IOS 5 iphone internal error

I am getting an error message that my iphone cannot be synced with ios 5 due to an internal error. I have tried resetting it then wiped it and still getting the message.

I'm having the same problem. I hope someone (Apple?) figures out what is going on and how to fix it. I tried the "solutions" suggested when you click "more info," but those did nothing.
@Werikz, I don't think demand has anything to do with it. The update was downloaded, it just won't install.

So, I've restarted, turned off firewall, and changed USB. Get internal errors on both iPhone and iPad. Both running version 4.3.5. Have Lion 10.7.2 on my iMac. Soooo .... could it simply be everyone's trying to update? Anyway, I've tried each device a few times and still get the same error. The last time I tried it said couldn't do it because the servers that handle the update were busy.

What did you use to attempt the update to OS X 10.5.4 (software update or something else)?
In any event, I suspect something went wrong in the download process. Try downloading the combo updater and then applying it.

When i try to update my Iphone 4 to IOS 5, it does it back up etc and then comes up with a message saying there is an internal error.
I have the most recent version of Itunes, have tried re starting my mac, turning my iphone off and on, still the same message.
Can anyone help me please??

And that message is exactly what? What system? What update? You need to be a lot more specific and provide more info.

IPhone 4 Internal Error Code 28 07

While using my iPhone 4 (running iOS 6.1) that I recently bought second hand from ebay, an error message will randomly pop up saying "Internal Error Code 28 07" with the option to either accept or cancel. No matter what I select it will always take me back to what I was doing and nothing will be wrong. I have read a lot about this error being to do with being stuck in restore mode, not being able to sync etc, however none of these apply for me. At the moment it is not so much of a problem as nothing is actually wrong with it, however it would be nice if anyone knew a fix for this because it is quite annoying. I was considering taking it to my nearest apple store this weekend to see if they have anything to say about it, however it is about an hours drive away so decided to post here, and many other places, first.
tl;dr Internal Error Code 28 07 keeps coming up but nothing seems to be wrong. Anyone have a simple fix?

That's probably due to a problem with your SIM card. Talk to your carrier about it.

IOS 6.1.2 internal error Cannot sync since update

So first the update forced me to erase my phone to default settings. I survived that. Now I keep getting internal errors when I try to sync my device with iTunes. Anyone else have a fix on this? Other than erasing once again to default. I have a feeling the same thing will happen again and I have a large recording (voice memo) on my phone that I want to get off of my phone and into itunes - the file is too large to email. I have a iPhone 4s also.

I have had this happen as well on an iPhone4, both with 6.2 IOS update, and the 6.2.1 update. Both failed with 'unknown error' and then did a restore (on the same Mac Air), and required a restore of the backup and a sync to get the apps backs (on the same Mac Air). My iPhone5 upgraded just fine though. Other than the two IOS update failures, the iPhone4 works perfectly and sync's fine etc. I rather suspect it is an IOS update issue as I've heard of this same problem on other iPhones, but just iPhone4. Very odd that after the restored backup etc the IOS itself is indeed updated. Perhaps Apple is 'phasing' the iPhone4 and pushing it out with IOS updates that frustrate iPhone4 users, or it's just another example of some MS Windows programmer now working for Apple!

My iphone 4s won't restore - internal error

My iPhone 4s was syncing fine until last month. It failed due to an "internal Error" in the phone. After 4 hours of tech support with Apple and several reset to factory settings and removal and reinstallation of iTunes, it still failed. I was then sent to the Apple Store where after quick review, the phone was replaced. the problem remains. It will not restore nor sync. So now my phone is empty and just like new...without any music, contacts or calendar.
Please help!

Try taking it to an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Center and see if they get a consistent error as each of those errors you report is a different type of issue.

- in french translated in english "internal error : the internal temperature of your iphone get over the maximal temperature threshold, put off it or put it in a fridge"
- in english "Internal error. The function block A1 returned the message : "L.O.L.", please contact a specialist
I am a little bit afraid about some virus, but I have no response ?

Prima di tutto stai provando a installarlo da I-tunes o da wifi del telefono, immagino da i-tunes se ti esce quell'errore. Il mio consiglio è quello di reinstallare la precedente versione del firmware 6.1.3, e installa ios 7 direttamente utilizzando il wifi del telefono.

if your computer is not recognizing it, try using a different USB port or different usb cable. if that doesnt work you will need to uninstall and reinstall itunes.

Can't sync with iTunes because of a internal error

I was doing a restore of my iphone 5 because none of the art work matched the song or the artist....All was fine I was downloading my Itunes Library from the cloud and all the sudden I got a error saying I cannot sync with itunes due to a internal error now its stuck I cant get in...
Please help these problems I never had until iOS 7 this downloading from the cloud requires a large bit transfer ..I feel it would be good to have the option to be able to download itune the old way by syncing with you computer via USB for individual song the cloud is great but large files take way to long and that's were the errors occur..
Also I'm in Bahrain were cell,wifi data transer is not as good as some places in the world...

This seems to be a commom problem. Mine occured in the middle of updating to the IOS 5. It didn't do it to my daughter's but it did it to mine & now whenever I try to sync or backup it constatantly says to delete old backup & that it's corrupted. Well I tried the deleting & The encrypting with the password & it still won't backup my phone & still says that same message. You would think Apple would give this help free automatically when they do an update!! I should have just left well enough alone I guess. But if anyone has any advice on how to fix it without deleting all my content (which is a lot), I would greatly appreciate it~!

Kindle Internal-Error

Ever since I did the update to ios 6.1, my Kindle app no longer opens on my iPad 3. When I go to the app it asks for my Amazon login and password. When I type it in, and it is correct, I get a message saying Internal-Error. I also did the update to 6.1 on my Iphone 4 and that still works.
I have deleted and re-downloaded my Kindle app. Same problem.. Also, a hard re-boot. I do not want to restore my settings.
Also, there is a website I tried to go to, papercraftsmag.com, that wib;t open. The address line just keeps blinking.
I do not have any of these problems on my iPhone 4.
Can any one help me. I keep thinking something in my settings on my IPad must have gotten messed up. I've been comparing both devices in settings and really don't see anything though.

i don't know why i have that error
i did first an update via Iphone internal update to get IOS 7.0.4 - Iphone says the Update fails. i tryed it many times
always the same massage Update not Possible at this time.
So... i tried it with Itunes.... that was the end of my Iphone.
The Update Stops in the middle and Itunes gives the error Massage 33.
but no info what's the problem. Sins that time the Iphone 5 is not possible to restore or to try an recovery in DFU Mode.
i have no ideas what could help.

It may indicate a problem with security software in your computer, or it may indicate a hardware problem with the iPhone. Apple has some information on the error here which may help:
