IOS 7 wallpaper pics

Hey guys I'm just wondering of any of you are having the same problem as me. When i go to set a wallpaper on my 4s it automatically zooms in on the pic so there is no black space on the edges. It also won't let me zoom out anymore than it is. I want to be able to zoom out on my pic so i can set the backround the way i want. does anyone have any awnsers?

You see how with the new update the icons move as you tilt the phone to give you that "fancy" 3D look, well because of this the wallpaper gets distorted.
I turned this option off, and the wallpaper resizing issue went away
Here is how to turn that dumb 3D option off (which also drains your battery):
Navigate to the iOS 7 Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Reduce Motion -> ON
Yep, that's all.

HT1414 iOS 7 does not let me resize my wallpaper pics to normal size to make a smaller wallpaper.

iOS 7 is a good idea. But for apple consumers that are familiar with computers this is a sad upgrade. This was forcefully released with many issues. First insure is my air play. I can only airplay sounds and my IPAD 2 plays the picture. Second issue is that the iOS system lags. Third when accessing photos to make a photo a wallpaper, it does let you move but it does not let the photo be resized like the iOS 6. Another issue is that the apple store keeps showing me updates, but there are not any updates to update. The auto brightness does not respond even when placing my hand over the sensor. This is a disgrace for apple users. How are these issues going to be resolved? Do we have to go back to IOS6? I have rebooted many time is the fix for this issue? Remind me of windows vista, *****. Please fix.

IOS Wallpaper Scale/Zoom Issue Returns in iOS 7.1

Is anyone experiencing the photo zoom/scale for wallpaper issue again where they cannot fit scale down the photo subjects to fit into the iPad's frame?
This used to be fixed by turning off the Parallax effect via Settings > General > Accessibility > Reduce Motion ON
However, it seems like Apple has broken it again.
Can anyone else confirm this? I just tried changing wallpaper on iOS 7.1 and cannot get the photo to fit as if I was looking at it from the Photos App.

Nope, it's broken for me. Images with resolutions much larger than the iPads native resolution won't scale down. You can easily scale up, just not down. It's very aggravating that this remains an issue in 7.1
And, I'm sick of hearing people say it's working when it doesn't. It's not just my device. I've confirmed it on numerous devices new and old, iPhone and iPad. Not being able to scale an image down when you could prior to iOS7 is not "better". Losing capability is not "better".

How do I get wallpaper pic off my ipod, if it's not in my camera roll anymore?

When I updated my iPod touch, my photos dissappeared. The photo that is my wallpaper is no longer in my camera roll, I don't have it on my computer anymore either. It is a picture of my cat that recently passed away and I want to get it off my iPod as a useable file. Please help!

Downloaded a wallpaper pic, wanted to see how it would look full size, so clicked off my tool bars, but also clicked off nav bar in error. now cannot get any of them back . HELP PlEASE.

Camera Roll pics not showing in iPhoto....

Plus, I read somewhere here about deleting any pics in Camera Roll that I didn't take with the iPhone 3G, so I deleted the picture that normally shows on the iPhone when it wakes up and I still can't get my photos taken with the 3G to appear (as they always did until just now) in iPhoto 8x for importing. I don't think I did anything unusual to cause this problem, so don't know how to fix it. I will try repairing disk permissions just in case but can't imagine that will change things. Please...can someone help!?

yes.....because someone had a similar problem (of iPhoto not importing from iPhone 3GS) that was solved by removing the wallpaper picture from the Camera Roll (hope I can get it back somehow!). It didn't import before I deleted the wallpaper pic and it doesn't import now. Strange....it always opened iPhoto and asked to import when I plugged in the iPhone before now.

Lost my Favorite Wallpaper after updating to 4.0.2 (Green Frog Picture)

Has anyone found that after updating to 4.0.2 a lost wallpaper pic? I used to use the Green Frog Picture but now it is missing from the wallpapers. Is this correct? Has all my wallpapers been replaced with new ones from the new software?

