IOS 6 Gamecenter ID did not require email address. iOS 7 does, how do I sync Game Center on new device

My kid's have 3 iPod Touch's, 4th gen running iOS 6. We all share one Apple ID for purchases, but they each have their own Game Center ID. iOS6 Game Center DID NOT require an email address to use. Now I have bought them all iPad mini's that are running iOS 7. iOS7 REQUIRES an Apple ID to use. How do I import their Game Center info onto the Mini's?

- The iTunes backup that iTunes makes included photos in the camera roll. If yo go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices what is the date of the backup? Is it when the photos were on the iPod? You have to restore from that backup.
- What may have happened is that you backup the iPod after you restored the iPod but before restoring from backup. iTunes only keeps one backup and overwrites the previous backup with the changes.

Hello - I just purchased an iPhone 4s and would like to use iCloud but my apple id is not in email address format so when i try to sign into iCloud it won't let me use my apple id. i tried to change my apple id through my account settings but could not find a way to do that. i found ways to change everything else in my settings but when i pushed on the edit button to change my apple id the page didn't change. Not sure how i can get to use iCloud? Please help.

Can't sign up/in to ePrintCenter - either does not recognise email address or does at signup

Registered my new Photosmart 5510 and created a new HP account with my personal email address. Also ticked the option to create a snapfish account.
I assume it did this as I can log into snapfish.co.uk just fine with the credentials I supplied.
I then went ot eprintcenter and tried to login with the very same credentials and it claims invalid username and password.
I click on the snapfish icon to log in via that way and still same problem.
So, I click on forgot password - says please enter email address registered with an account - erm well I just did - see above.
So I tried creating a NEW account with the same email address and it says that email address is in use.
Stuck.
Please help - signing up to an account should not be this hard!

So what you can do is go to eprint center and click on sign in and when it goes to that log in page if you look at the bottom Where it says log in with a different Account
-select the snapfish ( should be a blue box with a black fish in the box itself
-Sign in with your snapfish log in and it should register the account as an eprint account and usable for you

How do I set up another Apple ID with same email address so that my daughter can use game center with her own account?

We have two Ipods and an Iphone. We usually just use my Apple ID for everything on each device. However, when downloading games to the game center, we have to use my Apple Id and then it automatically sets up my game center username on my daughter's Ipod. But she wants to play some of the same games that I do but she can't because my username keeps coming up.
How do I add another Apple ID to the same email address or create another user id for the game center?

However, I have 3 Issues Regarding iPad 2 with IOS 7:
1.) I can no longer open up the apps from the update page. (I used to be
able to & it was a quick way of making certain that I wanted to keep an app
before I updated it.
2.) I have many apps that I have updated since installing the new
operating system & they now have "open" symbols next to them, but I don't
know how to get them off of my update list (since that has already been
done to them).
3.) My iPad has gotten stuck or frozen more in this last week since the
new update then has in the last 2 years put together. (It seems to be stemming from the "Updates" page as sometimes that page is just white & will not open, even though everything else opens & I have an internet connection.)

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. BUT as I want to utilise the money spent on the additional memory it would be great to use the initial account set up as my primary HOWEVER as far as I have tried the initial apple ID CANNOT be changed. Bit confused actually any usefull guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Please do not post the entire messages log as it takes up unnecessarily a lot of space. It seems that there is a corrupt/nonfunctional file called
[email protected]nt.plist
Go to your hard drive, enter library, go into users, and go into launch agents and delete the thing above. Empty the trash and restart.

Apple ID will not accept email address

PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I GO SPARE!!!!
Have updated my iPad to latest OS. When turning on for first time it is asking for my Apple ID and password. Enter these and fine to move on (noting that my Apple ID here is NOT my email address).
Next screen is called "Update Apple ID" and asks for an email address. I put in my email address that is linked to my account when using the "appleid.apple.com" website, but it now complains and will not let me continue. Error message is: "Try another Apple ID. This Apple ID is already being used. If this is your account, reset a forgotten password at iforgot.apple.com"
There seems no way around this. I have been through the reset password that was suggested, but only thing I've been able to achieve is now having a password that is different to all other ones I use and will now most likely get forgotten! Even through the "appleid.apple.com" it will not let me change my Apple ID to my email address as it states that it is already in use (call me stupid, but I know it's in use, it me!!).
So I'm completely stuck in a closed loop with no escape. HELP!!!!!
"if" I had previously created a user with my email address, then surely the system would not have allowed me to set my email address to be the same as that other user. However, I don't recollect creating that user, and what's more, I cannot log in to that account as I can't guess the password. I've even tried getting the system to send me a reset password for that account, but it then simply resets MY password for MY account, which, as mentioned above, is beyond a joke.
Apple need to get their heads around passwords / email addresses / apple id's - if they have tightened up the security policies, then there are some loose ends that need correcting. I can't even see anywhere that would let me delete an unwanted apple id account.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Not trying to step on Philly's toes on this one - but If Philly's suggestion doesn't work, I would contact Apple. There have been a few reports of this Apple ID problem after updating the iOS in the past few days. Personally, I don't get it. If the Apple ID worked before the update, there is no reason why it should not work after the update.

Apple ID is not an email address so iCloud doesn't recognize it.

My current Apple ID is not an email address. When I try to set up iCloud using my current ID, it automatically adds the "me.com" after it and that is not my actual ID. What can I do to rectify this? Should I change my ID to an email? I have a mobileme account, but I can't use that email address for some reason. I've emailed apple a few times and they can't seem to be able to answer me.

Here's my situation, and what I have discovered:
My family shares one Apple ID for our iTunes purchases. We have two iPhones, two iPads and an iPod touch all running iOS 5 between us. The 'master' Apple ID, that we all use for iTunes, is my e-mail address. I created a separate Apple ID (their own e-mail addresses) for each individual in the family, which is used to connect to the iCloud for the purposes of syncing and backing up to the iCloud.
The only odd configuration I have found is that each device that I set up with a different Apple ID for the iCloud, also retains an iCloud mail account with the 'master' Apple ID. The e-mail address (the 'master' Apple ID) for this iCloud mail account (called 'iCloud') cannot be changed, although the account can be deleted (which I don't want to try because I don't know the consequences). The only thing I have enabled in this iCloud account is 'Find My iPhone/iPod' so all my family's devices can be seen in the Find My iPhone app using my 'master' Apple ID.
Using this setup we have been able to maintain our own Contacts and Calendars, all synced to iCloud using our individual Apple IDs.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Purchased tab in "App Store" app doesn't work when AppleID is not an email address.

After updated my iPhone and iPad to iOS 6 (both 6.0&6.0.1), Purchased tab in "App Store" app doesn't work when AppleID is not an email address. This happened since 6.0 and I hope that it will be fixed in6.0.1 but it doesn't.
When I tap at Purchased tab in iPad App Store or Purchased bar in Updates tab in iPhone App Store, it just hang on "Loading...", but when I changed to other AppleID, it works. Apparently, my AppleID is not an email address but the other AppleID is an email address.

I had a name for my user name not an email address and now I cannot get access to my itunes account

I had a simple user name through the itunes store. It was just a name not an email address, now when I sign in it sends me to an old itunes account which does not recognize purchases that I have made over the last 5 years.
Any clue as to how I can access my old account again? I tried asking the system to send me a password with my username (which is not an email address) and have yet to see an email that was on flie with that address.
