IOS 7.0.2 has major caused major glitches on my 4S! Grrr...wish I hadn't updated it. Is it possible to go back and uninstall the update?
Ever since I updated my 4S to IOS 7.0.2 my phone suddenly is off. My music just randomly stops playing. My what'sapp and text messages will suddenly show the text box but no send button, thus not allowing me to send unless I power off or occasionally wait a few minutes. My emails are arriving on my computer but not on my phone. I don't understand! I wish I hadn't updated. What can be done to alleviate the frustration? Any suggestions out there?

As for the downgrade Sorry, but Apple does not provide a downgrade path for iOS.
Because downgrading is unsupported by Apple we cannot discuss it on these forums, but you can use Google to find information on how to install an older version of iOS on any device.

Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. It sounds like you are constantly needing to restore your phone because it keeps going into recovery mode. Usually putting a device into recovery mode and restoring it can help isolate an issue to your iPhone hardware if an issue persists afterwards. I would try manually putting it into recovery mode and restoring it 1 more time:

IOS 6.1.3 / Windows 7 - 64 bit. I am connecting my IPhone 4 to my Windows desktop, in ITunes I click on IPhone and then the "Check for Update" tab. It takes me to a Windows explorer window. How do I get it to find updates?

Try using the Software Update on your iPhone by going to Settings > General > Software Update. One thing to keep in mind if you are trying it on the computer is to make sure that you are not pressing any keys down when checking for updates as that may bring up a pop up window to find the update file.

after downloading new version of Firefox 4 I am unable to use touch pad for scrolling. I have tried installing and uninstalling the new version but this problem has always been occuring. I do not know how to fix this problem so I always return to the old version.
If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

I have a friend who I was helping out with his iPhone. He has since lost it. I believe I backed it up to my machine but have no idea where to find it. Is it possible to find it and read the back-up file without the original device being connected?
If he gets another device - you should be able to restore it from your computer to the point where you backed it up

I'm always reading and hearing that updating software causes problems with lost data, non communication between ipod/phone and computer. Has anyone sucessfully instyalled the latest update, I'm afraid to?

I am just trying to delete my account and uninstall the program. Adobe has me jumping through hoops.
I just want to cancel my membership because I don't want the entire Creative Cloud on my Macbook. (Please don't try to convince me otherwise. WARNING! - Multicam has MAJOR FLAW in Premiere Pro CS6!!!!!!
When you are using Premiere Pro CS6, and you are editing a multicam sequence and you hit PAUSE or STOP, Premiere CS6 makes a cut in your timeline and then changes shots back to the original shot whether you want it to or not!!! This forces users to go back and fix the un-intended cuts later which is a HUGE time waster. The thread below was started tracking the issue and then suddenly LOCKED by Adobe with a FALSE correct answer as the issue is NOT fixed! The answer is only an attempt at a workaround which DOES NOT work for everyone as pointed out in the thread and the thread should NOT have been locked as the MAJOR FLAW still persists and has persisted for years. Final Cut Pro, Avid, FCPX do NOT have this issue. Premiere Pro CS6 does.

Thought I'd reply to this seen as no one else has, I am also experiencing very similar problems with my 4s and by the looks of it is it's across all handsets. I've never had any battery issues with my iPhone even 7.0.6 was fine, but since updating to 7.1 the battery is ticking down very fast. I fully charged in the morning and left it in my locker all day at work when I got my hands on it it's gone down to 52% just on its own!!
I really hope they sort this out fast the irony is 7.1 was supposed to help battery life! -
Exported footage has major interlaced lines!
Hi, I was hoping somebody could help me with this encoding problem.
I'm using Premiere Pro CS4 and when I export my video using the "MPEG2-DVD PAL Progressive Widescreen High Quality" preset, the resulting video has major interlaced lines when playing back on my DVD player. I confirmed the progressive option was selected in the advanced video options.
I'm not sure what could be causing this since the source footage is supposed to be progressive (HDCPRO HD at 720p) and all the project and sequence settings are progressive. Here's the details:

When I export the footage using upper lines (instead of progressive) they play back fine on my DVD player.
Any ideas to what could be causing the interlaced lines when exporting as progressive?

I made a DVD that was 16:9 and played it on my old dvd player ...and watched it on old tv. It CROPPED the 16:9 frame !
Playing on my computer it was fine...as I have a flat widescreen...
But I wanted to watch this video while sitting on my couch, on TV , as I was making final decisions about the edit and making notes (stopping , starting, etc )
My DVD player and tv combo does not have the option to go to a 16:9 format...so it was cropping the frame and was bad news.
To fix this I had to open a new project as 4:3 and put the 16:9 video into that project...and scale it to fit the 4:3...which gave it black bars on top and bottom....and exported mpeg 2 dvd...burned dvd etc.
NOW when I put it on my tv it was lettebox and I could see the whole frame etc...
So, in essence I forced it to be letterbox for an older dvd and tv...
If this is something you want to consider with your pal project it doesnt take long to make that happen...
playing the first export ( 16:9 ) on NEW tv ( widescreen ) ...was fine by the way...
