IOS 6 sync exchange calendar issue

After upgrading to iOS 6, i tried to add an exchange account for my google calendars. I end up in an endless loop of it asking for my password.
Completely delete account and start over only to end up in the same loop. It goes through all the setup, appears to be ok saves the account and then about 10 seconds later starts prompting me for a password...
All settings are correct (server is m.google.com) user name and password are correct.
thoughts?
thanks!

Still struggling with this!  From my iPhone (on iOs6) the calendar syncs just fine, also back to calendar in laptop.
In iPad calendar sync stopped happening yesterday some time. Tried many of the suggestions around, culminating in deleting Gmail account and re adding.
I notice that if I just add it with mail it works fine.
If I try to add with calendar or notes it will not work. Further, if I try to add calendar or notes AFTER adding account with just mail, it sits there saying "turning on calendars/notes" for ever. Nothing happens.
I can access all Google capabilities with Google iPad app, but that rather negates the benefit of having your calendar accessible in iPad when offline!
This is clearly an iOS6 and (quite likely iPad specific) issue.

  • Appointments emailed from iCloud calendar in Outlook are not received on IOS device using exchange calendar.

I email tons of appointment invitations from my iCloud calendar in Outlook.  Appointments synch to IOS devices and are on icloud.com.  People receive invitations in Outlook and on IOS devices.  My husband runs IOS devices with exchange calendars.  He never receives the appointment invitations.  All of the appointment invitations are on his iCloud.com account.  Can he synch to both exchange and iCloud?  WIll this allow him to see the invitations I send that are hung up in iCloud?

Could be a corrupt item, this usually fixes it if that is the case
    Backup device then in Outlook
    highlight calendar
    goto file import/export
    choose export to file
    choose Persoanl folder pst, next
make sure calendar is highlighted and choose subfolders if you have them, next
save to desktop with a name you can remember, Finish
    Click ok on screen popup
Go to view, arange by events
    delete all entries.
close outlook and any word files, open outlook back up after 15 seconds.
    Then
    goto file import/export
import from another program or file, next
    choose Persoanl folder pst, next
    find the file and import
    Choose highlight calendar and Finish
Change view back to what you want and try again.

  • Outlook Sync (Contacts/Calendar) Issues - Progress today........

    Folks,
I posted another earlier discussion on this topic over the weekend, but since I got my iPhone on Friday, I have probably burned about 20 hours working trying to figure out why I cannot sync my calendar and contacts from Office 2003 "OR" 2007 into my iPhone. When I started this process, 584 of my 1310 contacts did sync, I had NO luck on getting any of calendar items to sync.
Today we resolved the Contact issue!!! Still working on the calendar issues and if anyone has any further ideas, I am open to it, but it appears for both the contacts and calendar issues, I had corrupt data. You dont know it until encounter it this way.
Here is what you need to do in order to get the contacts to sync, it worked for me, hopefully it will work for many after me:
    1. Export "ALL" of your contacts to a .CSV (Comma Separated Value for Windows) file. Just export them to your desktop or somewhere easy to find them. As an extra safety net to ensure you dont lose your contacts, back them up also to a .XLS file as well as a .PST file.
    2. Delete "ALL" your contacts out of Outlook. Sync Outlook, especially if your like me and have your contacts and calendar on a corporate exchange server. Be sure you clear your iPhone so there is no contacts on it.
    3. Import the .CSV file to a VCARD file, sync to your coporate server, sync your iTunes and you should now see all your contacts.
Again, it worked for me and hopefully it works for you.
    Good Luck!!

    Everyone is waiting for this.
Right now you cannot sync locally between your phone and your desktop. You are forced to upload your contacts to another company's server (read "the cloud") and then download them from whatever device you didn't upload them from.
Still waiting for this fix please.

  • Sync Exchange calendar to iPhone via iCal on a Mac

My company uses Exchange 2007 for mail, contacts, calendar. Unfortunately, it does not support access to Exchange from the iPhone. For mail on the iPhone, I use the IMAP client which works well. For the contacts, Address Book can talk to our LDAP server. However, for calendar access, I'm stuck. I can see the Exchange events on my Mac iCal. Non-Exchange events sync across to the iPhone using MobileMe. The only way to get the Exchange events to the iPhone is via iTunes, which is not helpful since I don't want to have to do that continuously. Does anyone know how to sync Exchange events to an iPhone? Or any other solution?

