IOS 6 twitter integration - permission list mess

... not sure how it was on iOS 5, may be you could delete apps from the permission list for twitter. Now you can only turn them on or off. Okay the thing is that I could tweet from an app (lemonde.fr) using the integrated twitter interface in iOS without being prompted to allow it. Weirder is that I could tweet but still, the app doesn't appear in twitter's permission list on iOS, but it does in the allowed apps list in twitters's own web interface (from a PC's browser). And it does appear there as an app having been allowed from iOS, so there's no way to revoke it from there. This should be normal as one can only revoke access from twitter to iOS globally only. But again, why doesn't this app appear on iOS in the twitter settings permission list ???

adding: forget about the permission prompt, if you wanna tweet from an app, it obvously means that you allow it. Remains that it should appear in twitter's permission list and it doesn't.

this is what i miss in the facebook app and why the google plus app is better than the fb app.

Facebook and Twitter integration not working

I'm have trouble using Facebook and Twitter integration in Mountain Lion. When I click 'Click to Tweet', or 'Click to Post', nothing happens; I don't get the notecard looking thig, and it's like I never clicked the button. Same thing with sharing from an app, except for Twitter. I receive notifications from both just fine, but I'm unable to post. I can tweet something from the sharing menu (link to a webpage with Safari, for example), but I cannot send a tweet using the 'Click to Tweet' button in Notification Center. Also, I cannot post to Facebook by neither sharing nor the 'Click to Post' button. So far I have tried sharing with Safari, Finder, and Preview, all with the same results. (Facebook sharing with iPhoto does work, but I don't believe that is integrated with OS X.)
I have also tried the following, with no luck:
Checked my settings on the Facebook and Twitter sites.
Removed my acounts and re-added them.
Obviously, my internet connection is working.
Added my Facebook account to the 'Guest User' account, and another administrator account.
Had a friend add his Facebook account to his own (limited) account on my computer--he could not post to Facebook either.
I believe the last two things I tried indicate that this is a system-wide problem. A couple more things to note: 1) there is no kind of error message; it just sits there, like nothing happend, no 'spinning wheel' or anything. 2) It DID work before. Twitter worked when I first upgraded to Mountain Lion, and Facebook worked when I installed the 10.8.2 update. I don't use either often enough to know when exactly they stopped.

It's been driving myself crazy with this over the past few days, and can't seem to find an answer anywhere. I also seem to be the only one with this problem.

First, I would eject whatever it is that you downloaded. Go to Finder and eject it that way or depending how you have your system set up, do the two finger tap and Eject it. Download the link above. Once it downloads, double click it to install it. It should work. If it doesn't you need to use your Disk Utility to check for errors. Click your Finder again and then Applications. Scroll down to Utilities and then Disk Utility. Click on your hard drive and you will get a menu of items on the right side. Towards the bottom, you will see a button to Verify Disk Permissions. Click that and let it run. It may take a few minutes to finish. Once it's finished there may be a list of things wrong with your system. Click the Repair Permissions and let the computer do it's thing. Use Disk Utility at least once a month to make sure everything is in order on your system. If this doesn't fix it, I don't have any other suggestions. I'd hate to say do a fresh install but that might be the next step if this doesn't work.
Something else to consider is that is if you use Time Machine and the system did work at one point, you could go back to the last known good point and reinstall that back-up. You would lose anything you have saved since that point (obviously). If you take steps to back up your information, that should not be an issue. (For me), Time Machine works as advertised. If you are not backing system up regularly, shame on you. You need to start ASAP backing up. It's an easy process and it's times like you are having now, that make the small preventive maintenance, worth extra time and effort.

How to create permission list in PSFT 8.48

I want to create permission list in peoplesoft 8.48 version. I am following the below steps as mentioned in PSFT User Management guide for OIM.
1. Open a Web browser and enter the URL for PeopleSoft Internet Architecture. The URL is in the following format:
http://IPADDRESS:PORT/psp/ps/?cmd=login
For example:
http://172.21.109.69:9080/psp/ps/?cmd=login
2. In the PeopleSoft Internet Architecture window, click PeopleTools, Security, Permissions & Roles, and then click Permission Lists.
3. Click Add a new Value. On the Add a New Value tab, enter the permission list name, for example, OIMUM and then click Add.
But in step 2, I didnt find link to click for Permission Lists. When I click Permissions & Roles, i can see only one link which is Edit "Permissions & Roles" Folder. How to proceed with step 2 and step 3??

PS and VP1 are superusers in vanilla PeopleSoft.
What application are you using, HCM, FSCM, Portal, CRM.
Try logging in with user VP1 password VP1.
or try running Portal Security Sync through menu PeopleTools, Portal, Portal Security Sync (if you can see this menu item and the process scheduler is running ...)

you mean to hide the PeopleTools menu? If so, mke sure (s)he does not have the permision list that grants the pemission you don't want him/her to have.

How do I get twitter integration working in lion?

