IOS 6 update, no music on iptouch
Put the update IOS 6 on the Ipod Touch, it runs..., but i cant put the music from itunes to the ipod!
I tried again again again... but nothing happend!
Whats wrong?

I recently saw that all the settings were set to default, so you have to decide which playlist, artists, titles you would like to sync to your iPhone. But I have an additional problem: in the past I "saw" the not selected titles on my iPhone, but since upgrade to IOS6 these interprets were no longer available! Additionally some of my titles bought in the iTunes store have the sign "not useable for iCloud". What a mess!
Somebody with an useful idea?

I've just installed the new software update on my ipod touch 2G and now every time I lock the screen the music stops for a split second! The same happens when the music screen is opened?
Anyone else have the same problem and/or solution?!I am having the same problem. I usually fall asleep listening to Pandora. I sit my Touch in my docking station and then lock the screen and fall asleep. It usually plays all night. Well, I noticed that when I locked it last night, it was "skipping". Well, I played with it a bit, and finally just fell asleep. When I woke up this morning, there was no music, and when I unlocked it, it was back on the home screen. Very weird, if you ask me.

After updating to IOS 5, my music doesn't download
Ever since I updated my iPad to iOS 5 the music I have since purchased does not download. The store downloads it from the cloud, but it is not in iTunes when I go to play it. Checking in the store again says it is not downloaded. Does anyone know what the problem is?
Also, video I purchased from another site is not downloading. I have purchased, downloaded, and played video from that site before.My iPad 2 did exactly the same thing as yours, as the others did, I wiped my iPad 2 back to factory default, and then restored from an iCloud backup, re-downloaded & reinstalled the new iOS 5.1 update, and then my iMessage started working again with my Apple ID. I guess it must be some glitch with the new iOS after installed, but the wipe of the ipad2 and iCloud restore and redownload worked for me. Hope you can get you iMessage working again soon!!!

I deleted my music through the "manage storage" section in the options to make room for the ios update awhile back. Now I can't get any music back onto my device through itunes. (I've tried restoring the device twice to no avail)
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Just downloaded the 7.1.1 IOS update and I'm able to stream my music from the cloud. I'm wondering how I can stream more than just my purchased music?And does this use up data? Also, how can I get playback to stop pausing for periods of time? It is a wifi thing??
If streaming music when connected to your carrier's cellular network, it uses cellular data.
Only the music you purchased from the iTunes Store can be streamed unless you have purchased iTunes Match.
If there is a slow down at the server where the music is stored or high traffic, steaming can be paused. You can also download a song from the iTunes Store cloud to your iPhone so it doesn't need to be steamed. -
I recently updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 6. Now I can not install application updates, my music library has vanished, iTunes Match (in Settings) keeps setting itself to "Off". I have also logged off of iTunes in Settings, and it will not let me log back in. Just a few moments ago when I again tried to log into iTunes, it asked me for my Password, then replyed that I had no Match account; but I do. Is Restore the best option?

I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more. And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should. On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much. I will post a note in the app store to let them know. I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again. -
How can i stop loosing all my videos, music, pics etc after an IOS update? PLEASE can somebody help me as i've lost everthing the last time i proceeded with this update so this time my mam thought she was doing the right thing by updating my phone!! :C
everything should be on your computer.
If you do as you should and make sure that everything is on your computer, then you should lose nothing. -
iPhone 4 won't work with any music docking station. I have tried it on a Bose system and orbit. This has only happened since the last 2 iOS update. Appreciate any help .

If you mean when you do an iOS update via iTunes, no it shouldn't. The update and the synch are two separate activities if you set to manual.
If that is a concern, you do not have to connect to iTunes to do an iOS update as of v. 5. -

Are disabled could any one plz help me for thiswhen phone is connected to itunes for restoring, it's started restoring but after few minutes it's cancelled restoring again n again, at least more than 10 to 13 time i sync the device then it's complete all backup done in device, but problem remain same. All App's close automatically. what should i do now.

How do I fix the album art on my iPod? It has been scrabbled due to the iOS update.
My iPod touch 5th generation has had two problems come up since the iOS update; I regret updating because I was happy with how it was before. The album art has been scrabbled on my iPod; it has placed album art that goes with other songs to the wrong song or has album art I've never seen before. My iPod also has a problem with music now. I've noticed that I am unable to play music that I once could. Some have an iCloud or stop symbol next to it and I can not listen to them. I notice that while it plays my music on shuffle, while looking at the screen and song, it will skip through about 2-5 or more songs as if it's not allowed to play it. I am very irratated with these problems. Everything was all dandy before these updates. Any feedback would be very helpful and I thank you.

I have a brand new ipod touch 32gb ipod touch. Upgraded to ios 7. open music app but there is no radio tab to select!!! All online help just says, "just select it".
I have looked at the "More" part but again radio is not an option.

As with all clickwheel iPods, you can reset this iPod by first toggling the hold switch on and off and then simultaneously pressing the select (center) and menu buttons for approximately 5-10 seconds. This is a common fix should your iPod behave unexpectedly or lock up. Once reset, the iPod should display an Apple logo for a few seconds before showing the main menu. This procedure is similar to rebooting a computer and damages none of your music or data. -
After ios update volume controls not working
After updating to iOS 7.0.4, when I unlock my phone, the volume buttons no longer work, Ringer window just shows as grey. Volume works fine to adjust ringer when receiving a call, also works fine within apps. However, key tones (clicks) no longer function. Also, can no longer power off the phone, it just restarts.
Tried a hard reset (hold power and home, see apple, release). no change
Tried to erase all content and settings and setup as new phone, no change
Also noticed that Friend Finder no longer plays notifications - IE when a contact leaves or arrives from or to a certain location. Worked fine before the iOS update. Even tried uninstalling, hard reset, re-installing Friend Finder, no change.
Problem is intermittent. It seems to fix itself throughout the day.
Someone suggested replacing the charge port on the phone but I find it hard to believe that the charge port mechanically failed directly after the update to 7.0.4.

Yesterday i decided i wanted music on my phone and decided to sync my phone to my itunes and computer..
But lets backtrack first... Earlier in the day i decided to plug a (non iphone heaphone into the headphone port) and much to my ssureprise it worked (all ive ever dealt with is blackberry) unplugged the headphones and a few hours later this is where i synced my phone tried to play music an GASP nothing..in the music app the volume nubs are gray and cannot be moved left or right and no sound is being heard.. also when i tried to check to see if my ringer was going up and down it was displaying the little speaker but not the bar that moves. Read the discussions here and it seemed that we've all been screwed now i love my iphone and all its features only phone ive ever wanted but i would love this to be fixed.

Changing everything imaginable in Setting and nothing has worked
Making a voicenote and i actually got sound and my ringer started to work! YAY right.. WRONG
Cleaning it with nail polish removeer

Why can't I have the sound back after the IOS update?
Since the last IOS update my iPad does the lock rotation or mute, not both like in the previous version! I want to be able to use both features and I just can't and it's frustrating... Also my Facebook just stop working. I deleted and installed again but it just keeps closing. I really would appreciate some help with my problems. Thanks!
Have you verified that the side switch setting is set to what you want it to control?

Also check the setting in Control Center (swipe up from above the Home button) as well (rightmost icon on the top row).
For the Facebook crashing, try this:
Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.
If that has no effect, try deleting the Facebook App, then download & reinstall it.
