Ios 7 wont sync audio books
Cant sync audio books. Initially it appeared to sync some of the books but they couldn't be played on the Iphone. Now it just hangs at step 5 and computer has to be re-booted

I can not sync audio books to my blackberry- which is one of the reasons I got this phone! I have not been able to get some of the music from Roxio or WMP either? Is there an application I need to download?
I have not tried audiobooks yet, but when you plug in your BB to your desktop, you should enable mass storage. If you do, your computer will recognize it as an external drive in My Computer. All you will need to do is click on your audiobook, and drag it into your BB. I hope this works.

I have purchased books from itunes audiobooks for some reasons they wont sync to my ipod everytime I try and sync it tell me its done when it isnt as there are no books! They have been purchased and downloaded but jues wont sync. Anyone had this problem?
Have you double checked to make sure these Audiobooks are configured to sync to your iPod from under the iPod's Books configuration tab in iTunes? This is assuming that the audiobooks are already stored in your iTunes library and appear under the Books category.
To access this configuration tab, plug in your iPod and select it from under the Devicessection in the left hand pane of iTunes to bring yourself to the iPod's Summary tab. Now locate the Books tab across the top in the main iTunes window and select it. Here you can configure what and how audiobooks are synced to the device.
If you make any changes to this tab, make sure to hit the Apply button on in the lower right hand corner. This will sync the updated changes to your device.

Help with syncing audio books to my phone
I have an iPhone and I'd like to be able to sync certain audio books to it but not others. I have a ton of books and do not need all of them at one time. Is this possible?
Make a playlist for each book, then sync whichever playlist you like.

I downloaded an audio book to my iPhone ($9.99) and I synced my iPhone with my brother's MacBook and it deleted the audio book from my iPhone and it uploaded it to my brother's MacBook. How do I get the audio book back into my MacBook?Burn it onto a CD.

Can you sync audio books pause points between devices

I use different devices to listen to audio books, i.e. iPhone, iPad, Mac Pro...
Is there a way to keep the pause points synced between devises. i.e. listening to an audio book in car on iPhone, getting home, going to your desktop and resuming where you left off on your iPhone.

Hi, i have this audio book from my brother,
When i dropped it in itunes library,it just add to the music list like a song,
I want it to be shown in the AudioBooks page,
when i synced my IPOD even there the audiobook is in the MUSIC directory,not in the Audiobooks directory,

what i do is connect my ipod , itouch , to my itunes and i believe its right click and the info for the track comes up and one of those selections is voice , music or audio book . Change each to audio book and that works .

Ios 5 wont sync genius info or artwork for music. it will just sit their for hours
I have ios 5 on my 3rd gen 32gb ipod touch and i cant play music or completely sync my ipod. The only thing the worlds greatest portable music player can't do is play my music. All my songs appear but when i hit play, it goes to the screen and shows that its playing yeat the time bar stays at 0:00. every single song is doing it.
i have the same problem but i have ios 5.01. how do you unsync? please help, thanks

Ever since I upgraded my iPhone 4 to ios5 I cannot sync my photos from my PC. I've tried rebooting the iPhone, deleting the "iPod photo cache" folder in the photos driectory on my PC, and even restored a backup. Nothing has worked. All I get are place-holder icons in my albums (on the iPhone) for each album that was supposed to be sync'd. Tapping the album displays "No Photos or Videos". Anyone find a different solution?
I agree with Allan's logic and I also understand danmouer's frustration.
Of course Apple tested this extensively, and of course no system is guaranteed to have zero problems. iOS 5 is being used by millions of people without any problems (I am one of those). When you come to a forum, you'll only read about "all the problems" because that is what people come to talk about.
I have used Windows products (desktop and mobile) dating back to 1995 (so, every version from 95 until Win 7 - including Windows Mobile). I'll tell you - the problems there are far more common and often far worse.
It's really frustrating to be the one that is dealing with a problem, and I'll be honest - there are times when I am so frustrated, that I too think - What are you doing, Apple!!!! What about your motto 'It just works!'? Gsd$%"/& !!!!
But, once I cool off a bit, I realize Apple makes some pretty amazing products with outstanding quality.
So danmouer, I understand your frustration (I've been there with both Windows and Apple products), and I think that is all you were expressing with your post. A man's gotta vent, right?

Itunes 9.2, ipod touch 2g 8gb, ios 4, Wont sync, itunes doesnt recognize
Ive been through 100s of help sites and discussions, none of which have matched my issue. I have an Ipod Touch, 8GB 2g. Just bought it not too long ago. I updated to iTunes 9.2 (Please note my 3.1.3 firmware loaded itouch worked on itunes 8.2 but not the updated 9.2). Here's the issue. Whenever I connect my itouch to itunes, it doesnt give me any errors. Infact, on the left pane under devices, it shows my ipod, but the only right click options I have are "Eject". In the right pane, in the center of a big white space, it says "iPod" and thats all. There's no restore/update/backup sync buttons nothing. There's NOTHING. Ive tried putting into recovery mode. Ive tried updating to iOS4. Ive tried putting it into recovery mode in iOS4, still nothing. Same issues... and now after updating to iOS4 im stuck in "Connect to iTunes" on my ipod. Cant connect my ipod to my other computer with itunes 8.2 Its Horrible. What do I do now?
i'm encountering the same problem. just bought my ipod touch 4g 32G a couple of days ago. it took a long time for my itunes to recognize the new device & when it did i got an error msg saying that it won't sync. im running on 7 ultimate too. i've tried restoring it to no avail. i tried unplugging/re-plugging it from the port but it will still not show up in itunes. i've tried disabling the firewall & enhanced usb just as it was suggested in other help forums & still no luck. (i'm no computer savvy so i just rely on the help forums...its a hit or miss thing) i hope there's a kind soul who would be able to help me/us who are stuck in this issue.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)

I have purchased an audio book from iTunes with my iMac.
Now I wanted to listen to it on my iPhone so I proceeded to transfer the purchase and looked for the book in the purchased section of the store in the iTunes on my iPhone but it did not show up.
Does anyone know why and how I can transfer the audio book purchased on my iPhone so I can listen while away from the desk?

I've just purchased my very first audiobook from itunes as I'm driving from the midlands to Newcastle this afternoon. I thought a book would make the journey more manageable. But now I can't find how to pay the book back! I can see it in my itunes library and play in on my computer, but not on my device (which I have synced since making the purchase). Can anyone tell me where my audiobook is hiding please? Thanks
