IOS 7.1.1 Wallpapers MISSING

So, I upgraded to iOS 7.1 and noticed all the Still Wallpapers were missing ._. I have tried a 100% Factory reset, and even an upgrade to 7.1.1 and alas, my wallpapers are still missing. The weird thing is, my Lock Screen appears to be using one of the 'missing' wallpapers. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

.... When I click Settings.app, go into Wallpapers & Brightness, Choose a new Wallpaper and select "Stills" There's nothing in there.. I can choose a dynamic wallpaper perfectly, and I can choose from my photos, but the standard iOS Wallpapers are missing.

    Hello dtorres74302
Check to see if you had a back up within iTunes or through iCloud to see if you can recover that data.

iOS 6 installed, data wiped/ missing from itouch and iPhone on calendars and contacts.  help

    Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
If you restore via iTunes make sure that all the apps are in the iTunes library since they are not in the backup.
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • I upgraded my iPad to iOS 7 and cannot restore missing apps.

I upgraded my iPad 2 to the latest iOS 7 and lost several apps. Some of which I paid for, like Pages and Numbers. With that, I lost all the documents buried in iBooks, Pages, Numbers, etc.
I tried to sync with my computer, but one thing Apple does not tell you is that you must have the latest iTunes 11 to sync iOS 7 devices. I do not. I tried to up date my iTunes and learned that the operating system on my desk top does not support iTunes 11. And my desk top does not support the latest operating system. My desk top is working great and no reason to replace.
Next try was to re download the app from the App Store.  iBooks was a success, everything came back, no charge. I had to pay for Pages, it appears to be an upgraded version made for iOS 7, no documents were restored. I do not see the older version available.  I did not waste time and money on the rest of the missing apps.
    Any suggestions.

Yes, I did back up my iPad to my computer before upgrading to iOS 7.  However, since upgrading to iOS 7, my iPad will no longer sync with my iMac.  You must have the latest iTunes 11 to sync iOS 7 devices. I do not. I tried to up date my iTunes and learned that the operating system on my desk top does not support iTunes 11. And my desk top does not support the latest operating system.

  • IOS 8 upgrade and now missing airplay icon

I use AirPlay to stream music from both iTunes and Pandora on my iPhone 5 to an AirPort Express.  After upgrading to iOS 8, I no longer have an AirPlay icon in Control Center.  The AirPort Express and the iPhone 5 are both connected to the same network.  The AirPort Express is very new (purchased new from Apple within the past 90 days).  It all worked great before upgrading to iOS 8

    APPLE...
The problem of a missing AirPlay icon and missing AirPlay devices has not yet been fully resolved. The variations I've seen (on an iPad 4) are
    1) There is NO AirPlay icon, only AirDrop
    2) The AirPlay icon is there but when you open its popup the local device (iPad) displays at the top of the list followed by one other device. If you now wait the shown device scrolls sideways and shows another available device
    3) The AirPlay icon is displayed and its popup window contains a current list of all available streaming devices. This is what we want!
HInt: Possibly there is something going on concerning the streaming capabilities of the available AirPlay devices. I've noted that my AppleTV is usually first up when devices start to appear and this offers picture and sound streaming (also screen cloning from suitable devices). After this the audio only streaming devices appear.
APPLE PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS !

  • IOS improved packaging SDK is missing compile-abc.exe error

I am trying to test out the new and improved iOS packaging on my Windows machine and I am having some trouble getting it to work. I am using AIR 4.0.1170 for Flex developers and as the announcement says, added "-useLegacyAOT no" to my packaging options in FB. I believe it is in the correct spot because moving it to other places in the packaging options gives me syntax errors and when I do "-useLegacyAOT yes", it packages just fine, but takes a really long time. I keep getting the following error:
SDK is missing file C:\{my 4.0 sdk path}/lib/aot/bin/compile-abc/compile-abc.exe
Sure enough, navigating to that path shows compile-abc does not exist. Any ideas of what I may be doing wrong?

