IOS 7.0.4 broke my photos and videos when I sync - Apple Support, do you've any answer/solution??
When I sync my photos to iPhone 5s and iPad Mini retina, iOS 7.0.4 its broke my photos. What's is happening? When Apple is going to solve this serious problem? I made a facory reset and the problem persist. Affortunatelly photos are OK and safe in my Mac but this issue scares, because photos and videos belong to unforgettable memories. I'm user of Apple for more than 12 years, I have had all versions of iPhone and iPad, and never had this kind of problems.\
I were in an Apple store, they told me that I've to restore as a new iPhone and iPad but the problem persist.
1. Has anyone any solution?
2. Apple Support people or Customer Management, please, could you give some answer about that?

This means that when I try to see synced photos in my IPhone or iPad the photos appears with lines of shadows, with some parts in green, with some pixels in black and white, some lines in white, etc. I never had this kind of problems, my photos are ok in my Mac and it's happening with old photos and photos that I took a week ago (so, this is not a problem with photos taken with my new iPhone, this a problem with all my photos when I sync it to those devices).
On the other hand, when I play my videos, the videos stop and play, freezing images and not reproducing images and voice simultaneously.
Please, let me know if you need further information.

On the computer go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and see if a backup is listed. If no backup then unless you backet up to iCloud then, as I said my first reply:

All media and apps on the device should already be in iTunes on the computer.
If you have forgotten the restrictions passcode, the ONLY option is to restore as new.
Then sync back any media, apps, contacts, etc back to the device.
You can not restore from backup as the restrictions passcode is included in the backup. -

No, there are no gurantees. The capabilitty exists to retrive deleted data from an iPhone, but like many things in life it is not 100% successful all the time. Be careful, there are a lot of scam artists out there. They take your money & retrive nothing. This guy is one of the best in the business, but he does not work for people in the private sector. There is no way to view your photos via iCloud.com. Videos are not uploaded.
Photo Stream merely "pushes" the photos to your other devices. -

Ipod is blocked, connect with itunes, but when i connect to itunes it says i have to use my passcode, and when i dont do that it links me to a page on how to access recovery mode but that will delete all the files on the device. is it possible to get the photos from my ipod to my pc? You do not.
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Hello all,
So I was organising my photos and videos on my iPhone 4s and wanted to delete them from my camera roll once I had moved them to new folders. When I tried to delete them from my camera roll it asked if I wanted to 'delete from everywhere'. Not knowing what this button did I pressed it and have now lost all the copies of those photos and videos I had taken!!!
Is there any way of retrieving them off of my iPhone? Is there like a recycle bin type folder where all the deleted data has gone to from where I can recover it?

I can't download photos and videos from my iphone

I have iPhone 4 with iOS 5. Can't download photos and videos from my iphone because my PC doesn't see it. Also my camera roll doesn't show right thumbnails and when i open a photo it shows it in low resolution. Only after i start editing it shows the photo itself in original resolution. iTunes recognises my phone but freezes on back up. When i updated my phone to ios 5 everything was wiped clear and i lost all of data that was in it. Please help me, i do not want to lose my data again.
I plugged it in to another pc (win7) but no files in DCIM.appears to be one of the bugs associated with ios 5 that need to be worked out. (i had a problem where I had music on my phone, the phone didn't recognize the music but the computer could find it)
While I don't know how to fix the immediate problem, I have a workaround that will get you past this if you are willing...
My suggestion is to turn on icloud and photostream on your iphone, and download and install the icloud control panel on your pc found here

take a "picture" (quickly press the home button and lock button at the same time) of each picture on your device so they show up in your camera roll and will sync to your photostream cloud. This will in turn cause your pc to download the photos from your photostream cloud via the icloud control panel. Your photos will be on your computer, and you will never have to sync your phone to get photos off your iphone again. -
URGENTLY need to get back photos and videos my daughter deleted...
On the weekend my two year old has somehow deleted or reset my husband’s mobile which has wiped everything from the phone. My biggest concern is the 2,500+ photos and videos of our families memories. Unfortunately he had not linked it to itunes or download the files or linked to iclouds. Is there anyway PLEASE of getting these photos and videos back??!! Do you know of a program we can use? Im desperate to get these back as these are the only pics of my daughter from the last 2yrs.

There are several lessons here.
Back up. Often. Apple has made backing up the iPhone brain dead simple. It will either back up to your computer every time you plug it in to sync with iTunes, or it can back up to iCloud on a daily basis with no user interaction at all so long as it's connected to WiFi and a power source.
Electronic devices fail. It's not a matter of if it will happen, it's only a matter of when.
Now go out and buy an external drive to backup your computer before some silly mishap ends up wiping your tax returns and other irreplacable documents.
Another lesson to take from this is that if you're going to let a 2 year old play with a $600 piece of electronic equipment, you might want to supervise things a little bit more closely... iOS has features built in to make sure that a chile (or an adult for that matter) can't get out of whatever app you want them to use and bork up the entire phone. Read the manual and look at the section on using "guided access".
Be thankful that you didn't learn another important lesson from this, which is "iPhones are made of glass, which is fragile". Giving something made of glass (or largely of glass) to a 2 year old to play with is downright stupid. What if she'd broken the glass and cut herself? It wouldn't be just memories you could potentially be missing then. -

For some reason, the Camera & Scanner Wizard has started to detect the phone now. Maybe it will stop again in the future, but for now it's OK.

Yep, it's an official Apple cable, but it's a bit old. I got it with my iPod a few years back. Maybe i should start using that as the charger cable, and the new cable i got with my iPhone for syncing?

Did you sync to a different computer than the one you had previously synced to? If so you need to sync to the original computer. Otherwise you can just restore the last backup you made on the previous sync.

If you monitor the "More Like This" box (top right), other threads appear. Opening them usually displays other threads. You aren't the only one having this problem.
One person having a Photo Booth problem, although not the same one as you are having solved it by running Disk Utility/Repair Permissions.
