IOS 7 Share sheet delay

Hello everyone,
I've noticed in iOS 7, post the "point-oh" release, the share sheet is unbelievably slow to respond. Typically, I tap the button multiple times before the original tap is even acknowledged. This is consistent across apps (first and third party), across processors and screen sizes (iPad Air and iPhone 5 have same experience), and across recent updates (7.0.3 onwards).
Is this a known issue? Does anyone else have a similar problem? Has anyone resolved it?

My problem is similar. Share button brings up your usual toolbar to select the sharing avenue. I select Message, for example, and hit Next. It then takes me the screen where I type in the recepient. After I type the name in and select it from the suggestion list, the phone freezes for about 5 seconds, then resumes like everything is okay. When I finally hit send, however, the screen quickly disappears, suggesting the operation went trough. Going back to the messaging app shows that the operation DID NOT go through and the picture did not send. This also happens with sharing links from Safari. Have not tried other things yet. Hard-resetting the phone did fix the problem for a day or two, until it came back shortly. VERY annoying.

IOS 8 Mail share sheet crash when changing From address

Since upgrading to iOS 8 I've experienced a repeated crash when I try to email content from a secondary (non-default) email account using share sheets. For instance:
I'm in the NYTimes app and I hit the share button
I select Mail
a draft email comes up with the article that I want to share
I change the From address to a secondary email account set up in iOS 8 and the draft email crashes, kicking me back to the NYTimes app
This has happened every time I try to change the From address in the Mail share extension on iOS 8. I'm now running 8.1.1 and it's still happening. I even tried deleting the secondary email account and reinstalling it but I'm still getting the crash.
Is this happening to anyone else and is there a fix?

I've got 4 accounts. iCloud is the default but also an Exchange (Work), Outlook and Gmail. It crashes when I change to any of them from the default iCloud.
What also doesn't help is iOS is smart enough to switch accounts automatically depending on who you email so if I pick someone at work, it automatically changes to Exchange and crashes. So I cannot even email those people from my iCloud account via the share sheet.
I'm stuck having to copy everything and paste into the normal email application is quite a pain. I'm surprised more people aren't compaining about this or Apple isn't bothering to fix it quickly. I've even fully wiped my phone once and not restored the backup but it still doesn't work so it's clearly an OS bug. This worked fine on iOS 7.

Old iPhone showing up in Share Sheet in Maps on Mavericks

Hoping someone can help me here?
I installed MAvericks and on the share sheet i have 3 devices showing for SEND TO IPHONE, SEND TO IPAD and SEND TO IPHONE 5S, the problem is only the iPad and iPhone 5S are valid devices. The iPhone device was an old iphone that has had Find My iPhone deactivated on the device and all content erased throught the settings menu on the device as per Apple's instructions on best practice for wiping phones. Thus the old phone is factory reset and has no data or sim in it.
Whats more weird is that this old iPhone device does not show up in the Find my iPhone iOS app or Web app.
I've tried logigng in and out of icloud on the mac in settings but nothing works, any advice ???

Same issue here. I've bought a new iphone 5s, and a new ipad Air, replacing older models. I sold both old devices through Gazelle. Both old devices were running ios 7, and I made sure to turn off "find my iphone" on both and erase all content and settings before selling them. Neither old device is anymore in anyway associated with my AppleID. But both continue to show up on the share sheet in Maps on Mavericks. I've tried everything.
It's not the worst thing ever, since the new devices are both there also, and sharing from Mavericks works to both new devices. Still - bugs me that the old ones are there! It's not possible that if I send a location to one of those old devices, it actually gets there, right? Nah...
Well, if anyone figures it out, it's much appreciated!

Can't get "Click to Post" for Facebook in Notification Center or share sheet Facebook icon to work on 10.8.4

Hi all. I can't get "Click to Post" for Facebook or the share sheet icon for Facebook to work in 10.8.4. I've tried deleting and adding the Facebook account, and that doesn't seem to fix it. I also tried going to Activity Monitor and killing Notificaton Center. That didn't seem to solve the issue, either. Any other suggestions for how this might could be fixed?

I am facing the similar issues on my OSX 10.8.4, I have tried to delete and add the FB and twitter account back, but no luck. I also went to activity monitor and quit the notification, still no go. Looks like a bug issue. Any one aware of the fix, pls help. I really do not want to reinstall the OS.

