The screen is not froze but it doesn't let me slide to unlock
Yes, I have same problem. Only way you can come out of that screen is- you need to call your phone from another phone, after that it will work. But the problem is- it is occuring again. You can try this method, if it won't work then try- hard reset as told by Andy.

It sometimes has the apple on the screen, or says it needs to be charged, or is all white, black, or yellow. I have tried charging it, leaving it alone for a while and turning it off and back on. Nothing has worked. What should I try to do??? Help please!!!Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I want to add new songs to my ipod. When I set it up with itunes years ago I had a different computer that I no longer have. Now it will not let me add new songs to my ipod shuffle without erasing everything that is already on it. Help!!! Is there any way around this?
Yes, I was aware of this but the phrase "Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library." is what worries me. Will this eliminate my Notes, Calendar Events, etc or will it apply mostly just to the music?

I downloaded a newer version of iTunes, 10.7. Now it will not let me purchase anything. I get an error code -42408. What does this mean and how do I fix? I have edited and revised all my names and account settings, checked payment. Quit, restarted. Help please, I'm going crazy without my iTunes. I'm on a MacBook Pro.

OK, I have fixed it here. Here's what I did:
quit iTunes
trashed ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist
started iTunes, and authorised my account
Worked straight away after that ! -
i just updated my phone & now it will not let me go into any of my apps that were installed or purchased
Try rebooting the device by pressing and holding the on/off and home buttons simultaneously until the screen goes blank and you see the apple logo. It should take about 10-15 seconds to reboot.

You updated you're phone to 7.0.6? Thats impossible since you can only update to the newest OS version Apple released which is currently 7.1.1. Unless you updated before April 22 and just now posting you're question.

I updated my IPAD2 to ios 7 and now it will not connect wirelessly or recognize my blue tooth devices
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi
• Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.

Tried downloading Mavericks this morning and it froze. I deleted where it started the download and I tried to restart it but now it will not let me start the download. just wants to go to install but there is nothing there to install.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to downlaod Mavericks. I recommend emptying your trash and restarting your computer. Once you have done that, navigat the the Purchased tab of the Mac App Store and try downloading Mavericks again:

Thank you for letting me know that. That's interesting and it makes since now that I think of it. I never have changed the password on my computer until my keychain password stopped working and then I only changed it twice but to the same thing that it was before. I wonder if the PMU has anything to do with it. My computer just completely shutdown while I was in the middle of editing a Flash movie file and wouldn't restart. I had to reset the PMU in order for the machine to start back up and ever since then is when I have been locked out of the keychain. I hear that it is ver unusual that the PMU fails while in the middle of a task. Does anyone know anything about this?
