IOS 7 Calendar Day View Bug

When I check the Calendar Day View on the Notification Center, it only reveals the first five hours of the day (ie until 5am). No matter what time of the day it is. It should instead just show the upcoming hours as far as I know.
I do not have this issue on my iPad, but it is a constant problem on my iPhone 4S. I have tried rebooting the device, to no avail! Has anybody else experienced this problem and managed to solve it?
Regards,

Mine brings me right up to the current time, or in the case of another day, it takes me to the first appointment of the day.

  • TS1347 Day View in Calendars - iPhone 4S upgraded to ios 7.1 and no more Calendar Day View??

I upgraded my IPhone 4S to ios 7.1 and now I can no longer view my Calendar by Day only.  I have a toggle at top of Calendar that allows me to switch between a monthly calendar, or monthly calendar with a few appts on bottom of screen that I have to scroll thru in order to see that day's appts.  And even then it only shows me my appts for that day, not the full day so that I can quickly find an open slot to add an appt.  I now have to scroll painfully thru that little, 1-inch section at the bottom of screen, write down all appt times to then "figure out" what slots are open that day so that i can schedule things into open slots.  Aaargghhh!   What happened to my calendars?  I know v7.1 made a mod to Calendars to allow for Monthly Views, but says nothing about removing Day View. How can I get back to a view that just shows me every hour of my workday TODAY??  I've spent hours looking thru every setting and nothing works.  Can anyone help me to view Calendar?  Note that my Calendar is coming in from Outlook.
Thx in advance for any help.

Tap on any give date in the monthly view and you will be taken a list of event, the default position being the date you tapped.
The icon just to the left of the search icon provides a master list view of events.

  • Calendar Day View in Flex

    Hi,
I am not sure if this place is the right place where I am
    supposed to post this.
Has anyone tried using Flex to build a calendar application
from scratch? I am having some problems with finding the right
elements that would display the calendar in a day view that looks a
bit like a timetable, but so far I have only found calendar
components that display in a monthly view.
Does anyone know if there are other possible components
other than mx:DateChooser to build an application that allows users
to list things in a day view, a monthly view and possibly other
customized views? Or, do I have to "establish" each of these
elements by compiling them manually with images?

I built something with a month and a week view. I used a
    TileList for the
month, and a custom component that does something sort of
    like an Accordion
that held a List with a custom itemRenderer for each day.
    Essentially, I
had an array of dates that I grouped different ways for the
    different views.
If I had it to do over, I'd extend HierarchicalCollectionView
    to have a
grouping function and use that to group on the different time
    periods. But
this is how I dealt with the dates...

  • Ipad Calendar day view does not automatically updated to Today

I have just got my Ipad4 and I am having problem with my Calendar app. I like to have my calendar app open in Day view. However, the Day view show the date that the last time I open the calendar app. So if the last time I look at my calendar is on 12/20 and the next day 12/21 I open calendar it still show 12/20. However when I go to Month view, it correctly show Today as 12/21. Going from Month View to Day view does not change the Day view to today until I hit Today button. Is this the correct behavior?

Can anyone tell me whether the behaviour that I described in my first post is what everyone experiencing? Do I miss some setting to make the calendar app update the day view to current date everytime I open it?

  • Calendar - Day View displays 2-hour meetings as 1-hour

Is there any way of changing the day view where currently a meeting, even though booked for 2-hours, displays as 1-hour?

Maybe I am missing something here in your question, but you are asking that if you schedule a meeting in your calendar for two hours, you want it only to display as a one hour meeting?
No, the BB calendar will display the amount of time you designate... if you book it for two hours it will display for two hours. If you schedule it for one hour, your calendar will display a one hour time block.
If you want it only to display a one hour time block, schedule the meeting for one hour.

  • Why does old events show up in Calendar day view?  How do I make it show only from today forward

I have looked at everything but I keep seeing an event from early October as the first event in my day view and not my current days event.  Any ideas on how I can change this so that it only looks from today forward and not backwards

It isn't a repeating event. But is marked as an all day event?  On the weekly and monthly view it shows only on the specific day it should. On the daily view it is only on the left side that lists calendar events?  Is there a setting I am missing

  • Calendar Day View Error

When I log into my Day View on the B Q10 I can't see any text that describes the 30 minute events/appointments I have set.  The 1hour or longer appointments show the text.  It is almost as though my calendar is "zoomed out" so the 30 minute appointments don't have visible text unless I open the appointment.  My phone use to display the 30 minute appointments but I must have accidentally altered the setting and can't figure out how to switch it back.
Any idea how I zoom my view out permanently so I can see the 30 minute appointment description/text?
    Thanks!
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Did more reasearch and this worked... guess it was fairly simple.
Pinch to Zoom in Day View
The next time you are viewing your calendar in the Day view, using two fingers, slide them together to zoom in, or slide them apart to zoom out.

  • Getting to Calendar day view

I like many things about ios7 but one of my most used behaviors no longer works. In The calendar app I want to make an appointment, say, t on the 25 of next March. Before, I would go in month mode to the date select a suitable day and touch the number of the day above the small display of my other appointments for that day. This would open up that day in day view and I would make the appointment. This no longer works. The day number in month view is inert (on the iPhone the month view gives you access to the day ok but not on the iPad).