We are aware of the issue and investigating it.As if now,-useLegacyAOT switch is not working on windows. For more information please see this:

  • IOS Simulator build: SDK is missing GPL component X:\sdk_path\lib\aot/bin/as/as-386.exe

Trying to build a simulator build with air 16 or 17 and iPhoneSimulator8.2.sdk I get the following error:
SDK is missing GPL component X:\sdk_path\lib\aot/bin/as/as-386.exe
    igmake: *** [../bin/project.ipa] Error 16
    igmake: Leaving directory `X:/project/'
I've checked various sdk versions.  Some of them have an "as-386" file, but never a "as-386.exe" file.  I tried just renaming the file (hoping for the best) but that results in this error:
ld: in `)Ωtm♣Z, unsupported address encoding (08) of personality function in CIE
    for architecture i386
Compilation failed while executing : ld64
    igmake: *** [../bin/project.ipa] Error 12
    Any help would be appreciated!
    Ken

    Thanks,
    Yes I know that.
But what I was expecting was that things which worked in AIR 3.3 beta 3 would continue to work. As in this link http://blogs.adobe.com/airodynamics/2012/05/18/using-platformsdk-for-ios-on-windows/
In fact the Release notes that you point to state:
Platform SDK support for iOS on Windows
Now, a developer can copy the iOS SDK folder on a Windows® machine and use the platformsdk option of adt on Windows® too.
    adt –package –target (ipa-app-store|ipa-ad-hoc|ipa-debug|ipa-debug-interpreter|ipa-test|ipa-test-interpreter) -platformsdk
This feature is not yet available in Flash Builder. The SDK should be copied properly, i.e. the symbolic links in the iOS SDK should be converted to actual files on Windows® , else, packaging will fail.

  • IOS 8.1.1 iLife missing

    HI,
I bought two iPhone 6's the other day for my wife and I.
They both started out with garage band and iMovie already installed, which I believe is normal.
However, my phone said there was an update to iOS 8.1.1 which I carried out, and now all the free apps from the iWork and iLife groups are missing.
Is this normal? If I look for them in the app Store they're £7 each.
MY wife still has them on her ios8 device.
Thanks for any help you cam give.
    MIke

No. It's not gone. It's not possible to delete it or restrict it. You've moved it to another screen or into a folder.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout will put it back in the default location if you can't find it.

  • Original iPad 2 Wallpapers Missing!!!?!

After recent updates, I have found that some of the original iPad2 wallpapers have gone missing! The blue spotlight wallpaper that I love is no longer displayed as an option in "Brightness & Wallpaper". Does anyone know how I may be able to restore this option? where I may find this wallpaper? Or how I can restore it from my backup?
    Note:
I recently changed my wallpaper and when I tried reverting it back to the blue spotlight wallpaper, it was no longer an option.

As you have discovered, updating your device made that particular wallpaper unavailable.  I do not know where you can find that particular design.  You might want to do a Google search for iPad wallpapers.  There are many sites where you can download lovely alternatives.  You might even find something similar.

  • IOS 4- All default wallpapers are gone.

*iPod Touch 3rd Gen (Late 2009) 32 GB*
Upgraded to iOS 4 and all the default wallpapers are gone... nothing is there at all.
Yes, I can set both the Home & Lock screen wallpapers with something from my iPoto collection. It's the "wallpaper" section that's now blank!
    Settings -> Wallpaper -> Wallpaper -> Wallpaper -> EMPTY!!
Since you can never delete or add to this collection, how can this happen? I heard iOS 4 would add a few new ones but not delete all of them.
Restoring does not make a difference. Restoring to Factory Default settings does not work either.

