IOS 7 Email Signature Issues

I have been experiencing issues with showing email signatures with images on my iOS 7 and 7.1 decices. I post this topic on the iPad section because the same issue is showing up on both my iPhone 5S and my iPad Mini 2. Since my iPad is less than 24 hours old I figure this is an issue with iOS 7 since both devices are showing the same error.
I have a work email signature which has some text and 8 images. I am trying to simply use the same signature that I use for my works webmail and Outlook. So according to my research I found that it is possible to add an HTML email signature on my iPhone and iPad which are both on iOS 7.1 currently but the same issue was with 7 up to now. So I read that for email signatures that have more than just text(images and HTML) you simply email that signature to your self and copy the email signature and then paste in with that specific emails signature section under Settings - Mail - Signature and then that specific email.
When I did this the signature was able to paste just fine and display as I wanted it and even correctly used HTML image and text links that I have in it.
I was then able to reply to work emails as well as compose them with the email signature working just fine. But when I either tried to compose or reply to a work email abut the 3rd or 4th time I would see the email signature text and text html links working but each image turned into a white box. I first closed out of the settings apps to see if it was a glitch and found out that this change happens for some reason. So I then have to repete my copy and past process to get the signature back to the way I had it again.
The same thing happens ever time after about 3 tries to see if the email signature is working or not.
So my question is how can I use my html email signature on my iPhone and iPad with iOS 7.1 so the images do not turn into white boxes and stay exactly like I paste them in the email signature field?
This gets very old copy and pasting that soon each time. Does anyone have a solution that would allow me to set up the email signature how I want by a copy and paste and when I send an email with the default mail app on iOS 7.1 the email signature stays as it should?
Here is a screenshot of my email signature before and after so you can see what I am talking about (I did blur personal data to protect me)

I tried the exact same steps as the original post which lead me down the path to search for a fix.
I wanted to have a separate signature for work and one for personal use.  Each signature would display correctly in the signature setup.  I found two interesting actions in troubelshooting:
If I created the signature in Settings while the mail app was open, I could create a new email with an image displayed correctly.
If I did the above, closed the mail app and reopened it; created a new email, the image would not display.
If I created the signature while the mail app was closed; and then opened and created a new email; the image would not display.
I initially created the signature in another program and emailed it to myself so that I could copy/paste the signature into the Settings field.  After step one above; I found that I 'could' get the image to display if:
I went back to the original message I sent to myself; opened the message; created a new email from that screen (not forward or reply)
I could get the image to display also if I was in the folder of the email that contained the image in the signature.
Interesting that the mail app does not appear to be referrencing the image from the Signature settings although it does for the text and hyperlink.  The mail app appears to be referencing the image locally from within the mail app cache?  I'm not a developer, however, there is something within the program that the new message is able to reference from within to pull the image.

Why when I use my ipad to send pdf files? Only my ios devices are readable, when I use a window PC to view, it has a attachment error logo and nothing can be read. This only occurs on my ipad air with ios 7.0.4, it works well on my iphone 5s ios 7.0.4. Assistance is deeply appreciated.

    Hi autocad 360 team

  • Email Signatures With Pictures on iOS

Has anyone found a permanent solution to the issue of pasted images in Email Signatures on iOS turning into blank boxes?  I'm able to successfully paste my email signature into the settings in iOS but after a few minutes, they turn into blank boxes.
From everything I have read, there doesn't seem to be a long-term solution to this.  Anyone come across a fix for this?
    Thanks

OK - on my iPad, in portrait mode, I do not see the colored areas beneath your menu, although I do see their content. In landscape I do see the colored areas. Then I see the original logo in both portrait and landscape, I miss the next two images, then I see the next, larger image, and finally I miss the last two.
Is there a CMYK issue with PNG images?  Anyhow, under any circumstances, you should reduce the physical dimensions of ALL those images (and hence their weight).  They are much too large.

  • Image goes missing from email signature after a short time, iOS 6.

I have an image a spart of one of the email signatures in iOS 6. However it keeps going missing. Is this common, is it a result of syncing or other.

  • Email Signature Spacing Issue

I have an email signature with muliple icons. I have set up the icons to be hortizonal and next to each other. Sometimes the icons will separate and space will be added between them when an email is sent out (please see attached images for examples). I'm not sure why this is happening. Does anyone know? Possibly a replay all or forwarding issue?
    Thank you,

Has anyone come up with a solution for this? It seems to happen to me when I have an attachment.

  • Exchange 2010 - Email signature setup with Transport Rule - Want to disable the rule for iOS devices

So we decided to have a company wide email signature which pulls user info from AD to fill in the HTML template. What I have found out is that iOS devices send email as plain text which displays the HTML content with strings of text in emails send from
those devices. The only way I have found to make this work is have the user keep the default "Send from my iPhone" signature and exclude the rule based on that text in the body. Is there a cleaner option in case our users decide to change their default
    signature on their iOS devices?