  • Calendar 'List view' bug

I'm still patiently awaiting a fix from Apple (who are apparently aware) for the bug discussed at length in another thread which has now been archived. See here... http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2470805&start=60&tstart=0
Further to that thread, I have noticed that this problem does not occur when changing entries while connected to my home 3G network.
When I go abroad I disable Data Roaming and only use Wi-Fi. Changing any appointments then somehow corrupts the dates of nearly all the other appointments but only in List view. All appointments on MobileMe still show correct dates so it is only on the iPhone's List view.
Whether this is due to being in a different time zone (Time set automatically in Settings) or Wi-Fi, I don't know.
    Please Apple... fix this bug.

In my Calender I have the same bug. I haven't found any help.

  • In the calendar day view the all day events are all squished up at the top any ideas how to fix that ?

this is something new with the new OS system
    thanks

More than likely, especially since hot chocolate is a sticky solution, it has gummed up the headphone port. There is something in there that senses that the headphones are plugged in. You can try to clean it out with maybe a small round toothpick, but it might not be fixable. You may have to make an appointment with the Genius at the Apple store and see about an out of warranty replacement. User damage, including liquid damage is not covered under the warranty.

  • (IOS 7) Any way to show calendar list view in notification center instead of day view?

I updated to IOS 7 and I hoped to be able to check my schedule for the next day from the lock screen. Unfortunately at 1 AM the next few hours in the Calendar Day View in Notification Center was empty. The Today Summary just tells me when the first appointment is the next morning but not much else. Is there any way to change the calendar day view to the list view of appointments? Representing the relative times of the appointments with empty space seems like a waste. Especially when the Calendar Day View is 100% empty space and my appointments are just out of view in the wee hours of the morning.
    Thanks,
    Jerrill

My biggest regret in updating to IOS 7 is the calendar. I often to tap from date to date and wish to see in LIST view my events... not in a today view as mentioned by the various posts above. As someone else noted, events are hiding below the screen view and one must scroll around to see if there are other events scheduled. I'm so afraid I'm going to miss something and make a committment in error. A list view is much more desired and efficient.
Change for the sake of change...why Apple why?
I have sent mass texts and Face Book messages to friends telling them not to upgrade to IOS 7 because of the calendar disaster and variouse other changes. Such as why is the font everywhere so small and light? One needs a magnifying glass to see everything that could be seen so clearly before. I've given friends a "tour" of IOS 7 on my iPhone and after seeing it many have thanked me and opted not to upgrade. I only wish I could have been saved.

  • IOS5.1 Exchange sync - birthdays not shown in Day view

    iPhone 4s, IOS 5.1
Sync'd with Exchange using Outlook 2010 - Sorry, I don't know what the server version of Exchange is.
Outlook shows birthdays in my calendar, as having start and end as 12am, on the same day, correct recurrence patterns, etc.
If I look in iPhone Calendar, 'Day View', nothing is shown.
If I look in iPhone Calendar, 'List View', I can see them.
I generally live in 'Day View', I expect the birthdays to show up.
What can I do, if anything, to make the birthdays show up in 'Day view'?
    Assistance greatly appreciated.

Calendar -> Day View - Move to a day that has birthdays (2 days ago or tomorrow), scroll down to the bottom, nothing. Attempt scrolling past top and bottom to no effect.
Calendar -> List View - Birthdays visible
Calendar -> Month View - Birthdays visible underneath the calendar

  • ICal: multiuser option displays in Day view each user in separate column?

I have been disappointed with the new iCal update. I do not see the option that would keep each calendar user in its own column when multiple calendars are displayed in iCal's Day view.
In a multiple calendar display view, I would like to see my calendar items in column "A", and my wife's in column "B" side by side, and not intermixed.
It is not acceptable that her empty slots are filled in with my items by expanding my column width to column "A" and column "B".
It is not acceptable that if her calendar item starts five minute earlier than mine, then it is displaid in column "A" and my calendar item jumps to column "B".
Is there a way in iCal to keep separate calendars in their own designated columns when displaid on multi calendar day view?

I don't think there is another way for that. Did you try the pdf view?
    You can try using LRO's

  • IOS 7 Calendar on iPad I cannot go from month view to day view. When I tap on the day of the month nothing happens.

I use to be able to look at my month in the month view and when I wanted to make an appointment for a specific day I just tapped that day and it would open up the day and I could add my appointment to the time slot I wanted. Now when I am in month view and I tap on the day I want to make an appointment it does nothing. If I hold my finger on the day it creates an All Day event which is not what I want to do and even if I add a start time to the event, I don't know what times I have available on that day because the Day view hasn't opened. This is extremely frustrating. On my iphone it works properly...I can go from month view to day view by tapping on the day I want to view. Why can't I do this on my iPad?? If I could go back to ios 6 I would, calendar is not impressive at all!!
Please help with any suggestions or PLEASE APPLE.....FIX THIS!!!

I just tested, and this unfortunately still seems to be a bug in the latest iOS 7.1 release of the Calendar on the iPad, which is too bad since the release notes suggest that this iOS update included both bug fixes and enhancements to the Calendar.
To my knowledge the bug has never been an issue on the iPhone version of the Calendar which behaves exactly as you would expect it should.
It seems inconcievable given the obvious broken-ness of the current behavior coupled with what I would expect is a massive number of people who use the Calendar on the iPad, but is it possible that this bug isn't on Apple's radar?
I'm happy to submit a bug report; does anyone know offhand the process for how the public can report bugs?
This has been persistent in the product for nearly six months; it's well overdue that this bug be squashed.