Had the same problem but solved it. I had originally downloaded and installed the iOS4 GM version and everything worked except all the default wallpapers were gone. Tried updating today directly through iTunes and of course it says I'm already "up to date". What worked for me is the follow. Follow the steps and hopefully it works for you too.
    1. Go to the web page below and find your version and download the file and save it to your computer were you know the location.
    http://gizmodo.com/5568558/download-iphone-ios4-now
    2. After downloading sync your device with iTunes 9.2. Once synced go to the summary screen where you have the "check for update" button.
    3. On a MAC hold down ALT/Windows hold down SHIFT; and click the check for update button. At this point it will prompt you to select a file from your computer. Go to the iOS4 update file you downloaded and select it. follow the prompts.
    4. Now just sit back and let it do it's thing. It will basically re-install iOS4. When all is said and done the wallpapers should be there.
It worked for me, hope it works for you. =O)

  • IOS 7.0.3 Email missing Text when sending photos by email

    Hello,
I have recognized, that when sending a photo by email since ios 7.0 all text which is typed underneath the photo is not displayed by the revicer in his Email.
    Also my signatures are missing.
When I check my outbox the Text is displayed correctly under the photos.
Before iOS 7, I had never such problems.
Does anyone else have theese problems?
    Thanks for any hints.
    Regards
    Dominik

That doesn't work for me. First off, to reduce confusion, in iOS 7, it's General > Touch ID & Passcode > Reply with Message: On.
I've had this turned on since I got my 5S, but the Reply with Message function only appears for about a fifth of the phone calls I receive. I rarely see it. In each case, I have good cell reception, and it has nothing to do with who's calling, since I sometimes see it and sometimes don't for the same person. Another iOS 7 bug, I'm sure.

  • IOS 7.1: Parallax Wallpapers Misaligning to Right of Screen

After updating to iOS 7.1 yesterday, I've noticed a bug with regards to how wallpaper previews before setting it.
I create my wallpapers at 2,524 x 2,524, which I'm told is the resolution Apple uses for parallax wallpapers.  However, once I select a picture to set as a wallpaper, the preview always aligns the picture way to the right. The size of the wallpapers themselves are fine, it's just that they're not centered, by default  Of course, when setting a default Apple wallpaper, these problems don't happen, despite having the same pixel dimensions.
As of now, the only way for the wallpaper to be perfectly center is to manually align it, which is a pain, and it probably won't be exactly centered.  In iOS 7.0.x, what I would do is set the wallpaper with reduce motion turned on, which would center it, and then by flipping it off again, everything would size up perfectly.  For some reason, I'm unable to do this in 7.1.
Is anyone else having this problem?  Or have a solution?  Your help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Perspective zoom seems to do little. I have yet to find a way with 7.1 to actually use a landscape mode wallpaper without losing about half of the resolution. Everything is zoomed. This is nuts. With 7.0, to make it work, you had to create square wallpapers with your landscape mode centered (unused bars at top and bottom). Now, EVERYTHING is zoomed in landscape mode, effectively wasting the beautiful resolution of the iPad. Apple should be embarrassed, and I don't think this would have happened a few years ago. Either they didn't test this, or they simply don't believe people use iPads in landscape mode (which is the only way I use it). Angry as ****.

  • Wallpapers Missing?

Is it just me or are some of the wallpapers that were on Tiger missing from Leopard? For example, the two previous animal print wallpapers (a leopard and tiger design) are gone. Do they just get removed when you install Leopard or am I the only one with them missing?

I don't know. That'd be interesting. I upgraded, though. Maybe there's a website that allows you to re-download them.. I seriously was sad today when I realized that after having Leopard for a few weeks I just now noticed the absence of my favorite wallpapers. Im SUCH a nerd..

  • Has anyone else noticed that the iOS 6 Maps App is missing the area code for many places it has listed?

If I try to look up a local business on the Maps App it drops a pin on all of the locations matching my search parameters. However, when I get details about a dropped pin, the phone number is usually missing the area code! For example, if the phone number is +1 (123) 555-5555 it would show up as +1 (555) 555-5. This makes it impossible to call directly from the maps app or to copy and paste infront of a manually entered area code (because of the '+1'). Has anyone else noticed this?

Have you checked to make sure that your region settings are correct?
