Ios 7 app store issues

Ok I'm new here so be gentle.
Right.... Before we go to far I'm using a windows based computer
I have updated my iPhone 4 to ios7.
Today I noticed that I had notification of 4 updates on my iPhone, but not wanting to waste my data allowance, I went to download the updates on iTunes. Once downloaded I plugged the iphone in and asked iTunes to update the apps. So it went through the process and it syncronised.
But I noticed that the iPhone still shows that I have 4 updates to apply.
So whats going on... Any clues, suggestions...

I am having a similar issue.I have an Iphone 4s and I have tried to reset, I have logged out and back in, and I have reset several times. Each time I have lost all settings and I am starting to regret ever updating.The Itunes store works, but each time I reset, the search icon works for a few minutes the quits. I have set the cookies to all 3 different settings but to no avail.I guess if I want to search something on the Itunes store, I'm going to have to reset each time.I should have just stayed with the old IOS

Extremely annoying App Update bug in iOS App Store

Previously when iPhone in 3G mode, iOS App Store will not download any update that's more than 20MB, even when I tapped on the "Update All" button.
However, starting from iOS 4.3, this is no longer the case. Whenever I tapped on the "Update All" button, iOS App Store will just try to download all () even though some apps are more than 500MB. To make things worse, iOS App Store will prompt me saying the apps I'm trying to update is > 20MB so no update will be downloaded for the apps, but it already marked those apps as "Waiting". There's no way to cancel this other than cold reboot the iPhone.
This is very annoying when I have several apps to be updated, and one of which is the app that I'm using often. I won't be able to use the app until I can find a Wi-Fi to try to complete the update.
Please, please, please fix this annoying bug!

I have this annoying experienced too, my friend have 69 apps waiting for update, when I click update last night, over 30 apps are not usable and I have to wait the download process. What's worst is that I and my boyfriend uses different account. The update just keep prompting different password - and keep saying its a different store. annoying. Apple un the upcoming 5.0 should fix this user at once!

The requirements for them being free is:

IOS App Store hijacked by Bible sellers?

I object to the fact that when searching in the iOS App Store with the keywords "student newspapers," the results are mostly Bibles. The Bible sellers apparently have hijacked the iOS App Store by learning how to game the system to generate their apps in the wrong category, as Bibles are not student newspapers.
Please fix the iOS App Store so that Bibles are not listed when people do a search for student newspapers. I have reported this three times, but nothing has been done about it.

I had realised that my iPhone Date & Time settings were not on auto so I can manually change them. Also I had heard rumours that other peoples' iPhones were doing the same thing as mine. I had looked into it for a day or so and found the answer on a website from Google.
I checked it and it worked!

If you register as an Apple Developer for the iOS App Store, do you have to maintain your membership for the app to stay in the store, or will it remain even if your membership expires?

If your dev account isn't current, your apps disappear from the store.

Trouble selecting security questions for iOS app store

We bought my daughter an iPad mini for Christmas, and until today, were able to happily download apps from the iOS app store. But this morning, it prompted me to select three security questions before allowing a download. Which is fine, but it wouldn't provide any security questions to choose from. Steps to reproduce error:
Select an app to download/install
Receive prompt to select three security questions
Click OK
Receive prompt to enter apple ID password
Enter password
Receive dialog box requesting to select three security questions/answers, plus a rescue e-mail address
Click area to select first question
Receive a blank white box, which never fills in with anything
I'm baffled: nothing ever shows up in the box described in step 8), so I can never select a security question, so I can't continue the process of downloading apps. I've tried this several times over the course of the day today, and I'm getting nowhere. Any thoughts?

Ok, problem solved. It turns out that rebooting the iPad caused this to start working correctly. So I recommend a restart if anyone has this problem.

My IOS app store won't work. I just restored it times. first time with a back up. and the second time without the back up and as a new phone. And it still doesn't work. IOS 7.0.4 iPhone 4s.

I recently updated to iOS 5 on my iPad 2 (AT&T 3G). Now half the things in the app store wont load. Most of the time, I can tap the button to purchase an app, but I can't get to the apps info page. Once I do manage to get there (through the hierarchy of app categories), I can't post a review on it. It just open's the page again and goes to the top. (???)

IOS 6.1.2 - "Request Timed Out" - iOS App Store Updates

Since upgrading my iPhone 5 and iPad mini to iOS 6.1.2, the "Updates" tab of the App Store no longer loads. It shows a blank screen for a long time and sometimes then shows a popup "The request timed out". The badge count over the App Store icon still shows a number, both on the home screen and over the "Updates" tab icon in the App Store.
I have tried restarting, and on both wifi and cellular. The rest of the App Store appears to work and load normally.
One or two tweets on this but not much else so thought I'd start a topic. Anyone else got this?