I have the same problem - is there a solution?

  • Ipad exchange calendar issues.

    Afternoon all.
I'm having some trouble with the Exchange calendar on both my iPad Air and iPhone 5S.
I Can create calendar entries and invite attendees no problem.
the issue comes when those attendees accept or decline the invitation.
I receive an email stating which option they have closed but in the calendar entry itself the invitee is still listed under "No Response"
Has anyone else had this issue?
    Thanks in advance.

I have been having very similar issues to those described by Imola.  The calendar appears to try to load, and a few appointments may show up, but then they will all (or almost all) dissapear.  My company uses Exchange 2003.
Occassionally, deleting a large attachement has helped.  But not always.  Several times in the past, I have exported all my calendar entries as a .csv file, deleted all the calendar entries in Outlook, and then re-imported the .csv file.  While this always works to re-populate my calendar, it also strips functionality (like recurring appointments).
This is very frustrating, and results in me havinging to rely on my Blackberry while traveling, when I would like to just trust the data in the iPad.  A web search clearly shows that many people have this issue, but I have not yet seen any direct responses from Apple.  I hope this is addressed soon.

  • Iphone 5 not syncing exchange calendar

My iphone 5 is connected exchange 2010 server. It sends and recieves emails perfectly, but will not sync the calendar. It is completely blank and if I create a new event in it, it won't update to outlook. I have done several resets and checked that the exchange calendar is selected and is default.

Thanks James, however I have tried that numerous times. Even tried to restore the phone to factory settings however I am getting an error that prevents the restore. I'm starting to believe there is something wrong with the phone.

  • IOS 6 and Exchange Calendar Sync Issues

My company has been having several issues with iOS6 active sync and Exchange 2010 (sp2 ru4 v2).
    Issues:
    1. When an appointment is updated by the organizer the initial appointment does not update on the iOS device. Instead a 2nd appointment is created at the new time causing both appointments to be present.
    2. When an appointment is updated by the organizer the iOS device does not reflect the updated date / time. This seems to happen more than not with recurring events.
Does anyone know if apple is aware or what the procedure would be for me to open a case with them directlty? All iOS devices are fully updated (to avoid the tansaction log bug that was happening).

Same issue here Sam, with several users in our organization of about 2500 iPhone and iPad users, mostly iPhone.
I have been watching your post for over two weeks now and no one has responded.  Have you learned anything in the interim?
Unfortunately I have not, my many searches across the web have yielded no results that are relevant to the problem.

  • Exchange calendar issues after iOS 7.04 upgrade

Outlook 2007 clients on Exchange 2010 server cannot see time as booked for someone via the free busy scheduling assistant on an entry scheduled after 11 months.  Occurs only on users with iOs 7.04.  No other issues reported with 7.04 yet.  Has anyone else seen this?  Users doingthe scheduling can temporarily use OWA instead of Outlook.  Can be reproduced by having the 7.04 user create a repeating appointment with no end date, during their work hours.  Anyone can check their free busy time from the scheduling assistant and check each week or month for the next year.  Confirm directly from the calendar that the event is there with no end date.  The time is shown as busy up until approx. the 11 month.  Then after that the time is shown as free even though it is booked.  In the suggested times bar on the right, the time slot is not free.

Mine too has stopped after this update.  If you press and hold the home button, the screen that prompts "What can I help you with?" pops up but you never receive the audible tone that indicates you can speak.  A reboot corrects this on the first attempt to use siri but on the second attempts (and all others after) the problem returns.  This was after the 7.0.4 update.  This worked fine prior to this update.

  • HT4993 iPhone 4s IOS 6.1.1 Calendar issue

I upgraded my iPhone 4s to iOS 6.1.1 two days, after the upgrade, my calendar is not working correctly. Any event which is not created by me could not be edited, As soon as I open the event, I get either to "decline", "MAyBe" or "Accept" option. Even after press any option, I open again and get the same option. Any suggestions? This seems to be bug in the new release.

