My iPad does not show iOS 7 as an either on my iPad or when I use iTunes. When in iTunes it states that my iPad software is up to date (as iOS 5.1.1)

Can anyone please help and tell me what I need to do to update his phone. He is unable to update or downloaded apps or anything off of itunes at this point.

So what happened to the phone during the process? It should have gone black and restarted a couple of times and there would have been a white progress bar as the update installed. Sounds to me like you've downloaded the update file but not actually installed it. The quickest way to see version of the software is installed is to go to Settings-General-About and check Version.

i have done this twice in two other posts..
here is my problem.. i started off trying to update itunes, it failed twice and said i needed to install manually via tools.
the only place to get to tools is the pop up box that appears when you click check for updates.. if there is an available update then the pop up shows up with the quick time and itunes files to download. so i finally figured that out. i clicked on tools and manual update, four files were saved to a file. Apple mobile device support, another one similar, itunes, and another one i cant remember. I only downloaded the itunes file seeing as though thats all i needed to accomplish in the first place.
so then i restarted my computer bc you need to reboot and then reopen itunes for update to take effect. once i have itunes back open i plugged in my new 5s which i am trying to sync to my computer to get all my stuff back bc i lost my previous phone over the weekend.. once i plugged the phone in an error stating i needed to unistall the apple mobile device support and itunes and then reinstall. well i dont know where those files were originally stored on my computer AND since my itunes was updated, just not the other 3 associated files, when i click check for updates it says its up to date and then pop up containing the quick time and itunes does not pop up thus i cant get back to the tools tab to manually save the 4 files again.
so i was just going to uninstall itunes all together and then i thought well what happens if it erases all my photos apps songs etc... which would defeat the whole purpose in the first place of me trying to sync my new phone to get all my stuff back.
so i literally have no idea what to do at this point.. if you have read this you are probably just as confused as me...

Data Targets does not show up despite having Active Update Rule

I have an Info Cube of which I have created an Update Rule from a Active Info Source.
However, when I created the Info Package, the 'Data Targets' tab does NOT seem to show the Info Cube as part of the Data Target
Please advice

check if this is a Basic cube or Transactional cube. If for some reasons this has been created as a transactional cube then you won't be able to see the cube on the InfoPackage because you theoritically you won't be loading data into the transactional cubes.
let us know the details.

also i had a problem with Lion in app store on my mac mini 2009, kept saying that i need an update, many suggestions but
one that worked was disconnect my external drives to see which one caused the problem and that worked but '
does that mean i cannot use the drive anymore?
why not?
or do i just continue using and ignore the update request?
as for iphoto, i had this problem a long time ago where the dashes showed up in a square instead of a picture
but i forgot what to do about it?

HT1338 Software Update does not show 10.8.5 Security Update 2014-002

I continue to have Mac 10.8.5 updates which do not show in the App Store Software Update. In the past it was always iTunes which didn't show. Now it's this security update. Why would Software Update not show these available updates? Instead it shows Mavericks and such as available updates, but not the current available security update for my version of OS X. I'm only aware an update exists because of online forums. Is this a widespread issue that is affecting everyone on Mt Lion?

Already tried that. We set up iClound under a new user account and it did not work.
(We tested iCloud Mail with Apple Sr. support yesterday, in a new user account. It did not work. Note, iCloud via web access via Safari of course will work, accessible from any computer. That is not computer-specific. But iCloud mail would not work on my Mac, nor in the Mail app, even under a new test user account. This was mentioned briefly in previous post above.)
Regarding re-installing ML, Apple support have never suggested that. They have only suggested moving my current data to a new user account, which as I mentioned is not realistic, and now with the new iCloud problem across any new user account, would not solve the problem.
How do you mean to re-install ML? Erase the HDD, reinstall ML, then restore from Time Machine?
I think Apple has not suggested that so far because they believe the problem is in the current Mac data, user account, and not in the system. They have told me migrating to a new Mac or even to Mavericks probly would not solve the problem. But now that it's a systemic issue with iCloud -- my previous issues with Software Update not working and appeared to be user account-specific, and still are – perhaps replacing the system software or upgrading to Mavericks will be worth considering.
They are currently elevating my case to "engineering." They will be looking at system data, I believe...
It's incredibly frustrating.

You may need to put the iPad into recovery mode for it to be recognised by your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808 - you should then be able to reset the iPad and re-sync your content to it.

Image does not show in lock screen after updating to ios7

when i first downloaded ios7 the lockscreen was showing the selected wallpaper. Now it is missing. Any one else having this issue? Any ideas? I have rebooted and that did not work.

App Store says I have apps to update but opening apps does not show any apps in the update tab

Apps says there are apps to update with the number 4, I go to the App Store nothing shows up on the updates tab. When I show purchased apps tab all, I see two that need updating and tap the update button and then the apps icon drops to two but still nothing there when opening the app. Tried shutting off and turning on and did not do anything.

There have been numerous reports on the forum today regarding this issue. It seems to be an issue at Apple, but no information has been posted on the status site.

Network drive does not show after 10.8.2 update

After updating my MacBook Pro 13" to 10.8.2. Network drive doesn't show on the sidebar. My old MacBook Pro runing 10.7 on the same network work fine.

Yeah I had that problem the other day myself with a Rotuer attatched external drive. Show on my Win PCs no problem but not on my MBP running 10.8.2.
Apple, Got to love them. Or Throw the Mac out the window.

Palm Pre does not show same USB options since update

Since the latest update to the OS, my Pre no longer comes up with the options to use as a USB drive or to be able to see as a drive from my computer using an USB cable. This worked fine for many months. When I attach my phone to the USB cable, it now says unrecognized device.

I had the same problem. I found somewhere else on this forum the suggestion to right-click on Palm Desktop and choose 'Run as Administrator'. That made my Calendar and Contacts appear perfectly.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
