Ios 6 map not showing directions?

I using a iPhone 4 downloaded latest iOS in my phone but its not showing directions in map app please fix this.

Sadly it doesn't give you the answer you might want but many hope that google maps will release an app soon

fingers crossed, it appears they are working the bugs out of this update....i was able to post a pic to my newsfeeds/time line this morning....first the picture went into the ios album but within a minute, it appeared on my timeline! im glad ...

Ovi Map not showing railway lines on N8 (UK map)

I've recently purchased a N8, and I was suprised to see the UK maps not showing the railway lines. However if I scoll across to Germany for example, the lines are clearly shown.
They used to show up on my 5800 and show up on the Ovi maps website, so why no lines on the N8? Or is it just an issue with my device?
Can any other N8 users with Ovi Maps v3.06 confirm whether they show the rail lines in the UK please.
Any suggestions? I've tried re-installing Ovi Maps and re-downloading the maps but no change.

What version of the map data do you have as my N8 with 0.2.42.122 shows railway lines eg in Birmingham in the attached image. I have looked in a few places where I know lines run and all have been there, but it is possible that some have been missed.

Map not showing standard,hybrid and satellite only only location drop pin is visible

If you havn't already, i would download the latest version of the Maps application for your phone and load the latest map data using map loader.
They can both be found from:
http://europe.nokia.com/explore-services/maps/download
with maploader make sure you delete the older map data before loading new maps (there is a button there for this)

Maps not reading directions

I’m wondering how to make Apple maps work like a normal satnav. Under the product description it says it will provide turn by turn navigation, but all it does is show the route and put arrows/directions on the screen.
Should it not automatically follow my location and announce my next turn? Currently it does not follow my path or automatically go to the next direction once I have completed the previous direction.
A few points
Yes I have keyed in a route
Yes I have gps signal – and it finds my current location
Yes I have 3g on
Yes I have enabled voice under the maps options
I have tried using it in my pocket with headphone and out infront of me with screen on maps open etc
I have not used it plugged into a power supply
I have all the latest updates installed.
Any suggestions?

That is correct; Maps will not at this time show directions in the KSA. See:

When Apple will be able to offer directions in the KSA will depend in large part on the availability of appropriate data for your country from the providers (TomTom and others).
I don't believe that there is any way to change the default to Google Maps.

I installed new version of OVI maps today.
when I clicked on "my position" , it is not not showing my position correctly,

If Nokia Maps have not been used for a while stored ephemeris GPS data is out of date or similarly if application updated data can become corrupted. You don't mention whether you are hapy for Assisted GPS postioning method to utilise a network access point to contact positioning server = supl.nokia.com or whether relying solely upon the Integrated GPS of device. Try going outside away from tall buildings if feasible, launch Nokia Maps and wait 20 - 30 minutes for it to lock on to position.
It might be an idea to download LeGPSData2 application from Nokia Store so you can keep track of number of satellites acquired:http://store.ovi.com/content/208256

MAP not showing perfect

Dear SAP Guru,
My MAP is not showing perfect(Seams to me).
MAP = 8,270.59
Total Stock = 10,823.288
Total Value = 58,220,630.81
Possible MAP = Total Value(58,220,630.81) / Total Stock (10,823.288) = 5,379.20
But when I am doing GI, its takes 5,379.20 .
Will you please clear why it is showing the MAP = 8,270.59 and what are the possible reason.

IOS 6 not showing all Artists

After searching the discussions and a few third-party sites, I'm losing hope that iTunes Match will work again on my iOS devices. I actually noticed this first on my iPhone 4S, and can confirm it on my iPod Touch. Like many others, after upgrading to iOS 6, I received a message stating that "This Device Is Already Assocated With an Apple ID." All I can assume causing this is that I have different Apple ID and iTunes Store Account email addresses. I have followed Apple's suggested setup for such a scenario.
I have two MacBook Pro laptops and a MacMini that are all running iTunes Match without issue.
My iPhone 4S and iPod Touch that have been upgraded to iOS 6.0.1 shows the following:
23242 Songs (this is correct)
103 Artists (this is VERY wrong)
195 Albums (this is also VERY wrong)
My wife's iPhone 4S is still running iOS 5 and show the correct numbers for everything:
23242 Songs
6619 Artists
13576 Albums
This leads me to believe that the culprit in all of this must be iOS 6, but I'm not sure that a fix exists. I'm getting ready for a trip to Genius Bar, but I have little hope of a fix. I figured I'd see if others have this situation. For the record, both the iPod and my iPhone have had a full reset.

ok so the remote app is grouping all my album artists together under one Artist name: "various artists"

IPhoto for iOS does not show all Facebook albums

iPhoto for is not showing all of my Facebook photo albums when I attempt to share photos. I have not been able to recognize any differences between the albums shown or not shown except maybe album age - older albums remain invisible. Quite annoying.
I have the latest iPad with latest SW and latest iPhoto.

