IOS 8.0.1 Has Been Pulled by Apple

Due to the stuck at "No Service" and breaking of Touch ID, Apple pulled the iOS 8.0.1 update from the update servers - it is no longer available.
I wonder how quickly they are going to be able to come out with an iOS 8.0.2 and fix all these phones that can no longer work????
Looks like the update was available for around 80 minutes before they pulled it

Apple support advised me to restore using iTunes but that triggered a 1.95GB download that's going to take about 3 hours on my rubbish internet connection. This was before the update was pulled. Am I downloading 8.0.1 or 8? Should I cancel the hour's worth of download that's already completed or let it run? How do I tell which version is downloading? It just says 'iPhone software update' in the iTunes download box.

Yes. Your product list shows that you're currently running iOS 7.1.2, and whenever you make a major update, i.e. iOS 7 to 8, it's a large file which can take a while to download.

Has your phone ever been hacked or jailbroken. This error message is what usually shows up for that. Are you using a supported carrier for the iPhone, or did someone hack the phone to unlock it to be used on another carrier. If that is the case, then there is no help you can get here as discussing hacked/jailbroken devices is not allowed.

My podcast has been pulled from the iTunes Store after 9 months!!

I made no changes and the bandwith and the feed are working ok. What happened? I was in the top 10 of the tech section in Italy for months, and i had all 5 stars reviews! I'm really worried, what can i do?
If i try to resubmit it first said that my session expired and now it said that the url was already submitted. I need it back online sicne it's part of my business!

As far as I can see (not speaking Italian) your podcast doesn't have any of the sort of content which would get it removed (unacceptable or illegal content, copyright breach, and so on) so its removal is probably a mistake.
I'm sorry they've been unhelpful. Did you email them at [email protected] ? - they have shown a tendency to being fairly helpful recently, whereas if you tried iTunes Support I wouldn't expect you to get much sense out of them. If you didn't use that address, give it a try.
Otherwise your only option is to submit it again: you'll need to give it a new title (you can change it back once it's been accepted) and you should change the feed title so the UTRL is different, though that may be difficult with Podbean: you would probably need to start a new account there.

I have now used Everweb to transfer a website from iWeb & am now working on transferring a second website.

Did you recently update OS X? The icon indicates you have a version of iTunes that is not compatible with the version of OS X you now have installed. The current version is Apple iTunes 11.0.2, and it's compatible with 10.6.8.

I just realized that I wrote that I installed from app store originally, but I must correct that statement. I never paid for the app so it must have come preinstalled on my 2011 iMac. I was confused since the update is through the store so I assumed I downloaded it. Sorry for any miscommunication.
So to be clear, even though I have never remotely administered / accessed my computer and I no longer have ARD on my computer, it is normal to have the client update appear in my App Store. Is that correct?

To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.

How long it takes depends partially on your bank. Once they release it, it could take several days for the authorization to roll off of your account. It is generally not a problem unless you're using a debit card, which will lock the funds in your checking account and make them unavailable, which I presume you did or you wouldn't be worried about it.
This is not unique to Apple. That's a problem when using debit cards for any purchase. Several years ago, when gas prices spiked to $4 a gallon here, gas stations would routinely authorize and hold upwards of $100 every time you tried to pay at the pump. Created some major headaches for the working stiffs just trying to get to their jobs and pay the bills.

I recently downloaded TV Premium from the App Store under the impression that this was a bona fide app that had been scrutinised by Apple. Of course now it turns out to be a scam and any trace of it has been removed by Apple. I have been billed for this and want my money refunded. The item I purchased has been mirepresented and subsequently withdrawn. Even my app store record of purchase has been deleted.. Does anybody know how I go about getting my money back? The Apple IPad contact options are unfathomable!
I am not bothered particularly about the money (69p) but more about the principle of this and the Apple cover up!

Is this AppleCare you are calling? If it is, you need to call back. They are there to help you with technical issues, specifically ones with your computer. Or, are you emailing iTunes customer service?