I have the same problem as the original poster, running an iPad 2 with the latest iOS updates. The proposed solution (the problem seems to have just gone away for some users) does not hold true for me.
I have closed and re-started the App Store app, to no avail. Also, the rest of the app store is available, just not updates. The app badge shows that nine updates are available, but clicking on the Updates tab always results in a wait of several minutes, and then a message that "The request timed out" with no further information.
Next I will try re-starting the iPad itself. Since many, many others are having the same issue, I would suspect Apple is aware of the problem, despite the customary lack of acknowledgement.

i have reset the settings once in my iphone 6 . updated to iOS 8.1.2 but recently faced issue in itunes and app store as it wont shut down the automatic downloads. what to do?

Ios app store crashing

Anyone else having issues with your app store crashing when you go into the Genius section? Besides swiping and downloading, everything else I do like click uninterested or to view the app it crashes.

Mine just crashes whenever you search for an app and the results try to load. I think it is because since the 4th gen iPod touch has specs similiar to an iPhone 3GS it has problems loading multiple icons and screenshots at the same time and the process runs out of memory, thus causing iOS to boot the app store before it becomes unstable. On iOS 5, before the new layout all it needed to load was an app icon and the title - but in iOS 6 it has to load the screenshot and icon for 20 or so apps on cards. Therefore they should change it back to the old layout for older devices

Updates in iOS App Store. Cannot connect to iTunes Store

I have been having an issue with my iPhone. Whenever I tap the updates tab on the bottom of the App Store window it pops up with a message saying that my iPhone Cannot connect to the iTunes Store. It is not an issue with my Wifi connection as I have tried over 3G. It is not my Apple ID as I have reset my password checkede all of my details and it works fine on the same Apple ID on my iPad. It is just my phone. I spent and hour on the phone with Apple Technical Support and they could not troubleshoot it, so put me through to a Senior Advisor. The phone line then cut off from Apples end. Even after I say OK to the message that opens it does not let me see my updates, it just shows a badge. Also the purchased bar in the updates section is not there. I can access the rest of the store as well, like the Top 25, Featured, Categories and Search. Just not my updates. It sounds like something so small it's not even worth it but it gets really annoying!
The guy at Tech support went through numerous things with me. Signing in and out of my Apple ID and signing in on a different one. Checking my Internet connection. Resetting my network settings. Resetting all of my settings and have you turned it off and on again? I had tried all of those previous to being on the phone with him.
I was wondering has anyone else had this problem? How can it be solved? Should I take my iPhone into an Apple Store? Should I reset it by erasing all data on it?

Can someone help me with App Store Issues?

When I go on my phone to re-download old apps on my phone, my purchased section is cleared and there is nothing there, but the weird thing is when I sign into my iTunes account on my computer, all my apps are in the "Purchased" section on there. I have purchased dozens of things and I only have one apple ID so there is no confusion there. Has anyone had a similar problem and/or know a solution to this? I have tried to reset and hard reset, but nothing seems to fix the issue. I have also tried to sign out and back in but nothing.

Ok so I fixed the issue.
First I went to the App Store, clicked my ID, then clicked "View Apple ID" on the App Store and clicked "Remove This Device."
Then went on to Sign out of iTunes & App Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store).
After this I went on my computer version of iTunes and I Unautharized my computer and reauthorized it (it is done from the Store tab on iTunes).
I did a hard reset of my phone and connected it to my computer and let it sync.
While connected I signed back in to iTunes from the same "iTunes & App Store" section in the settings.
I then installed a previously "Purchased" app from the computer version of iTunes
When it finished installing I went to my purchased section and all my apps were back:)
Ok so I'm honestly not sure whether these steps were the reason for the fix (or if there was unnecessary steps), but it did fix the problem I was having with my purchased apps not appearing.

IOS App Store purchase buttons greyed out

So, we have two iphones and two iPads. Today, I upated one of the iPads to 6.0.1 and now, in the APP STORE, all the purchase buttons are screwed up. First, they are no longer rectangle - they are square and only showing the first few letters. Second, they are greyed out - can't depress them. All my other devices work fine, just this one. I've tried shutting down all the apps in the task bar and hard resetting the machine. I also tried logging out of my apple id and re-logging back in. Nothing works.

I solved it. I forgot that installing iOS 6.0.1 screws with your settings - randomly on each device - four devices I've installed this on and four different results. While going through settings, RESTRICTIONS were activated which presents installing apps. Also, had to relog back into Messages and Facetime. VERY un-Apple.