How do I 'turn on' twitter integration in Lion? I've seen loads of blogs saying it's built into lion all you have to do is install the official twitter app. Well I've installed it and have it open. I two finger click on some text and there is no option to tweet like I keep seeing photos of or reading about. The only option is "add to itunes as spoken track"
Do I have to 'turn it on'?
I've gone through all the preferences in the twitter app and looked through system preferences but can't see anything related to it.

There is no built-in Twitter support. When you install the third-party Twitter client, it provides a service (i.e., a contextual menu) that appears when you right-click or control-click on a text selection in any application that supports services. The text is copied into a new "tweet." If you're not seeing that menu in any application, go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Keyboard Shortcuts > Services, locate the "Tweet" item, and select it. Optionally, you can assign it a keyboard shortcut. If the client is installed but the service doesn't work, you'll have to get support from the Twitter developers.

IOS Game Center Integration?

Director 12 supports iOS Game Center integration but there is no documentation. The only documentation I have seen is this in 'Director Help / What's new for Director 12' http://helpx.adobe.com/director/using/whats-new-director-12.html

No explanation of structure or functions, nada. Anyone even try to do Game Center integration in a Director 12 iOS app?

After updating to iOS 6.0 everything is a mess. i cant get in my CO app game, imessages undelivered, worst of all i cant connect to Apps store. If u were able to solve this pls let me know. or if possible to return to old OS 5.1 that is much better. HELP!

I had the same experience with a new iPhone 5 that I bought last week. Did not have a chance to measure battery life before the 6.0.2 upgrade installed but I set up my phone exactly like my 4S and immediately started running out of power after short periods. Went to Xmas get together with fully charged 5 and 4S. Heading home the iPhone 5 shut down for low battery and the 4S had 65% power. Both phones had two half phone calls on then and no data usage.
That night I fully charged the iPhone 5 and, without lighting it up, put it on my night table. Next morning I picked it up and looked at battery indicator and I had 42% charge with NO activity!
Tried it again next night and wound up with 37% charge. (Slept longer).
Today I called the carrier and reactivated the 4S. Took the 5 to Apple Store and they kindly gave me choice of new replacement phone or refund. I took the refund. Uniquely, the Apple Store said it was Verizon CDMA phones that were coming back.
The are other strings on this with temporary solutions, but from my experience with 7 firmware changes on an HTC 4G phone the problem will continue because the solution will be hardware caused. We are in the days where RTM means Rush to Market - not Release To Manufacturing.
I fear the only solution is to either wait for the next model (I did not notice a really major change in performance over the 4S in LTE heavy Seattle area) - or switch to another manufacturer.
It might be useful for these forums to indicate if you have a GSM or CDMA phone to see which have more problems.

Problem with Facebook & Twitter integration in OS X Mountain Lion

I recently downloaded OS X Mountain Lion from App Store, everything went okay until the next few days I noticed that Facebook and Twitter integration doesn't seems to work anymore. Whenever I clicked on 'Click to tweet or post', nothing happened. Help me..Thanks.

Same issue on my machine, OSX 10.8.2, mid-2010 MBP 13-inch
Nothing happens when clicking on "Click to Tweet" & "Click to Post" on the Notification area.
Have done the "Remove all website data" and "Reset Safari" procedure, but to no avail.
Sharing button on Safari works. It's only the buttons on the Notification Area that do not work.

Unable to save component interface in permission list

When I add a component interface in a permission list and then save it, it gets saved.But, when i open the permission list again, the component interface which I added does'nt show up.I'm trying to do this using the Peoplesoft superuser login id.Please suggest what might be the issue?

Cannot do Facebook/Twitter integration through Mail, Contacts

I cannot do facebook or twitter integration using the system preferences panel "Mail, Contacts & Calendars". After entering the correct User Name and Password, it takes a minute or so and then IA_ERROR_BAD_CREDS shows up under the passwords box. I know that both the username and pw are correct. This happens for both twitter and facebook.
Console has this to say:

Other ways of integrating also fail. For example, Safari will sometime offer a dropdown window:
"Would you like to allow other OS X applications to use this Twitter Account?
You can allow or disallow the use of this account later in your System Preferences."
When I press "Allow", this will hang indefinitely with a spinnning icon next to "Setting up Account". The only way out is to close the Safari window from the File menu.

Twitter integration official Twitter-app

Hi guys,
Today I installed Mountain Lion, what a great OS!
I've a question regarding the Twitter integration. When I click on the notification I get about an mention, Safari opens and goes to www.twitter.com and requires me to login. I never use Twitter.com an my password is too difficult to remember :-). Is there a possibility to open the mention or message in the official Twitter-app? It would be great if this is possible.
Is it also possible to disable the sound when you've send a tweet? I can only disable the sound for incoming messages.

I've my Twitter account details filled in at Mail, contacts & Calanders. I see my mentions in the notification center, however, when I click on the mention I have to enter my account details again at twitter.com.
