IOS 5 Reminders App Bug

I would like to report a bug with the Reminders app on iOS 5.1. I had this issue on iOS 5.0 and 5.0.1, but thought it should be fixed by now.
Here are the steps I take and what happens:
I create a new reminder, let's say "Pick up stuff from locker" on a certain day at 3 PM, and set it to remind me every day until I do it.
It reminds me every day at the right time, with no problems.
I finally get the reminder done, and pick up stuff from my locker. I then open the Reminders app.
I check the checkbox next to "Pick up stuff from locker", and wait a few seconds.
The reminder stays on the Reminders page. I swipe to the right to reveal the Completed page, and I see "Pick up stuff from locker" there.
I swipe back to the Reminders page, and STILL, the reminder "Pick up stuff from locker" is there, and this time it's unchecked.
I repeat steps (4) to (6) with no end in sight. At this point, I have duplicates of "Pick up stuff from locker" in the Completed page, but the reminder still will not disappear from the Reminders page. It's not until I actually have to manually delete all the duplcates AND the original reminder from the Reminders page do I see things go back to normal.
I think this is a serious bug, and I would like to see it finally fixed in the near future.

Ios 5 Reminders apps issue

Yesterday I upgrade my 3GS to IOS 5 and was fine, I tested every feature and not problem at all but today Reminders apps just show me up Completed screen, I can't create tasks anymore. Anyone knows what I have to do to back Reminders to life?

IOS 8 - Photos app bug - "stuttering" effect on Year view

Hi Folks,
On the iPhone6 Plus 128GB with iOS8.1.3 (with 15000 photos inside several years go), I notice that when using the Photos native app in the “Year view” (yearly mosaic view), if I scroll up or down slightly fast, the scrolling that you get has a little “stuttering” or “jerking” effect, so the UI is not perfectly smooth in this view inside Photos native app.
Have you noticed it in your own iPhone's with iOS8.1.3. and also having a huge size photo callery as I have (>10000 photos spread in several years)? (I think that is it very important, because if you have not a huge photo gallery, probably you will not see the “stuttering” or “jerking” effect that I am describing).
I think this is a bug which impacts iOS User eXperience, which needs to be fixed.

IOS 5 Photos.app bug?

I've been actively using the share button in photos.app to post pictures to Twitter for months now. I occasionally crop my pictures before tweeting them, and today I finally realized what's happening after (rather embarrassingly) tweeting a photo that included a combination for my locker at my school. Everytime I tweet a photo from the share button, any editing is removed and the original, unaltered photo is tweeted. I've searched a lot of forums and can't find anyone else that's experiencing this. I am running iOS 5.0.1 on an iPad 2, and am just looking to see if this is a problem for anyone else or if there's a way to avoid this, outside of taking a screenshot of the edited photo and tweeting that.

I'm running iOS 6 on my ipad and when I upload cropped photos to EBay they revert back to the original. Any idea why?

IOS 5 Reminders Lists Bug?

Howdy-
I seem to be having a weird problem with my Reminders in iOS 5:
In my Reminders Lists I see two groups labeled "On My iPhone" (see screenshot below). I can't seem to delete or merge these two lists into one. My wife's iPhone 4S with iOS 5 doesn't seem to have this same problem.
I've tried every combiniation of enabling and disabling iCloud reminders syncing. I've also removed all my gmail and exchange accounts and re-added them. So far nothing I've tried has gotten these two lists to merge or go away.
Any ideas on how to fix?

IOS 7 email app bug -- commands at bottom of screen disappeared

iOS programmers, need you to look into this:
Curious if this has happened to anyone else using the native mail app on iOS 7 -- I opened an email (actually, several emails) and the commands to reply, forward, flag, trash, file etc.. were simply not there at the bottom of the screen. The only way I could reply to an email was to return to the email list, swipe sideways, click "more" and reply from there. I closed the app and re-opened it later, and the commands had returned.

Also, I just realized that the 'all day' section only shows events that are marked 'all day' which I guess makes sense, but it also means it's less functional than I thought it was because you still have to scroll through the hour-by-hour view to find your other events. The old way at least would show you all the events for the whole day when you touched the individual days. I just need to be able to see what date and what time my events are at. Having to scroll through the hours of each day to find events seems illogical. It would be more helpful to be able to see all my events than to have them buried at the bottom of a graphical representation of a calendar that I'm forced to scroll through.

Reminders app bug on iPhone 5s and Mac loses time/date.

