I just updated my iphone from 5.1.1 to ios 6, if turn on my wifi ant tap on it to connect there displays a log in window with the site from apple on it with "hmm, the page you're looking for can't be found." is there a way to fix this?

Why don't you try some basic troubleshooting instead of ranting about how someone else should solve a problem that's specific to YOUR phone.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Iphone 4 (White MC604FB) Update iOs 6.0 - Wifi Problem and iphone bug when trying to unlock on call receive. Is this a known bug ?

Dear Members (and Apple Team)
I have two iphones 4 and two bugs on the white one
1/ Is the first gen (Black)
2/ Is the second gen (White MC604FB)
I both uptdated the into Update iOs 6.0 -
Bug 1 : With the white iPhone 4 i have a real Wifi Problem, as close as 5 to 7 meters from any WiFi spot, i lose the signal, where my "black" iphone at the same time and same distance shows full signal (and tested with safari.... works).
Bug 2 : Once the white iphone is in "stand by" when trying to unlock on incoming call, the touch screen works and receive the touch information, but it bugs on trying to unlock to receive the call. (very very anoying :o) have to call back almost every time.
Are those already known bugs ? Is there a fix ?

Thanks for your prompt reply.
I did restore before posting, in evry possible way. no improvment.
I have 24H ago updated to iOS 6.01. So far no more "screen jam" on incoming calls, but the wifi is still inconsistent with very poor signal strenght (compare to my black iphone 4)
PS : For information, did beleive there was two versions of iphone 4 (In Europe ) :
1/ Is firts generation "gen" with With board MC603FB
2/ The white one for me with board MC604FB

How come they still haven't fixed the ios 6 wifi problem on ios 6.0.1 making me mad -.-

I know apple or the tech support doesn't read this but come on tell them to fix the wifi problem that started from ios 6 and still continuing to ios 6.0.1. I already gave them another feedback like 5 days ago. I really don't want to reconnect to my wifi everytime. I already did everything possibly to fix my wifi problem. I know its IOS 6.0.1 because it started with ios 6 and still not fixed by apple update to 6.0.1.
I have a very limit data plan of 300 MB on at&t and I don't want to go over so I rely on my wifi most of the time.

I thought I believed my iPhone 4 with iOS5.0 would not disconnect during sleep mode. However, I was wrong. What I did was to ping the IP addresses on my iPhone 4 (iOS5) and iPhone 5 (iOS 6 then, and iOS6.0.1 now) when they were in sleep mode. Very true that there were timed-out on both devices. Once I woke them up, ping went thru. I did a scan on my home network using my iPad while the other 2 phones were in sleep mode, I was not able to see them.
I thought my iPhone4 did not disconnect too. But again, I think the reconnecting to wifi on iOS 5 is SO MUCH quicker than on iOS6 so user would think there was never a disconnect.

Is someone SURE of where is the wifi problem on iPhone 4S?

I'm a little sick of this. I don't know for how many time I'll have the wifi problem. I'm just unhappy because I bought this device with my illusion and I have this, i think, serious problem.
I just want to know if someone knows, for sure, if the problem is from software or hardware.

I red that it could be iOS 5. Someone wrote that he downgraded his device, worked fine and failed again when upgrading it ti iOS 5.

HOW TO FIX iOS 6 WiFi Problem

I have a 3GS and this FIXED my WiFi issue.
**Please Note: This will permanetly delete your current Safari History and whatever websites you have open on your iPhone.
1.) Go to SETTINGS
2.) Go to SAFARI
3.) Push "Clear History"
4.) Push "Clear Cookies and Data"
5.) Shutdown your iPhone (for at least 1 minute).
6.) Restart iPhone
7.) Go to SETTINGS
8.) Go to WIFI
9.) Choose your WiFi Network
I helped a friend with a 4S and this also solved her WiFi problem.

