed messages etc and notices it first...when doing the "pull-down list".
