IOS 6 Icloud problem

Since uploading IOS 6 I have not been able to access icloud or itunes match on my iphone4...any help much appreciated!

Hallo Shadowrap411,

I'm assuming you have Photo Stream set up of both devices.  However, it seems many users are experiencing the same as you - my take is that streaming photos is not foolproof yet.

  • IOS iCloud access is a real flaw. There should be a way to access my iCloud stuff on the web from my portables

iOS iCloud access is a real flaw. There should be a way ic an use my mobile devices to access my iCloud content on the web. The push probably works if you are on a fits network, but ia m in a rural community and use my iPad as a laptop when I am working .Apple please fix this. It is unnecessary.
I miss steve. He was such a fascist for good design

What iCloud content are you trying to access that is not already on the iPad? Maybe I am misunderstanding your statement, but all of your iCloud content is already on the iPad. Why do you need to access your iCloud.com account on the web?

  • I have an iphone 5 and ipad 3 - I went to the Apple store and tech unable to sync them. Suggested it was an icloud problem and needed to go online to get it solved, but first to back up phone. I have done this now. Help please.

I have an iphone 5 and and ipad3 which I wish to sync.
I went to Apple store and tech unable to do this - wasn't happening and said there was an icloud problem and to go on line to find out, as they didn't do icloud issues in the store.
I've backed up my phone in the meantime.
I want to be able to read my kindle books and access contacts between these items.
Another question, I brought more icloud storage, but iphone is not saving to icloud as well.phone will not back up as says not enough storage - keh?
Appreciate any assistance on these two things.
I have another appointment with Apple store end of this week.
Last time they also said I may need to have my iphone replaced - this would then be my thrid iphone in 4 months! First iphone the camera didn't work (lucky I found out on second day and automaticallly replaced).
This iphone is doing black screens, will not ring (despite techy trying to get phone to ring - YET the alarm works fine to wake me up). Phone vibrates but won't ring, even though set to ring.
Appreciate any help with icloud issue mainly.
I think I'm feeling a bit fatalistic I will end up with yet another replacement phone.
I am very disappointed as this is m first introduction to the iphone - not going well so far.
ipad 3 is great. Love it.

  • IOS 5 problems [reply all problems HERE]

Please reply all iOS 5 problems here so Apple can read them and fix.
my iOS 5 problem is that I can't listen my music on iphone.
when i click play nothing happens.

Yesterday, I wanted to update both my iPhone 4 and our iPad to ios 5 and boy this turned out to be a 5 hour affair with only the iPhone successfully installed. Initially, I had to update my iTunes to 10.5 which requested a PC reboot. Coincidentally Microsoft also had 8 updates requiring installation when I rebooted - already 45 mins lost. With iTunes 10.5 successfully installed, we then proceeded to install ios 5 on the iPad. The software downloaded OK (700MB plus and lots of activity on the Apple servers), the download speeds were slow. OK, an hour later and now ready to install, except there was an error after error after ........error message, all completely meaningless and then something about not being able to make contact with the Apple servers to verify ..... whatever.
Against my better judgement, now tried to install ios 5 on my iPhone 4. And again, the 700MB download (another 60 mins), backup of the iPhone and then installation and then for some reason the restore was interrupted/continued three to four times. Sometimes the Apple device lost connection with my laptop (was the cable faulty? Never before...., sometimes an uninitiated reboot was required (and not requested) to keep things moving along.
Apple, are you there? What went wrong? We're just as devasted as you all are that Steve is no longer around but is this a tribute? This kind of performance is what Microsoft provided a decade ago! Is this good enough?

  • HT201320 setting up mail in ios 6 problems

While setting up mail on my iphone 5, the account (Both gmail and Yahoo) gets stuck on "adding account" and eventually times out.  I have had 3 iPhones prior, iPads and have never had this problem before.  Is it an ios 6 problem??? Thanks!

Perhaps you have a corrupted Mail preferences file.  If you are familiar with using the command line from the Terminal application, I would suggest you try this:
    plutil -lint /Users/<your user name>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist
My file was fine, so I received this response:
    /Users/<your user name>/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist: OK
Your results may vary if the plist file for Mail on your machine contains syntax errors.

  • Is apple covering up iCloud problems 4/4/12?

Is apple covering up iCloud problems with mail and passwords?

It's been a mess for me since Tuesday, late morning. And, as the initial posted question suggests, YES, I DO think Apple is staying quiet on this. I think it's far more serious than any of us think. Otherwise, why wouldn't Apple be more communicative? And, they're saying it's affecting less than 1% of users. That's not MY reaction to the furer happening under the surface. I'm just so frustrated that none of the Apple news site are addressing it. I mean, could they NOT know?! Hard to believe. MacWorld. MacRumor... none of 'em are saying a thing.

