IOS 8.02 and picture placement in Blogger.

I was keeping a blog while I was overseas using my iPad and using Blogger. Since Apple got rid of iPhoto for IOS, I was not able to place my pictures in Blogger. I don't know if its Blogger's fault by not knowing that the files have changed or what. You can't copy and paste pictures either because blogger requires you to upload pictures from an AP, not from memory. Does anyone know how to contact Blogger with these issues? Or does Apple keep developers informed of their major changes. I had to wait until I got home to have access to my pictures on my computer. I will never carry an iPad overseas again.

Same issue here. iPad Air, WiFi, iOS 8.0.2.
Other devices within a few feet have no trouble whatsoever, and my iPad shows a good signal, but throughput drops to nothing at random intervals. This only started a couple of days ago after updating from the last version of iOS 7 to 8.0.2.
The solution is NOT in the generic "WiFi Troubleshooting" link above, all of which I've tried several times as a matter of course. Also tried switching from 5GHz to 2.4 GHz band, which had no effect. And it's an intermittent problem, so of course it would be very difficult to replicate in a support environment.
100% certain it's not the router. And while there's a chance it *could* be a hardware issue with the iPad, that'd be a mighty big coincidence for it to have started after updating to iOS 8.0.2.

Unless I am in private browsing mode some pages won't load properly. Data is moved and pictures located in strange places. Did a setting get changed? And if so, where do I go to change it back?

Unless I am in private browsing mode my home page, statesmanjournal.com, and a number of other pages come up 'jumbled' with wording all over the place and pictures out of place. This just started happening yesterday. My laptop is ok with firefox, only desktop effected.

I understand, as that was the place I would change it before 8.3 but now that option of Mail Days to Sync is not available? Any idea why that would be?

You cannot customize the Safari toolbar on the iPad.
What you can do on the iPad is go to Settings>Safari>Always show Bookmarks Bar>On and that will add a bookmarks bar on to the Safari browser.

You did import these important photos over to an alternative storage medium, just like you would with any digital camera, right?

I have upgraded my iphone 3gs to ios 5.1 and backed up my photos etc on to my computer, but only half of my pictures were restored

I recently upgraded my iphone to ios 5.1 and before I did this I backed up all my photos etc on to my itunes. When the upgrade was complete, all of my photos and videos had not been restored and some of them will not display or play.
I did a restore from my back up and approx only half of them were restored.

The iOS5 upgrade has made a mess of the bluetooth connectivity. iPhone4 was paired perfectly to 2012 VW GTI and played all playlists fine. After upgrade, can see the song, see the timer counting down as if it is playing, but no sound. AND iPhone 4s paired paired with 2008 BMW handsfree telephone before the update, now I can't use the phone in the car. WHAT GIVES??? Anyone with ideas out there???

You need to copy the iTunes liubrary from your Old computer, or its Backup, to your New computer...

From your Old Computer... Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..

Check Settings > Messages and make sure MMS Messaging is "On".
Check Settings > General > Cellular and be sure Cellular Data is "On".

AirDrop is showing the wrong name and picture on my wife's phone....It is showing my name and picture. She has an iPhone 5 and I just updated her to iOS7 about an hour ago, same time as I did mine. Is it because we are connected with the same Apple ID and if so, how do I fix it? She is annoyed by it and not seeing where I can change it in the settings is beginning to annoy me. Help!

I don't think that's the issue. I'm having the same problem. My wife, my son, and I all use the same Apple ID, but we have different email addresses and phone numbers for facetime and imessage (we've never had an issue with imessage or facetime). Today, I updated my phone and ipad to ios 7 and tried to experiment with airdrop. On both devices it showed my son's name. Then my son updated his ipad and we tested airdrop again. His ipad shows up on my phone and ipad with his name as well. The email address that I use for Apple ID is not associated with him on any device. His name is not listed on our Apple ID account. One of them shows his photo that he uses for his facebook profile, but the other's just have a gray circle with his first initial. I'm hoping it's just a bug that will get fixed soon, but if anyone knows a fix, please share.

If I did the IOS 8 update and didn't back my phone up before the update, does that mean all of my pictures are gone? While I was doing the update it told me to plug my phone into iTunes. I did so and then it said my phone needed to be "restored" but it said I was going to get my pictures, messages, music and contacts back later on. Now being one day later I did not get any of that back.

If you don't have a backup then you can't get the data back.
It's not typical for an update to require a restore, but for a handful of people the update gets interrupted, and this happens.

Pictures come and go places an X where picture should be with each update.

Everytime i publish to iweb i don't know what pictures will appear and what pictures won't. Pictures that appeared once now disappear, and pictures that had an X will now appear. I'm using version 1.1.1 on 10.4.7 I did a complete reinstall of the OS not a month ago. All permissions are correct on computer. iPhoto library has been rebuilt to make sure it was a communication error with iphoto. I do a full republish and some pictures will appear and some won't. It's a pure guessing game. Link to blog below. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the blog is used daily.

Hey this is really strange. I see the X's just like you say...doesn't seem to be a caching issue then.
You know how on your main blog index page, the photos and the text excerpts are pulled automatically from your blog entry pages by way of the image and text placeholder boxes (in the blog entry pages)? It almost looks like on the entries with X's that you have left those image boxes blank. That can't be right, though. You say you see photos there inside iWeb and they just don't publish? Strange. How are you bringing in your photos into iWeb? Drag and drop? Or media browser? And what format are you pictures - jpg?
If I didn't know that you had already tried it, I would be recommending that you do a "Publish ALL to .Mac" and see if that fixes things. Why don't you try to "Publish to Folder" on your desktop. Then click on the index.html file inside the generated folder. Do the same X's appear???

Yeah, you are kind of in a Catch-22 now. If you can't put in your lock screen passcode, then you could try to follow the same steps you would follow if you had put it in too many times:
iOS: Device Disabled
However, not sure if that would allow you to get around the lock screen passcode, and if it wouldn't, then you would have to place it in Recovery mode, which erases it....
Just curious, though - when you hook it up to your computer, are you not able to execute the instructions for importing your photos and videos in the first link I posted?
Also, you always can start your new phone set up and click on "Restore from iCloud Backup to see if you have a recent iCloud backup you can set up your new phone with. If it is a recent one, then it should have your pictures and videos:

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.
iOS: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.