I can't find a clean answer for you.
You might use the Set-TransportRule cmdlet and one of the exception clauses to look for something in the header.  I looked at an ActiveSync-generated header from my Droid (I don't have an iPhone to try this out on) and I see this:
    Message-ID: [email protected]
    The clause:
    -ExceptIfHeaderMatchesPatterns "Message-ID:\s(\S|\s)*email.android.com"
should exclude messages sent from Droids.  Of course, I can't say that it'll exclude all of them so you'll have to experiment and use trial and error.

You may need to experiment with the rule because I haven't tested it.

  • Email Signatures for iOS

Does iOS support HTML email signatures or graphics for the default signature?

    Not in the purest sense
There have been individuals who have used GMail as the default email account and then built their signature on the computer
Also if you have an account on photobucket or imageshack - you can try to link it to an image stored on there using the "img src =" command

  • Email Signature HTML Issue

    Hello,
I need some help. A few months ago I created an email signature with HTML for a client. Pretty standard code.
I created a test signature within outlook.
I located the signature files on my computer through: User/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Signatures
I could see the three signature file formats (HTML Document, Rich Text Format and Text Document). When I opened the text file, there was a bunch of code. I would navigate to the specific section and insert my custom HTML code (the code that I wrote).
    Everything worked perfectly.
However, now when I navigate to the same signature file.. and open them.. the naturally generated code for the signature file is not appearing. If I open the HTML document, and view the page source then I am able to see it.
Any ideas why it's not appearing within the Text Document?
    Thank you!

    Hello,
By "Text Document", do you mean the Plain Text signature (.txt file)?
As the name suggests, Plain Text does not support any type of formatting. For example, if you include an image in your signature, as shown below, the plain text version will be blank. So if you enter any HTML code into the Plain Text signature, it will not
    work.
If you want to modify the Plain Text signature, please refer to the following KB article and look at the "Modifying the Plain Text signature" section:

    Hope this helps.

  • How can i add a picture/logo in my email signature?

Hello. I need to add a logo in my signature. How can I do this? I tried to upload but just get a red cross...
    Thank you

My guess is the problem with the square is being caused by incomplete or broken html in the Email Signature.  I think the Signature panel doesn't know how to fix HTML.  But the email app does... so this is why you copy a complete & pre-formatted email message: entirely.
I walked through the directions above, exactly, and it works with (in my case) even oversized JPG files in the signature.
By copy and pasting the whole message body, you'll retain the html formatting &, in my case, the image too.  Running iOS 8.1 & it worked after a few tries.
Keep trying combinations... you'll get it.

  • Formatting font in email signature

Is it possible to format the font in my email signature?  At the moment it seems to be locked into a specific font and size and I can't make it smaller (like it is in my Outlook) or see any way to do it in the handset itself.  I inserted it via the desktop software in email options.  Can I edit the font from the handset?

There is no way to edit that separetly from the rest of the font on the device.

  • Email signature displayed twice

    Hi there,
I use MS Outlook on my iMac to send/receive emails. In Outlook, I have an email signature setup which consists of some text and a few images.
I've never used the mail app on the iPad so I wanted to test it by sending myself an email using Outlook on my Mac but opening the email on my iPad. When I opened the email on my iPad using the mail app, the signature was displayed twice. Can this be fixed? Note: this is def something to do with the mail app on my iPad because when I send emails to other people from my mac the signature is never displayed twice.
Can anyone help me out with this?
    Thanks.

I have the same issue in Mail.app on the Mac. When I get emails from Outlook users that have images in the signature, the image appears twice.

  • Email Signature HTML

    Hello,
How can I use an Email signature that I have created in HTML on my Iphone Signature when I send Email from my Iphone
    Thanks

I'm not talking about myspace-esque emails with odd fonts and gifs. I'm talking about creating informative emails that empower the users to include content that is meaningful. If I want to blast off a quick instruction in HTML email, I can provide headings with a bulleted list of tasks. With those tasks I can insert a picture that helps them follow along with what they need to do without having to open separate docs or navigate to a different area. Since I can do this in my email program, I don't have to use a different program to make this come together.
How is HTML a crutch? I'd like you to provide me a detailed email report with a chart and key points that will give me an overview of your argument before I dive in. I'm a busy man, I don't have time to read your wall of text. I have people to impress and bulletpoints to address. I can't risk looking like everything came from a typewriter when the world's marching forth with iWork, Office, and OpenOffice. If I can integrate these office tools in my email client? Bam, I'm there.
We aren't on a BBS, we aren't all using vi.

I don't see the point in trying to get upset over MS, either. I find that all camps have had something to offer, and are equally evil/at fault in their own way
For edification, Outlook includes options such as converting all text to plaintext because they have an overwhelming habit of trying to please everyone, which is both a minus and plus - and it's part of the reason it's hard for anyone to move away from exchange server.
OK, so the only phone I'm aware of that does HTML composition from a brand new email is Windows Mobile, and it does it in a very basic form.
However, we have recently seen iPhones, Blackberries, and Androids sending HTML as replies, and all can view HTML. Since Androids are open source, there's a ton of people busily attempting apps to solve this issue as well.
I think this points to the case that the mobile hardware is catching up to desktop hardware more than anything else, and people are trying to figure out how to make email maintain a good look on a smaller screen.
It just disappoints me mightily to see that my iPhone just got trumped by a Samsung ACE.