The response from Apple Engineering which is not a Apple like response:
"Apple Engineering did respond saying this is a known issue, and that at this point it is something that will be addressed in a software update in the future with a software update.  Let me know if theres anything else I can assist you with"
It seems to me that iOS 6.1.1 has more issues then fixes.

  • IPhone/Exchange Calendar issue

I have an original iPhone connecting to an exchange 2003 server. E-mail is working correctly but the calendar sync is pushing new events. If an event is created on the iPhone it will push to outlook (2007) however if an event is created in outlook it does not push to the iPhone. Also, if there is an event deleted in outlook it will push delete on the iPhone. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thank you!

I was having the same problem and managed to fix this by going into the settings on the iphone, mail/contacts/calendars, the exchange account, and turned OFF the Calendar switch and then back on... I went straight to the calendar and all was gone on the iphone and minutes later all was there and all was now working both ways...
    Give it a go.

  • IOS 5.1 Exchange Password Issue

I have searched and read serveral forums lately about this issues however I've been unable to figure out a soultion.  It seems every morning the iOS 5 will get a password prompt saying the exchange password is incorrect.  When I go to work and connect to the wireless at work my email will start to work, at the end of the day when I go home the email still works on the iPad 2, it's only the next day it won't work.  Now, I have another iPad running iOS 4.3.5 that is also configured with my Exchange account and always works at home (I never take it too work), no issues.  I have compared the settings (domain, email server, etc) and they are both correct.  The only difference that I can see is one is running iOS5 and the other is running iOS 4.
I have also tried the following:
    - disabled iCloud account
    - created the Exchange account serveral times <-  When I do this evern at home, it will always work afterwards, it's not till the next day that I get an error message the password is incorrect.
    - Reset the iPad 2, didn't setup iCloud during the setup, setup Exchange - email will work until the next day.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on what I can do for this to work correctly on iOS 5?
    James

I solved my the problem by creating another account in Exchange, then open up iCloud change the default email address to this new email address and everything started to work fine on the iPad.
Since we don't use iCloud and I can't delete the account, this was the simpliest solution.

  • Synced Google Calendar issue

I have my iPhone4 synced to my Google account to pull Google calendars.  I have 3 calendars.  One of them I DO NOT want to be connected.  I repeatedly uncheck it from the Calendars list and after a seemingly random amount of time, my iPhone re-checks the calendar.  I also get push notifications from this calendar, which I do not want.  Is there any way to keep this calendar unchecked for good (without unsyncing my Google account) or stop having just that calendar send push notifications?
Hope I was clear with this.
    Basically:
3 calendars from 1 Google account are synced.
I only want 2 of these calendars.
    I uncheck the 3rd one.
iPhone rechecks the 3rd one by itself.
I also receive push notifications from the 3rd calendar, even when unchecked. I do not want this.

Nuevasync bloged about the issue (the app have to make a full resync)

  • Exchange synchronzing issues

My Exchange information will not sync at all. There are no errors, no messages, no nothing - literally. No address book, no calendar, no notes, no e-mail account info, no nothing - literally. I sure hope Apple can help with this. Is it possibly some sort of security issue? Since I could not get information off my old Simm in my old phone and I could not get my Exchange/Outlook Address book to sync, I had to create an Outlook Express address book to dump information from my old phone into, and then change the iPhone to sync to Outlook Express. This finally worked. If this helps others get information around, great, but I still want to solve this Exchange sync problem.

Exchange is only supported as an email server. iPhone
does not currently sync Exchange calendars, contacts,
    or tasks over the air.
To sync your Exchange calendars and contacts, you'll
need to use iTunes to sync iPhone with Microsoft
Outlook on a PC or Microsoft Entourage on a Mac.
Someone from Apple please correct me if this is wrong.
Actually, I use Entourage on MacBook Pro as client using my company's MS Exchange 2000 server to track email, calendar events & tasks, contacts, and notes. In the Entourage Preferences (Sync Settings) I have selected the 3 check boxes to synch contacts with Address Book and .Mac; iCal and .Mac; and Notes with .Mac.
My iPhone then syncs using .Mac as the conduit and picks up the contacts and calendar events & tasks. I haven't yet been able to sync the notes however.
