Ios 7-bluetooth quit working in my car

I just downloaded ios7 to my Iphone 4 and now my factory installed bluetooth in my 2013 Car is not being recognized. What's the fix?

I'm having the same exact problem connecting my iPhone 6 Plus AND my iPad Air 2 to my Windows 7 PC ever since installing iOS 8.2. I am getting the same thing with the wheel by "Other devices" spinning continuously. I even get a pairing code from the PC, but I get a message on both the iPad and iPhone that they can't connect. Both devices can connect to a Bluetooth speaker and my iPhone is able to connect to my car, a Honda CR-V.

I have a iPhone 5 ios 6.1.4. and the bluetooth quit working last night. I tried to pair to my Bose Soundlink without success. I had been pair and it was working great 2 hours before. I noticed the discovery just searches without discoverying anything. I have other bluetooth devices active and the phone does not see anything. My iPhone 4s sees the Bose and links fine so it is not the Bose. I reset the network under settings>general>reset...no help. Any other ideas before i go to the genus bar to have them reimage ios 6.1.4?

fixed...i think:) Reset network again and reset Bose by holding down the mute for 10 seconds. Now iPhone can connect to Bose but it still does not set other devices that my iPhone 4s sees. At least the Bose is working:)

It certainly does work for myself and millions of others.
Has the basic troubleshooting of reset, restart, and restore been tried?
What about Settings > General > Bluetooth > select device > Forget this device?

Since upgrading to iOS 7 Bluetooth is not working fully on either ipad or iphone.
What will work ....
BT turns on and off OK
Personal hotspot will work ok and when in use the two devices show each other as connected via BT
Apple keyboard is recognised and connects oK
What does not work,...
If BT is turned on the devices will not find one another, even though they are both showing they are discoverable. They spend for ever trying to discover ANY device and find nothing.
Tried with a device on iOS 6xx and still no discovery
Tried with the Phototransfer app that has always worked fine via BT - it will no longer connect over BT.

X205 S9810 Bluetooth quit working

I have a X205 S9810 Satellite. It has Bluetooth, but the Bluetooth appears to have quit working. I have downloaded and installed the Bluetooth stack and Bluetooth monitor from Toshiba.
Also, the FN key quit working. I have searched the forums and product support with no success. Any support will be greatly appreciated.

Bluetooth stopped working in my car with iOS 8.2 upgrade

I have a 2013 Prius C. Bluetooth worked great until I updated my iPhone 6 Plus to 8.2 yesterday. It still works with calling, but no longer works for playing music, podcasts, etc. Anyone else come across this problem. Any solution out there?
I already did the rebooting, unpairing and pairing again options to no avail. Any help would be much appreciated.

Bluetooth not working with my car after 2.02 upgrade

3G iPhone was working well with the bluetooth in my car (and my wife's car) for past month but I recently returned the phone for a replacement which I upgraded to 2.02 and now it won't work without a manual set-up each time. Called Apple and they said it's a known problem but didn't know of a workaround. Thought others might like to know this before spending the hour I did today trying to fix.

There are a couple of workarounds out there you could give a try. For some phones / users it seems to work, for others like me none solved the problem.
1. Do a backup
2. unpair all your BT connections from the phone and in the car. (You've done that already, right?)
3. Reset your network settings (you'll loose your saved wifi networks and the keys and have to connect them from scratch afterwards) (Test it again, if not ...)
4. Disconnect from iCloud and delete data from iPhone (test if it works now, you can connect to iCloud afterwards again and sync your data and settings)(don't know if you possibly loose data, cause i don't store important stuff on iCloud)
These are just a couple of workarounds that are suggested in various forums / newspapers. But none of them helped me to solve the problem permanently.

IOS 7 Bluetooth not working on iPhone 5 or iPad Mini

Since updating to iOS7, my iPhone 5 wont discover my iPad Mini via bluetooth, or vice versa. My iPad mini does not have 3G, so I use my iPhone's connection.
I've reset network settings, I've done a hard reset on both devices, I've deleted all bluetooth pairs on both devices and now neither device will discover eachother. They do however discover other devices, like my Ford Audio, and others that a not mine, but nearby.
Any help would be much appreciated!

I was able to ge my iPhone 4S to pir with tons of devies but so far the only one that works on iPhone5 is my brand new MacBookPro. No joy with either iPad4 or iPad mini - so not tethering working and I am travelling!
ALL devices have been turned off/on and same for Bluetooth in Settings.
Just no functionar!

I have iphone 6 with ios 8.1.1. The bluetooth pairs with my sony car radio and everything works fine. However, the iphone won't stop searching for other devices.

It should still work but have noticed it takes longer than usual to pair compared to prior version.

Can you connect from your phone to another BT device, not the car? If you haven't ,I'd try a reset of the phone by holding the home and power button down. Next step would be to talk to your dealership and see if they have any ideas. Sometimes software can either get updated on iOS or on the vehicle and it can cause problems. Every dealership seems to have a go-to person that handles issues like this. Getting to know him or her well and getting their direct phone number will pay big dividends. A device restore might be necessary, but if it were me I'd talk to the dealership first.

After recent iPhone update why does my phone no longer work with my car's bluetooth?

Recently I updated my iPhone 5 and my wife's iPhone 4s. My wife and I attempted to use the bluetooth connection in out car to listen to some music and it will not work. On our screen we get a message "No Data." Since the same is true for both of my iPhone and my wife's, there seems be some type of bug with the new update. Is anyone else having the same problem? If so, is there a work-around solution?

Bluetooth Remote Control Quit Working

I have a new 8350i and downloaded the new 5.0.0.807 (?) version software. For some reason, after doing this, the ability of my Plantronics Voyager 815 headset to perform remote controls (answer, hang up, volume, etc) has quit working. Has anyone else had this happen to them? What can I do to correct this? Thanks in advance!

I thought I'd lost my mind with this phone. I too updated my phone with the latest software and now I am having all kinds of bluetooth problems, I have the problem with the remote controls on my headset not working. I have a problem where if I put the phone in the case while talking to someone it hangs up even though I have it set to NEVER do that. The phone also is having major pairing issues with the two cars hands free radios I have, once the phone is paired to the radio, I can no longer listen to the car radio, I have to drive in silence, so I go back to the headset, which I cannot answer calls or hang up calls with. I have pulled the battery, but that is only a temporary fix, it starts misbehaving within a day or two, tops.
I used to love this phone, now I am nothing but frustrated with it.
If anyone hears of a solution that works for more than a day, please post what you did.

I was researching the issue you are having and recommend a couple of things. First it might be a good idea to reset the device following iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting found here http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't quite get the device going again, I recommend restoring the device.

Might even be a good idea to turn off the phone, reseat the SIM card, and turn it back on.