When I use iPhoto for iOS to share to Facebook I first get a chance to share one photo or select several.
Then I see a choice to upload to an album, usually Wall Photos, but there in only that one album visible.
Tap on that album and more choices come up. These include, eventually, all of my albums. I can then choose the album to which I want to upload the photo(s).

Map not showing in places

I'm using iphoto 09, and suddenly, no maps are showing up in places. In the get info section of a photo, the location name still shows up, but there are no maps, no pins for the maps, etc. Anyone have any idea? The map area just shows up blank.

Hi, I’ve found a similar topic with some advice. However, none of them has solved my problem with iPhoto ’09. My brother hasn’t got such problem in iPhoto ’11 on his Mac but I’ll wait for WWDC news before I decide to upgrade to ’11. Maybe our problem is related to the new stuff which is probably being tested now?

Color Map not showing time-dependent change

I am using the latest Sound and Vibration Measurement Suite in Signal Express. I have a Spectral Map step in my program, which includes a Color Map. I am recording an accelerometer's transient response to an impact, and want to see the time-dependent frequency intensity changes as a function of time, so a color map should be perfect. I have no problem recording the accelerometer's transient response in a time graph, and I also see the power spectrum in another graph. While the color map indeed shows various frequencies at different intensity levels, I don't see the intensity of any of the frequencies change over the course of the 200 ms that I'm recording, while the time graph clearly shows the decaying waveform. Why doesn't the color map show a decrease in intensity of the respective frequencies as time progresses through the transient? I have everything set up to display and record the first 200 ms of the impact. At the end of this period, the intensity should go to almost zero.
Please see the attached .seproj file to review the parameters I have set.
Also, with the same .seproj file, I will occassionally get a Buffer Overflow error. From this file, can you tell me what setting I need to change. But I need to make sure that all data both displayed and recorded, is for the 200 ms timeframe specified (10 ms before the trigger and 190 ms after). The ADC I'm using is an NI 9234 in a cDAQ-9172 chassis.

I am trying to figure out where this would be able to recognize the changes since the data would be taken from an analysis of one .2 second signal. Have you tried to analyze more than the one signal taken in? When I ran this project I got the display on the bottom right to show one signal as having been read which makes sense when looking at the data. If you wanted to see the changes over the 200 ms timeframe I would have it run continuous DAQmx acquires for that timeframe. It appears the analysis that we see stays static because it is doing analysis of only one data set that came in. I would think that the change in time that you want to see would have to have analysis done on multiple sample sets to notice the differences from one set to the next.

Photos taken from iOS device not showing up on Macbook??????

I have photo streaming turned "ON" on my iPhone 5, iPad Air and Macbook Pro. For some reason or another I have been having problems getting the pictures to show up on my Mac. The only time I need for this to happen automatically is when I am listing on eBay. For example I took a picture of the item that I want to list from my iPhone 5. Within a few minutes the picture shows up my iPad Air. I am using my Macbook Pro to list the items. It took over an hour for one picture to come over. I called Apple and without having a device that is under the 1 year contract or Applecare they push this support forum on you or pay $19.95 for them to walk you through it.
Before anyone replies, I have made sure that I am signed in under my apple ID on all three devices and have photo stream selected as well. All of my devices are updated to the latest software. Being that I am having problems with my Mac it is version 10.9.4 running Mavericks. If anyone has any definite answers to this problem I am having I would appreciate all the advice I can get.

No offense, but there are not definitive answers when it comes to iCloud.
Reset iCloud.
On your iOS devices, tap Settings > iCloud > Photos then switch Photo Stream off then back on.
On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud
Deselect the box next to Photos then reselect it.
Give iCloud a few minutes to re sync the data.

Drive Mapping not showing up in Explorer Drive Listing

Hi, I am having a strange problem.
I have a unc path that I want to map to and everything works fine.
Apart from one user.
When I try to map the drive under the probmatic account, I cant see anything in my drive list.
I can go to Computer and map the location by using the Map Network Drive button. (This works fine and the mapping appears.)
But the mapping doesn't appear if I use Net Use. (It says the command completed successfully but it doesn't show in my drive listing)
I have added the account to the local administrators group and turned off UAC.
It's really strange.
I need it to be able to map using Net Use because I have a batch file with a command in.
Have you come across anything like this?

Hi,
No multiple connection to the share using the same credentials. It's basically saying that I can't connect to the share as more than one instance of the same user.
But it's showing that no sessions exist. It's like it's not cleaning up the connections properly when you close them.
I have found some other articles.

Run command "net use" in command line with administrator privilege and see if the drive is mapped.
If you can see the mapped drive in the result of net use but cannot see it in Windows Explorer, the issue may be caused by UAC. Are you the domain adminsitrator?
