IOS 7.04 and configurator 1.4.2 backup and restore issues

I have 20 brand new iPad air's and I am trying to establish a base image in configurator, then use that to restore from as a mass deployment option. I created the backup from the first iPad air succesfully, I installed a few apps via configurator and tweaked icon placement via itunes, I also changed a few settings from the device, wallpaper, bluetooth, and I turned on reduce motion. I am able to backup the first device succesfully in configurator, when I attempt to restore then next device it errors out with a message "Could not restore backup code 4 domain com.apple.configurator.operation.error". I have tried manually proceeding past the greeting screen, rebooting the mac running configurator, restoring the device via itunes, and recreating the backup image. It continues to fail with the same error. The frustarting thing is that i cannot find a table to tell me what these error codes mean, so im left in the dark as to what is causing the issue. does anyone have any ideas?

I have gotten this resolved, but as to how i got this accomplished I am unsure. I ended up deleting the backup image I had created, and starting over from the beginning. I then created a backup at each step of the process, then tested it to see if it failed to apply. At no step in the process did the process fail, so I dont have a clue what change was the culprit. The last issue I'm having, which appears to be fairly widespread, is that when the image is applied theres a 3-5 minute hang where it stays in the "waiting for device to be ready" state. Im not overly concerned about this but it is a pain to have to wait so long for each device to finish. Anyone have a clue about this?

Last week i have updated my Iphone 5 to IOS 6.1
Just did the update by wifi and not with the USB cable plugged in.
At first sight it looks allright.
After a few days it looks, that my Battery life is shorter now!
Yesterday i wanted to sync my photo's from the Iphone 5 to my Imac.
unfortunately this was not possible!
No reaction at all between two devices, even with the USB connection cable there was no reaction!
Only Itunes saw my Iphone by Wifi,
there was only one way to sync my photo's, from my imac to my Iphone, just the opposit way.
The same issues i had on a Windows 7 prof laptop.
At this moment, no fysic hardware connection is possible between any devices.
So is there anyway to leave IOS 6.1 and get back to IOS 6.0.1 ?????
is there any other way to get my hardware connection back (by USB cable) ???
Is there any information from Apple, when they fixed this BUG.
At this moment, I regret this update!

Strange.....
I went to an Icentre, they put my iphone5 to a lightning (usb) cable and it connected immediately.
so i went back home, tried my own cable, first it looks that the imac didn't recognized it,
i was mention to put out the usb cable and did pull a little on the connector back of the imac.
Perhaps the Iphone woke up
so everything looks allright now
okay, it's a bit weird, but i'm happy it works again
so i will solve this item

Back up and Restore Issues

Today my iPhone 4 on iOS 7.1.1 kept freezing and wouldnt send my iMessages so I backed it up and restored it, I had all my apps, pictures, contacts etc. backed up and after restoring my phone I tried to Restore it from its backup which should get my data back but it gives me this error http://gyazo.com/f2fe141c2619cb55c4b7ad9a8b68d116
doesnt even tell me why it cant restore my data back onto my phone, tried reconnecting and opening and closing itunes as well as restarting my computer and iphone

When we did the Backup and Restore from Dev to QA. we landed in an error saying that Invalid Value of Dimension Member for Entity and Intco Dimension.
Appreciate on any inputs

Compare contents of entity & intco dims (dev vs qa).
You can also manual adjust entries of dims in QA and use restored appset normally.

Back up and restore Issue

In performing a backup and restore today Ive lost all my contacts, notes, message history etc, can anyone help in trying to restore an older backup?
I did get an error message during the restore:
Itunes was unable to load data class information from sync services. Reconnect or try again later.
Not sure if this is part of the problem or not?

IOS 5 ACTIVATION AND SIM ISSUES

Good morning all from England!
Im on O2 (UK) and last night upgraded my iPhone from 4.3.3 to 5.0. The update went smoothly until it came to activating the phone.
All of the activation steps seemed to go smoothly, Language select, country select, location services, WiFi...then it switched to the "your iphone is being activated...this may take up to three minutes to complete"
All through this, the signal area was static on Searching... then eventually went to no service. iTunes also popped up at this point saying that there was no SIM card installed. Then i am greeted with the "unable to activate iPhone" and states that the activation server is temporarily unavailable. and asks to try again. I have done this countless times but im now under the impression that the issue of no signal is causing the issue.
From reading other posts on the interweb, there is speak of baseband upgrade issues where signals are no longer being registered.
I have tried my O2 sim in another phone and works fine, so i know it is not the sim.
Apple, are you aware of this issue? If so, how quickly do you plan to fix it.
Otherwise, has anyone else out there experienced the same issues as me? And has anyone found a fix for it?
I have the iPhone 3GS and i have been told its the new bootrom type - if that helps??

Prior to the iOS 5 update, I could get 2.5 days out of a single charge based on my normal usage. Today I received one call and used the map to check traffic, once, and I went from 100% at 7am to ZERO by 7pm - auto shut off.
Can someone please explain to me what is running in the iOS 5 backround that is sucking this thing dry?
I have alread turned off PING, most of the location settings, and notifications to conserve battery. This is INSANE. I don't need trouble shooting on the device. 24 hours ago, with iOS 4.3.5 none of this was happening. The only change between now and then, is the installation of iOS 5.
Any other suggestions out there?
Maybe I should shut the phone off entirely until I actually need it - that should save the charge.
Does anyone at APPLE monitor these blogs? This is a SERIOUS issue - and I'm not the only one. There is dialog already bubbling up elsewhere regarding the same issue.