I have the iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1 and my Macbook Pro with 10.9.2, when I click on another reminder or "Done", the time/date goes away. I have tried hard resetting, turning on/off the cloud, etc, but no luck. Sometimes, it even loses the reminder itself, and copies the reminder above it, so it is listed twice. Very annoying, seems to have started when I updated to ios 7.1, but I'm not sure. I did see a somewhat similar thread here: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5373286 but its not exactly the same issue, and doesn't appear to have been resolved. I just wanted to confirm if we are having the same issue. When I set a reminder and then try to set a time/day for the alert to go off, and try to add a location (meaning, when I arrive or depart a set location the alert will go off) as soon as I set those things and go back to the main page to see if the reminder is set correctly, the bubble that u turn on or off to set a time turns off, so my alarm time and day are gone and the location setting is off as well. So the only thing I see is the reminder but it won't allow me to save the time and day or location I set to go off. So what's the point of having a reminder, it just becomes the same as the notes app.

Outlook tasks completed in iOS Reminders app regenerate 'orphaned' reminders endlessly in Outlook.

Our small business runs up-to-date (iOS 8) Apple devices that sync via MS Exchange with our email, contacts, reminders, etc.
I create a task in Outlook and include a reminder. The task and reminder sync to Reminders on my iPhone and iPad. When I mark a task complete on mobile, the reminder disappears there as it should... but it regenerates the reminder in Outlook! The Outlook task is complete, but the reminder pops up at the top of the list in the Outlook reminders pop-up window. Marking it complete there is an option, but it just regenerates a new reminder. The only way to remove this 'orphan' reminder is to dismiss the reminder or delete the task.
The iOS 8 Reminders app would be very useful but for this bug. It's even better that it puts my work tasks and home tasks (we use a Mac at home so no problem there) in one place. But as it is, the app is not a time saver, but a time-waster and a source of frustration.

Are the bugged badges for the iOS Reminders app a known issue?

I've seen quite a few posts covering many years on this issue, and it seems to have gone ignored by Apple.
The issue is badges not showing up for the Reminders app, even though they are turned on in the Notifications Center. It does not seem to be that they are simply broken, because if you change the priority of a reminder, or physically go in and "Snooze" a reminder, then it seems to force the app to pull up a badge.
I'm not totally sure what I expect out of another discussion, since most of the ones I have found ended with "yep, it's broken", but if you happen to know of a fix, or have heard that maybe Apple is aware of it... I'd love to hear it!

Bug in new reminders app on ipad

When I type past the bottom of the notes box on the new reminders app, it jumps back up to the top and will not let me scroll back down. Why is it doing this? It works fine on my iphone 4.

Did you ever find a fix for this? Seems to still be around in IOS 6

How do I delete locations in Reminders app iOS 8

In the Reminders app on iOS 8 when I turn on "remind me at a location" I see a growing list of locations most of which I'd like to delete. I am unable to figure out how to do this. Anyone know?

Well it turns out it can't be done. This strikes me as odd as the buildup of unwanted locations makes the app cumbersome to use. If you have the same problem may I suggest you file a complaint with Apple here.

Reminders App in iOS 7

Is anyone else having MAJOR issues with the iOS 7 version of the Reminders app?
Here are some things i've encountered.
1. In settings, when you set the default 'list', and then go to reminders, it always goes to the last list you were on, not the default.
2. (and i'm shocked that apple messed this one up)... There is no longer a "+" sign to create a reminder. You have to scroll down to the bottom of your list in order to add a reminder. And when you are in the 'scheduled' reminders, the 'return' key does not allow you to create another reminder.
Has anyone else had these problems or know a solution? I just feel like this app took two giant steps back instead of any steps forward.

Same problem. I contacted Apple and a customer service agent tried to help me. I had them go through the same process and they agree it is flawed. They put in a request to management to fix it but who knows how long that will take. Ios7 made reminders worse.
Also everytime I delete a reminder instead of marking it complete, it scrolls up to the top of the page. Little thing but so annoying. Have to scroll all the way back down.
Becasue you cant edit in the notes areas of Reminders, another pain is trying to copy any text from. You cant even do that if you want to bring it to another app to edit, without having a headache.

Reminders app iOS

First, where can a person post a wish list for an iOS app, such as Reminders?
For discussion: I really like how Reminders will put Tasks into Outlook, which I'm forced to use at work.
I would like the ability to reorder the Tasks by dragging and type in landscape mode.
Thoughts?

I have a similiar but slightly different problem. My badge won't go away in iCloud unless I "activate" it. This affects both Calendar and Reminders apps and only in iCloud. When I first log in, if I have no reminders I get this odd default # of calendar alerts and reminders. If I create an event that sets off an alert, the badge for the calendar will reset to 0 like its supposed to. If I do the same with a reminder, then the badge for the Reminders will reset to 0 like its supposed to.
Really, really annoying for apps that I use constantly. Unfortunately there's not really a good, simple replacement that doesn't require some other cloud service. Also, I do have one shared calendar and one shared reminder list.