No flickr share sheet when more than 99 photos are selected

flickr share sheet does not appear when more than 99 photos are selected. So does Facebook, Airdrop and others except only "add to iPhoto". They all show up when >100 photos are selected but for more they don't

Adding Reminders to safari share sheet

It would be nice to be able to add a link (from a website) to a task in Reminders from the Safari share sheet the way some other task managers implement this. Does anyone have any idea how to accomplish this?

Same here. Seems to be a bug. Hopefully ironed out with today's 8.1 update ...

Facebook share sheet wont show up

the tweet sheet shows up just fine, but the facebook share sheet wont show up.
the system is configured for fb in system preference. to be sure i deleted that configuration and reconfigured it again.
any help?

FYI, I'm on 10.8.2 and Safari 6.0.2. The share sheet would just not show up. The tweet sheet does work.
Note, even the click to post and click to tweet don't work in notification center. I can't even click on them!

What happens if two iPhones with different versions of ios share an identical ID and password?

I activated my new iPhone 6 as a replacement of my old iPhone 4, using the same apple ID and phone name. Everything the old iPhone 4 had is now on the new phone. What happens if I connect my old phone, which I believe is still registered as before, to iTunes? All the applications on 6 (ios 8.1.3) have been updated and my iPhone 4 has ios 7. If I back up the old 4 on to my iTunes account, does it affect my new iphone 6 when I up date it on the same iTunes account?

Use the new ID on her iPod but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

Tweet sheet and share sheet just dont work!

its been 4 versions of mountain lion and its amazing how a 'cover page' feature of the OS doesn't work! the tweet sheet and the share just just wont show up. definitely not from the notification center! this was a much advertised feature of mountain lion.

Can't rearrange share sheet icons(Share extensions)!

Can somebody tell me if it is just me facing the problem?
This newly added feature, share extensions seems to have a bug in holding their positions. Yes, when I rearrange these icons they revert back to their original positions. They don't seem to hold their positions on closing and opening the app. At first I observed this behaviour in both Photos and Safari. Then on checking I found that it is same everywhere.
Is there anything that I should be? Else is this a bug in the system itself?

Today I had no problem permanently rearranging extensions so that Instapaper precedes Pocket. I have no explanation for the different behavior today other than the fact that the Pocket app was updated today.

New email on iphone 6 IOS 8 is delayed and won't update until you lauch the email app

New email that is received on an iphone 6 (IOS 8) doesn't update # until you actually launch the email app. At that time the new email badge updates and VIP notifications are activated. How do I correct this so that it updates immediately as email is received.

If you are not getting updates in Mail until you launch the app, you may want to check in Settings to make sure that Push delivery is active, as noted on this page:

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and in Safari 6, I've logged into Facebook, but still don't see Facebook listed on the Share button. This is supposed to be a new feature. App crashes, eg. share sheets & twitter set up

Hey,
When i try to use the sharesheets or set up my twitter in system preferences, the app crashes on me. This could be safar, finder and system preferences itself. Is there a way to temporarily fix these or must i wait till there is a software update for this?

The end of your report mentions reserves VM space. If you go into Disk Utility in Applications/Utilities, select our drive in the sidebar and check how much free space is available.
You need a minimum of 10% free but 15-20% is recommended.

IOS 7 very delayed and sluggish syncing mail, Notes, Reminders

My apple mail is extremely slow to respond and update. I deleted emails on my iPad over an hour ago and my Mac still has them. Everytime I try to update my email I have to type in my icloud passwoed again!
My reminders and Notes are also not syncing. All of this since IOS7. Worked fine before.
This is simply unacceptable.

Thanks AmishCake, I have already tried that and it doesn't work. It goes off randomly, most times I am unable to type more than a couple of words. Sometimes it doesn't vanish till 4 or 5 words, so if I am lucky I manage to get off a message. Looks like I have to wait for Apple to fix the bug.
Any other ideas?

IPhone 6 with iOS 8.02 delayed reaction after touching a screen item

I can select an item and it does not change immediately, so i press sit again and maybe again. Any thoughts on this?

I have the same problem on my iPhone 6 plus!
I took my phone to the genius bar today because my camera wasn't focusing, and when I got my phone back, after they replaced the camera, the touch id was not working at all. I can't even add new fingerprints, because it keeps saying it failed, yet it won't even let me try to add it. SO STRANGE! My reachability feature stopped working, too.
Also, my wallpaper was blurry, try to reset it and it said it couldn't download the picture from my iCloud. There is also an update available, but I cannot download it because I get an error message.
I tried all the same things you did, and it was to no avail.
Going back to the genius bar tonight.
