IOS 7 Texting is no longer instant as letters are preseed comes in a rush'

Just downloaded IOS 7 looks good but using the key pad is not instant letters are delayed and come in a rush at the end.  can anyone help me solve this problem

i put IO7 on my 4 and works fine

  • IOS 8 Text Box Jumping and Scrambling

    Since I installed iOS 8, my iPad Air functions erratically in Safari. The problem is most evident in Facebook when accessed via Safari  (I do not like and will not use the iPad Facebook app), but it may appear anywhere there is a text box for entering comments.
    1. While typing in a text box, the iPad will suddenly flash for no apparent provocation and the cursor will jump to the start of the box, shoving previously typed text ahead of it.
    2. After typing an entry into a text box and double-checking for accuracy, I hit "Return"... only to see that some of the letters are out of place. For example, what had been "White Plains, NY" may read "PWhite lNains, Y."
    Alas, I cannot reproduce the problem at will. Its occurrence is frequent, but utterly random. I have tested for speed of typing, for use of shift key, for available memory (there is plenty) and anything else I can think of. In typing something no longer than this paragraph, I may find myself repositioning the cursor a dozen or more times.
    I'm running iOS 8.1.3, but it has been a problem since the start of 8. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix?

    I'm sorry to hear you have been having this issue with your iPad. I know how frustrating intermittent but persistent issues can be. If you continue to have unusual user interface (UI) issues, in particular issues with typing or text entry, you may want to make sure you have your data backed up to iTunes, then do a factory restore of your iPad (which should install a clean copy of the OS), then test in that default config if possible before restoring your data.     If this doesn't resolve it you most likely have a hardware failure. Fortunately, your phone is in warranty, so if you take it to an Apple store they will replace it.

    I checked with SanDisk's own online support and they indicate that they have notified Apple of the issue.
    According to SanDisk, the problem lies with Apple not having the iOS 8 version of the Safari browser having DRM decoding enabled that the Media Drive relies upon to decode and play iTunes DRM titles. Non DRM encoded videos will play in the browser.
    DRM audio is not effected as this is handled by the native iOS music app.
    As of the date of this post SanDisk have not been given a timeframe by Apple for this issue to be resolved.
    I hope that Apple resolves this issue quickly as I have a large collection of DRM video titles on a 128Mb memory card installed in the Media Drive that I am unable to view.

    don´t be worry, this would not be a problem.
    You have to take the same Aplle ID on both devices, then you can sync them via iTunes by using all universal apps on each device, create playlists, albums and all the things you need and sync it, no problem...

    i just contacted apple support and the solution is the following!!!!!
    connect the iphone to your computer  and open itunes
    then click on itunes store at the left side of the screen
    then click at the right top side of your itunes screen on your email address (or id that is displayed there in the black bar)
    choose log out
    then go to the top of the screen with the search option in itunes where you can search in the store and choose an app that you have not yet installed.
    then you get the security questions also in itunes, fill the them out and after you have done that you are asked to log in again
    now when you install an app that works (it is then on your computer still)
    open the app store on your iphone and choose the updates button and install the app from the cloud
    now when you install new apps also from the app store on your iphone it works again!!! and you are no longer asked about the security questions
    (the other option they told me (that i did not have to use)  is: go to settings/general/ all the way at the bottom of the screen choose make new settings restore networksettings and choose yes)

    If your computer doesn't see the phone when you plug it in, you may have to take it to an Apple Store.

    Used to be that when I was in the mode for some country or classical music I could go and shuffle the entire genre available on my phone and it would play. However after updating to iOS 7 that is no longer avaiable so far as I can tell.

    I'm having the identical problem on my iPhone 4 after upgrading to IOS 7--no ability to update apps or download new apps.  Here is what Apple tech support emailed to me:

    ... to help you better with this issue I would request you to please try this steps given below to resolve your issue.
    Please follow this steps:
    1) Double tap the home button
    2) Hold down on an icon
    3) Tap the red "X" on iTunes, and the App Store.
    4) Tap Settings > Store > Tap your Apple ID, and choose sign out
    5) Tap Settings
    6) Tap General
    7) Tap Reset
    8) Tap Network Settings
    Once it has been closed with multi-tasking, and you have rebooted the device in the network settings reset, please sign in, and try again.

A technical Advisor will be able to tell you about Apple's complimentary and fee-based support.     Mildly amusing that the instructions for force-closing a program are the IOS 6 instructions, which do not work on IOS 7. 
    Otherwise I'm having a little success with this.  Some apps (not all) are updating. It seems that a few more apps update each time I go through the process (close everything, sign out, and either reset or reboot, then go to the app store, sign in and try to update all).  So far it has been a very lengthy, iterative process.

    The opening screen is the same as when I first starting using it, with "welcome" in various languages.
    I have gone through the operations requested, iCloud, etc. but at the very end I get my home screen for about 1 second, then the machine shuts down.
    I backed up and synced the iPad before installing iOS 8.3, and tried a restore, but it made no difference.
    You guys out there have never let me down yet!  I hope you can help!

    You're not alone in this problem.  My iPad Mini 3 was working great until the iOS 8.3 update, which kicked into the same loop you're describing.  Sounds like at least one person has had luck with factory restore.  Check out the thread here:  Anyone else seeing issue with iOS 8.3 update on iPad Mini 3?

    Go to your Google translate bookmark.
    Type in a word then tap whatever language.
    Make a select for the language to be translated to by tapping Dutch (or whatever language you see in the box all the way to the right. You should see a language menu.