  • ICloud problem since IOS 6

Hi has anybody else had problems trying to back up to iCloud since updating to IOS6? Every time I turn on my phone from standby it keeps asking for my password details which I then input. This happens about 4 times then stops. I still cannot backup so I tried to log out and in but now cannot log into iCloud. iTunes Store and apps are working no problem so this is baffling? Any ideas?

  • HT201210 ICloud update iOS 6 problems

After updating to iOS six iCloud asked for verification of my account. It said to check my email but nothing is there. I've been checking it for a couple hours now. Is anyone else experiencing this? Same thing is happening to my iPhone.

Are you trying to update from an earlier version or do you have 6.1.3 installed, which is the current version for your iPad?
6.1.4 is only available for certain iPhones. Or have I misunderstood your question?

  • IOS & iCloud: Broken iCloud data causes kbd process to crash constantly and drains battery

On Stackoverflow I was told to come here. Since a few days ago my iPhone 5s is getting unusually warm and the battery drains REALLY quick, like in 4-5 hours. I tried turning all the usual suspecty off (location service, cellular data, push, etc.) but no change. Now, when looking through the crash logs on the device, I found a huge number of crash reports for the kbd process. There is a crash log every ~30-60 minutes and they all contain something like this:

  • How to fix this iCloud problem?

Hi. I would like to ask for some assistance regarding this problem. This occurred after I've changed the Apple ID name only but not the password then to my mistake, I think, this affected the iCloud because I wasn't able to sign it out then after that, the email became Gmail from the previous Yahoo account. To my surprised, I didn't expect this to happen so then I tried signing out then entering the password but it keeps on insisting the same password but not the same Apple ID. After many failed attempts, it has come to my conclusion that I can't sign out this account without inputing the desired Apple ID. Anyone knows any steps to bypass this thing because I want to sign in my current account. If anyone is wondering, the previous iCloud account was verified, the Yahoo one. Then go figure. Hope anyone can help me fix this.

    Hi Chinozs,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you edited your Apple ID and now are unable to sign out of iCloud on your computer. To resolve this situation, you will need to temporarily edit your Apple ID back to the original email address and then sign out of iCloud. Once signed out, you can edit your Apple ID back to you current email address and sign in to all services. Please use the attached article as a further reference.
If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud - Apple Support
    Change your Apple ID temporarily
Use these steps to change your Apple ID temporarily:
Go to My Apple ID, click Manage your Apple ID, and sign in with your current Apple ID.
Select Edit next to Apple ID and Primary Email Address.
Change your Apple ID to the email address that iCloud is asking you to sign in with. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Sign out of My Apple ID.
Then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
Tap Settings > iCloud on your iOS device.
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device], and enter the password for your Apple ID. Your data remains in iCloud, and it will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
If you're signed in on more than one device with this Apple ID, repeat steps 1-3 on each device.
Go to My Apple ID, and sign in again.
Change your Apple ID to the email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud on your iOS device, and sign in with your new Apple ID.
If these steps don’t work, change your Apple ID temporarily again. Then sign back in to My Apple ID to make sure that your Apple ID was changed.
    Best regards,
    Joe

  • IOS 7 problems on the iPhone 4

I Just installed IOS 7 on my iPhone 4.  Pretty happy about the changes... BUT.... there is a significant delay when I type in any of the Apps (Safari, Facebook, Message, etc.).   It's almost as if the phone is not keeping up with what I am asking it to do.   It is almost unuseable!
I havne't seen any feedback or response from Apple yet.   I do see a lot of chatter on Facebook about a lot of dissapointed customers.  I hope Apple responds soon and talks about what they plan to do to fix the problems.   Again, I hope Apple didn't launch something that wasn't ready to be launched; like their Maps fiasco!!!

I viewed another discussion group.  They suggested that  "turning off Data and Documents in iCloud settings"  will fix the problem.   I did it and it does seem to fix the problem.
Now,  does anyone know what turning off Data and Documents in iCloud effects.   Will it effect the Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, Notes, Mail, etc?    Or does it only effect other documents like Pages, Keynote, and Numbers?

  • Ipad icloud problem

I have just discovered the automatic icloud  backup has stopped working on my Ipad.  It seems to have stopped on 8 May.  I don't recall making any set up or changes recently though there was an IOS update a few weeks ago.  Was it this?  I 've tried switching it back on but ipad won't back up.  Can anyone help?

No - I still have 20 gb on the ipad and 1.2gb on iclod.  I've also just discovered apps won't update.  I had problems downloading recently puchased music today which is what prompted me to check my icloud setting in the first instance.
I have ITunes Match.  I can access the music on my other devices (PC and iPhone)
