I tap the camera icon and nothing happens! Argh

You open the photo app - camera roll - tap on a photo - hit the icon on the bottom left - it shoud be self explanitory from there.

How can I text pictures from my iPhone 6 to another kind of smartphone (Android, etc).? I can text photos through iMessage to other iPhone users with no problem. In Settings, my iMessage, Send as SMS and MMS Messaging are all set to `On.'

Do you have cellular data turned on? Do you have MMS enabled on your account through your carrier?

Hello all!
Before iOS 8, we had two separate photo albums - Photo Stream (for iCloud) and Camera Roll (for photos on your iPhone).
When you took a photo, the photo went into both albums. This was handy, as when i found my memory running low, I could delete photos from my Camera Roll, yet they will still be on my Photo Stream.
However, with the iOS 8 update, apparently they thought this was too confusing for everyone and therefore have merged it all into the collections/moments photo viewer.
So, my question is, is there a way that I can delete photos from my phone without deleting them from my iCloud, seeing as they are merged into one?

The easiest way I find to remove a few songs for the nano is to go into Ipod preferences and select "only sync checked songs" and the uncheck songs you don't want. In iOS 5, how do I move photos to an existing album?

On my iPhone 4 with iOS 5, I see how I can select several pictures in my camera roll and move them all to a new album. But how can I move them to an album that already exists?

If the photo is in an Album then it's in the Library, and if it's in the Library then it's in an Event, somewhere
Right Click on one of these photos and select 'Show Event' from the resultin menu. It'll bring you to the Event that contains the photo.

It's not a perfect fix, but try going into your photos app, selecting your photo and using the 'send' icon to send it to be wallpaper (the little square with an arrow poking out of it).
You'll have a bit more control than you do via the settings app, but not as much as you used to. Also, the higher resolution the image is to begin with the better your results may be.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
You could simply set each device to only use a single telephone number (settings > messages > send & receive, but this isn't really an ideal solution since the other person can always change their settings and see your messages and send messages that appear as if they are from you. There is only one real solution and that's to have your own accounts.

You each need to have separate Apple IDs and separate user accounts. Better yet, separate computers as well.

The only possibility I can think of, is to consult with an Apple Store Genius. See if there is some kind of Apple proprietary software or diagnostic tool that can do it.
I do not think you want to, but you could go to Settings-General-Reset-Erase All Content and Settings. If you decided to do that, you might be able to restore from a previous backup when you get home.

Yea, I figured it out as well but they screwed this ALL up. I get 100's of texts a day from Solar winds! NOW, to forward I have to do this on EVERY friggen text I NEED to forward to my IT staff!
Then, there's the issue on DELETING texts! In the past, you could either hit the "edit" button and then the delete the message OR swipe your finger to the right across the text (where you could see ALL your received texts) and a DELETE button would appear and you could delete texts.
I've always wanted the texts to work as the email does. You could click the edit button and then check off the text you wished to delete to make it even faster. But NO, they made it a complete pain in the a&&!
Please fix back like it was or better Apple!!!!

This was the scenario:
The first time I updated, it was only my music that was lost.
When I got my music back, I lost my apps.
When I got my apps back, my contacts, notes and photos were lost.
Now I got back everything except for my photos.
(Yes, I restored from backup several times since the first update.)
Do you think if I try restoring from back up, my photos that were taken from my ipod will be restored finally?

Do you mean, you want to delete certain photos from your iPhoto Library on your IOS device?
Photos that have been synced to iPhoto need to be removed on the device you are syncing from, then sync again. Photos that you imported from mail or the camera roll can be deleted using the menu:

If you edited a photo you need to revert the edits, before you can remove it. Otherwise it will stay in the "Edited" album.