Ios 7 wifi issues with iphone 5 and iphone 4s

I downloaded and installed ios 7 on 3 iphones and an ipad on Thursday. initially after install all devices wouldn't connect to my homes wifi (but other devices in the home are connected and can access the internet with no issue) I rebooted each device and was able to connect problem soved. WRONG this has been an on going issue, most of the time my devices wont even see my wifi network and when they do, I still can't connect. I have reset wifi settings, I have double checked passwords, I have rebooted the IOS devices and rebooted the router (which was likely not needed as my 2 apple tv's, windows 7 laptop, windows 8 laptop and 2 imacs all are connected with no problem as wel as my ps3, and sony smart tv.
So, 1) is anyone else experiencing this issue 2) have you found a way to resolve the issue 3) has anyone gotten a response from apple support i.e. is this s known issue and are they working on an update to resolve.
I guess my gut instinct to wait a few weeks to install ios was right and I should have listened to my gut

I agree, Bluetooth is rubbish since 4.2 The phone won't connect properly with my carkit Parrot ck3000 evolution, when the iPhone 4 connects to the the carkit it resets the volume on the carkit to minimum volume. so every time you get in the car you have to manually set the volume!. fix this Apple and when your at it fix the wifi reception on it too its woeful! For all the mouthing Apple does on their features on the phone, it's pretty weak as a phone!

To troubleshoot issues with connecting via Wi-Fi start with these steps:
Be sure you're in range of your Wi-Fi router (access point).
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and turn Wi-Fi off and on. If your Wi-Fi setting is dimmed, follow these steps.
Confirm that your Wi-Fi router and cable or DSL modem are connected to power, turned on, and connected to the Internet. If not, refer to your network administrator or Internet service provider (ISP) for assistance.
Restart your iOS device.
Tap Settings > Wi-Fi and locate the Wi-Fi network to which you're connected.
Tap and Forget this Network.
Try to connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Note: You may need to enter your Wi-Fi password again if your network requires one.
Turn your Wi-Fi router off and on2. If your ISP also provides cable or phone service, check with them before attempting this step to avoid interruption of service.
Update your device to the latest version of software.
Update your Wi-Fi router to the latest firmware2. For AirPort Base Stations, install updates using the AirPort Utility.
If you still experience these random disconnects from your Wi-Fi network, please follow below:
Move closer to the Wi-Fi router (access point).
Check for sources of potential interference.

IOS 8.2 problems my iPhone 4S

Since upgrading IOS from 8.1 to 8.2 last week, the following problems have appeared on my otherwise very reliable iPhone 4S.
1. Device refuses to join all wifi networks at home or office or public (gives unable to join message)
2. MDI network that enables me to use iPhone on my VW Jetta stopped working
I tried resetting network first and then resetting the whole iPhone but I was not able to fix the problem. Finally I went ahead and downgraded to IOS 8.1.3 and everything went back to normal. Yesterday, I decided to upgrade to IOS8.2 and now the same problems are back again.
Any suggestions before I downgrade back to 8.1.3? Is the 4S too old for the IOS 8.2? Hope it is not some form of forced obsolescence they were taking about...

I've had similar problems! occasionally it will join to wifi at home most of the time I have to turn my phone on and off for it to work for that day! no longer works anywhere public says its joined and have the wifi symbol but everyone I try to use the Internet it says no interenet yet everyone else I'm with has no problems and I never had problems before the update! I have no idea why! also this update deleted all my apps and data even though my phone was backed up it won't restore (whether this is related to my internet problem not sure) hope it gets sorted for you and me! please someone help us!

Have same problem on my 3G after update to version 4.0.
Must be beside my router to get connection, otherwise no signal at all.
Before I could be in garden 10-15 meters away with almost full signal strenght.
Works fine with Nokia N95 and several Laptops.
How to download old version 3?
I was stupid and didn't save copy of old version
Have tried every thing possible and impossible to solve the issue.
New with IPHONE and it looks like this will be my last one!