IOS 4.1 and Signal Issues?

Now - I have not done any "extensive" testing yet... But I have a gut feeling that my signal has actually weakened with my update of iOS 4.1. Anyone else having this problem? Noticing any degradation?

I'm getting really bad signal issues after the ios 4.1 update. I was really happy with my iPhone 4 on Vodafone (Good reception + Excellent Data speeds, up & down).
Now after the update, it seems that the iphone cant get a decent signal or 3g at my home, office or girlfriends...
WHAT's Going on APPLE!??
I've done some field tests and my signal is usually -108... aka 1 bar of signal. I just wish i could revert back to 4.0.1....that was acutally better.
Please can someone help? 4.1 has definately had an adverse effect on my beloved iPhone.

IOS/AIR Running and Debugging Issues with Flash Builder

I'm having very frustrating intermittent issues running and debugging Flex applications on an iPad 3rd generation retina with Flash Builder 4.7.
Until this morning, launching on device using both standard and fast packaging worked pretty well. Every now and again, I'd get a dialog saying the packaging had completed successfully, but it hadn't. A quick change of the USB cable to another port on my iMac and it started working again. I'd also randomly get a "Error occurred while installing the application: Invalid <device> specified" error, which quickly went away.
This morning, with the same code base, the same certificate and provisioning profiles, Flash Builder has only managed to successfully package and run my application on my iPad twice and I must have attempted to launch fifty or so times. Standard packaging, fast packaging and with and without the useLegacyAOT.
Does this sound like a Flash Builder issue? Is my iMac USB driver dodgy? Has anybody else experienced this?

Hi I have had this problem sometimes. With my Mac Book Pro.
Try making a new flex application and see if you have the same result.
When I had this problem I created a new Application and copied every thing from my other application.
This my be a hard solution but I don't no any others.

After ios 5 update and restore from backup my passcode doesn't work, what happened?

yesterday iupdated my ipod touch 4g to ios5 and i selected to backup from an itunes backup i made yesterday morning, but after doing so, my ipod went to sleep, and when i tried to unlock it, it told me ipod disabled wait 1 minute, after a minute i tried again but then it said wait 5 minutes, why isn't my passcode working?

Restore from Backup once more. Passcodes are not restored in backups, so you should be able to get on the iPod without a passcode, then go into Settings and set up a new one (or the old one if you want).

IPhone 4S: Update and restore issues double whammy

While trying to update to iOS 5.1 on an older Mac running Leopard and iTunes 10.5 away from home, the update was downloaded, but couldn't be installed. The error message said it was due to older operating system. The phone is frozen at the "USB to iTunes" screen, and hard reset isn't working. It occasionally goes to the apple-on-black start up screen, then back to iTunes screen.
Back at home with a Mac running Lion 10.7.3, iTunes 10.6, iOS 5.01. Now the phone isn't recognized in iTunes. I've restarted iTunes and Mac. I have the phone charging.
Forget the update, I'd just like to restore at this point! Thanks!

My ipod shuffle is no longer reconized on my computer and restoring issues.

. when i plugged my ipod shuffle g1 in a few days ago itunes said the i had to restore my ipod. i did not want to but i had no choice cauz it already deleted my songs. after 5 trys it said "cant restore ipod"ipod". unknown error occurred (1418))(itunes did it by it self, i just put it in one very fateful afternoon. i spent 5 hrs on the computer and i still cant fix it) well i went to this web site to see if they could help me. i found something. it was a program for my ipod but by the time i downloaded it, it was too late. after a while plugging in my ipod "my computer" no longer reconized it as removable disk. a pop up comes up and says this device malfunctioned then my ipod disappears off the face of the earth. i would send it to the apple store but my warranty expired. bummer what should i do?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SQL Server Database backup and restore issue

I am trying to take a backup of the database and using restore to create its copy on the same server
Basically I am following this approach

LogicalName cant be same for mdf and ldf. verify again with FILELISTONLY. Also you have put wrong logical name

Syncing and restore issues

I was installing iOS4 on my iPad when I got error 2006. My only option was to restore to factory settings and I lost all the content on my iPad as the back-up prior to the OS installation hadn't backed up everything I bought. Is there any way I can restore the items I have bought from iTunes, or do I have to buy them all again?

If you lost the apps you'll need to re-download them, but you won't be charged again if you download with the same iTunes account used the first time. You will not get back your data and settings, though.
And in the future, you need to backup your iPad regularly to avoid this happening. You don't want your only backup to be right before a major OS update.

Back-up and restore issues on iphone 4

Long story short, last week my iphone 4 stopped working and I got a new one (same exact model). However, the cloud settings for some reason would not import meaning none of my contacts, apps etc could be transferred, so I basically had to start afresh. However, today I plugged my iphone into my laptop and was given the option to restore from backup or set up as new iphone. I chose to restore from backup and was able to restore my setting to the last time I updated which was in October which I did. However, the restore seemed to "erase" everything I did since last week (before the restore). Is there anything I can do to recover my imessages and photos from the time between the October update and today? Specifically since I got my new phone last week? thank you

Hi, thanks for replying. I'm actually not sure if I backed up or not because there are photos i took yesterday which show up in my icloud on my laptop. but newer imessages are not appearing.