Sell it to someone in the U.S. ( where it can be used) and then buy one locally from an official seller.
Only AT&T in the U.S. could unlock it, but they do NOT do this.
There is no legit way to unlock a U.S. iphone.

How to get background pics on main display where Aps are??/

I'm wondering how to put a picture as my background on my main display? I know how to get it for my background when it locks. I do not see an option to display it when I go to set/save the picture in my photos.
I have gone to Settings-> Wallpaper-> pic the picture and save, but it does not give me anymore options besides just having it as my locked background picture!
Please help! I have updated my phone today to the newest version!

Thanks for your quick responses. I thought i had the 3GS but i looked at my box and its only the 3G so maybe this is why I don't have an option for background for different backgrounds only the one as the screen saver when its locked boo! to that!!!

"move and scale" to set Wallpaper?

the picutre I chose from my album is magnified, how do I scale it down to size? Is it the same way for when I look at websites, using my thumb and pointer finger? This method does nothing when I try to set my wallpaper pic!!! Can someone please advise? Thank you.

I looked in the manual and there is nothing for this issue. Ch. 3 Basics, page 24 - would this be the section to refer to? it says nothing :-(

Boots to desktop pic and dock but no top bar

I can get to my wallpaper pic, the dock, but nothing after that. I get the message that spotlight quit unexpectedly and it won't go beyond that. It was running sluggishly this morning with many spinnig colored balls. I did a software update, the 3 latest ones, and this boot up issue started. I did a pram reset with no change. Any ideas?

I ended up at the Genius bar this afternoon, after they verified the HD was okay, they did an archive and reinstall, no data was lost. My computer was still running sluggishly though, which it was before I tried the updates. I hate to admit this, but my HD was almost full. I only had 5 GB left, not enough space for the updates when I tried again at home. I believe it barely had enough room for the update when I tried it the first time and when it tried to boot up, it couldn't. I deleted over 10 GB, the updates installed and all is well. I meticulously delete data on our hard drives at work for our MR machine because of learning the hard way what happens when a drive is over 95% full, too bad I didn't bring that lesson home with me. Thanks for trying to help. Lesson learned.

Wallpaper moves

I just got the Droid 4 and I am new to smartphones. I downloaded my own background wallpaper pic and put it on the "home" screen. When I touch/scroll on the home page the wallpaper moves. Any way to stop that?

This is normal for the android smartphones. The wallpaper shift as you move to a different homescreen.

4s camera problem ...pics not opening / showing white ?

So heres a strange thing ! several times now ive taken pics with my 4s .... when i click on photos they all show in the small icons but sometimes when i try to open them its all white !! Sometimes when i swipe to the next picture i sometimes get a split second image but then white again !! Rebooting doesnt help

IPad no longer boots / can't restore

So I was was streaming an audio feed through Safari and downloading some wallpaper pics via the "backgrounds" app, when suddenly everything stopped working. I was able to shutoff the iPad, but when I rebooted all I got (and continue to get) is the flashing apple.
- I tried putting the iPad in DFU / recovery mode (using the iphone instructions) but to no avail.
- When connected to my PC, iTunes did recognize it and I was able to run a restore, but still nothing but the blinking apple when I attempt to boot.
Suggestions?

You may have a defective one and you'll need to return it for replacement, which I hear here that they're very good about.
But try this. First, plug it in to the recharger for a half hour. Then, with it still charging, do the normal reboot procedure. Press and hold the top side black power button and while holding that, press and hold the round Home button below the screen. But keep holding these down, even if you see that normal "Slide to power off" thing. Keep holding down until the screen blanks and you see the Apple apple logo. Then let go of the buttons. It should reboot by itself. That's a hard (or cold) reboot. If it still has problems after that then your only alternative is to bring it or send it in. Sorry. Hope it reboots for you.
