IOS 7.0.6 and lost AirPlay on iPad

I've just upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 7.0.6 and my airplay disappeared. Tried restarting but it didn't help.
Any suggestions please?
Ken

Is Settings > WiFi = "On"?
AirPlay only appears when you have WiFi on.

I updated my 4S phone to IOS 7.1.2 and lost my wi-fi.   The wi-fi is on, but can't find ANY networks.   I have been through all the steps, from turning the phone on and off, resetting the network settings, resetting the whole phone, redownloading 7.1.2 and lastly going to the Apple store for help.   They tried all the exact same steps I did, took the phone apart and looked at and said it is in "pristine" condition.   They have no idea why it isn't working, but they could offer to sell me another phone.    This is extremely annoying!    They claim it has nothing to do with the update to 7.1.2, but that is when I lost the wi-fi, so it has to be related!

My 4s i-phone which is 2 years old cannot find any wi-fi networks not even my home network... I had the same problem two months ago but i turned off the i-phone for 8 hours and then it was okay... Now it happened again.... I tried to restart the modem but whilst my laptop is connected regularly, my phone still cannot find any wi-fi networks... I restart the i-phone, i reset it, i chose reset network settings, reset all settings, i turned it off for a whole day in case it was overloaded, i turned on the airplane mode and turned it off again, i put it into the freezer for 10 minutes within a zipped bag but 3 days now and i still cannot be connected to my home wifi... I went to the technician today and he told me that it means that wi-fi is broken and that i need to change it with a charge of 70 euro but i have to give my phone for 10 working days so as to be fixed... I am so frustrated and i don't know if i want to give 70 euro for wifi since i don't know if it would make the same problems again...

  • I upgraded 4s to IOS 7.0.2 and lost all inboxes in MAIL.

I upgraded 4s to IOS 7.0.2 and lost all inboxes in MAIL.  After reading email and exit to MAILBOXES, I can only select from: VIP, Flagged, Unread, To/ CC, Attachments, Sent, Trash.  Not even "ALL INBOXES" is an option via Edit. How do I get my INBOX options?

Followingothers advice on similar issues, I deleted account (in Setting - Mail...)  and then added it back.  The Inbox was there, but ni Trash or Sent box.  The Trash and Sent maiboxes presented themselves after I deleted an email, and sent an email.

Get your photos from the backup that you made prior to the original update.

Did you fail to save them to your computer before updating?
If so, then you can try contacting itunes support and asking them to allow a redownload.

  • HT4623 updated to IOS 7.0.4 and lost apps

I updated to the new IOS 7.0.4 and have lost two apps.  One I had already input a lot of information into, and the other I had paid for.  How do I get these back?
    Thanks.

Are they not on your computer?
If not, then you would need to redownload them:

Not quite sure what I am supposed to be trouble shooting when device worked fine BEFORE update.
Because tthere are a lot of variables, not just the device and version. If you have never heard the expression "correlation does not imply causation" this is a good time to learn it. There are a HALF BILLION iOS devices in use, and probably at least 100 million of them have been updated to 8.1.3. if this was an iOS problem you would see millions of posts here and banner headlines in every newspaper in the world "Apple screws up big time-Epic Fail". I bet you haven't seen any headlines like that. I haven't.
If you just came to rant I won't bother replying again. If you actually want help fixing it here are some basic troubleshooting steps:
Does this happen with every wifi network or only your home network? If it is all networks focus on the iPad; if only your home network, the router.
If it's only the Home network reboot your router. Unplug it from the wall for about a minute to force it to reconnect to the phone and find an interference-free channel.
Likewise, if that doesn't fix it, go to Settings/WiFi, tap on the i next to the network name and tap "forget this network."  Then reconnect.
The next step if it still doesn't work is to go to settings/general/reset - Reset Network Settings. This will erase all wifi passwords, but you won't lose any other data.
By now it will probably be fixed. If it isn't you can try restoring iOS using iTunes in case the update did not install correctly.
If the issue happens with all networks and none of the above steps fix it take the iPad to an Apple Store. Make a Genius Bar appointment first.

  • I updated my iPod to ios 5.1.1 and lost all my photos, what can i do to get them back?

I updated my Ipod to ios 5.1.1 I figured all my photos would still be there since I backed it up and had photo stream on but they're no where to be found.  Is there any way I can get them back?

Photo Stream has only the recent shots in Camera Roll.
If you didn't backup with the appropriate software then it's gone.

  • HT5569 Updated my iPad to iOS 7.0.6 and lost internet connectivity.

The iPad connects to the router. The router sees the iPad, the iPad sees the router. All other devices on router work and have internet. iPad has no internet activity. Completed restart, reset and not sure what else to do. Issue started immediately after upgrade to IOS 7.0.6.
    Any ideas would be helpful..

  • Updated iOS 7.1.1 and lost sound

    Hi
I have just downloaded the new ios7.1.1 on my ipad and have lost all sound. Have checked my settings completed a hard reset with the home and off  key but still no sound any ideas what could be wrong. I have tried contacting apple but said over year warranty and would need to pay a 1 off incident fee to solve the problem which I didn't have until this update.

The posted "Official" fix does not work after switching apps. If you've lost sound in app and games but not in music or headphones, then try this. Close all current apps, go to settings, control center and turn off "Access Within Apps". Then do a soft reset with the home and sleep button. Your audio/external speakers will now work in apps. Apple broke the audio controller (pause/play/forward/back/volume) in the Control Center with their 7.1.1 update.
