You don't need to start a new thread to continue a conversation, you can just tack onto the original one. The settings I referred you to are for the Blackberry, since that's the device which is not receiving mail: anything which is working can be left alone.

ICloud email sync problem on mac os x mavericks

Hi,
I have a serious problem with my iCloud email on my mac. I have been using iCloud email for few years now and I never had this problem. But I am having the problem after upgrading my iMac to latest mac os x mavericks 10.9.3 couple of months back.
The problem is, when someone sends me an email, it comes to my iCloud mail immediately with no issues. That means if I login to my iCloud mail through a web browser, I see the email there. But that email may not appear to my iMac mailbox. Occasionally some emails arrive but some not. Some emails come lately some not at all.
So the mailbox on my mac is totally unusable because I am sure not all emails are seen there, so I have to keep logging into mail through browser to check if there is a new email.
I am using me.com email address.
Any help is appreciated.

ICloud email display problems

Hi there,
Recently emails sent to my iCloud account don't appear to open in full from my mac. I have no problems on my iphone but on my mac, the body of the email appears blank. Anyone else with the same issue and if so, any way of fixing this?

IOS 6.0.1: iCloud email Push don't work with particular Apple ID

The problem is iCloud mail push services do not work with my primary iCloud account. I have to use fetching for iCloud mail, otherwise I don't receive email notifications.
I tried deleting Apple ID from the device (iPad 3rd gen) and configured it again. It didn't help. Then I reinstalled firmware on the device and restored existing iCloud backup. Still no luck. I erased all content and settings and created a fresh Apple ID. Surprisingly, Push on the new account worked well. I configured my primary iCloud account on the fresh setup to sync both primary and new iCloud mail. The new one pushed emails, the primary not.
It seems the problem persist only with my existing Apple ID. Any fix or workaround available?

My emails via my Cloud account have always worked well until 14.15 this afternoon when I kept getting messages that my settings and password were incorrect. This happened on both my iPad and iPhone. I have gone into my apple Account and reset password, I have even deleted cloud accounts from both devices and when reinstalling added new password and it was accepted as correct. YET the email accounts still won't let me have access to my mail and the same message is appearing that the password in incorrect. Is this an Apple issue and why has it happen suddenly today ? Please help somebody?

I reset my password just to be certain. I can also log in on iCloud.com, but I cannot access my emails online, on the phone or in Mail.app.
On mac and phone it gives me wrong password error, on iCloud.com it gives me "Cannot load Mail" error, which I have submitted to Apple. But here's the info anyway:

I'm not sure why we haven't been effected by it until now though.

ICloud email adress problems

Hi there. Absolute newbie here.
A weird question that I am not sure anyone will be able to help me with.
Basically my friend had an iCloud account on his MAC and we created an email address for me to use once. So he had his original @me address; [email protected] and created another one for me after. You can create 5 I think. Mine was [email protected] He has now deleted it and I want to use it for my iCloud account as I have just bought a MacBook Pro but it keeps saying the email address is already taken. We tried adding it again under his account and it will let him. Deleted it again then added it again and it worked.
He doesn't have it on his account anymore but it still won't let me use it?
Any ideas anyone?

No Password for iCloud email Freaks out iPad

Hi there,
I just synced my email accounts with my iPad 2 (current iOS). All went well except I can't get any emails from my iCloud service (Irony?). I have had this apple ID for years, and I used it to sign up for iCloud. When I signed up for iCloud, it asked me what email address I wanted for my iCloud email, so i picked one. At no time was I asked for a password. If I look at my iCloiud email account in Mail, I have no password in the feild, and it checks and retrieves my iCloud email, no problem. My iPad, however, won't touch my iCloud email because there's no password. I tried my Apple ID password. Nope. I tried to manually addiing my iCloud email to the iPad, after deleting the synced account,but it won't add an account until a password has been entered. What do I do?

Fixed it by Deleting the entire iCloud service from my iPad and then signed in to iCloud from the iPad again.

How do I fix that my preferred@icloud email is attached to the wrong Apple ID?

I have two Apple IDs. I use one of them for iTunes and the AppStore to purchase music and aps. The other is my main Apple ID for my iPhone and iPad, and I have purchased extra iCloud storage for that Apple ID.
My problem is that I have an @iCloud.com email address attached to my "main" Apple ID that I no longer want. Unfortunately, my preferred @iCloud.com email address somehow got attached to the Apple ID I use for iTunes - where I don't want it!!
Is there any way to 1) get rid of the @iCloud email I don't want? I think the answer to that is No - from what I've read, I have to create an alias email on my main Apple ID and then designate that as my mail @iCloud email. Problem I'm running into dong that is that my preferred iCloud email address has gotten attached to the other (iTunes) Apple ID, so I can't use it as an alias on the main Apple ID. It seems the solution is to delete one of the Apple ID's - my preference would be the iTunes one. But if I do that, am I correct in assuming I will lose all my purchased music and apps?
Anybody have a solution/suggestion for me? Seems everything I try to do would only dig me in deeper.

This is a somewhat recent change, but frankly there is no reason to constantly be logging out of one Apple ID and logging in with a different Apple ID.
If multiple people with different Apple ID's are regularly using the same computer, either authorize the computer for each of the Apple IDs or created unique logins on the computer for each user and have each sign in with their appropriate Apple ID.

delete mailbox - how else do you propose to do that. Unless by "deleting mailbox" you mean something else.

Problem setting up an iCloud email

I'm trying to set up an iCloud email on my iPad. I typed in the email address that I would like to use. When I hit DONE it says "there was a problem turning on your email. Please try again later"
It's been doing this for the past 2 days.

Do you have an apple id? If not at bottom of icloud will say create a free icloud account and just follow the steps. If you already have an apple id you need to turn on notes or mail in icloud and it will prompted you to create a free @icloud.com attached to your current apple id. If you get error message or stop on a screen tell us so we can help. Also you can always check with apple because they make the apple ids, if you needed to. IPhone 4 i OS 5 Update problems in email & ringtones

I downloaded the update iOS 5 to my iPhone 4. It timed out several times but finally was downloaded. So far the only problems I am having are:
1. when reading my email the photos do not download into the incoming mail &
2. my ringtones disappeared that I had purchased and installed. When syncing I see that the ringtones are on the phone because the laptop scrreen shows they are on the phone but when looking for them on the phone itself there is only one appearing the other 5 I purchased are not in the "general/settings/sounds/ringtone" area of the phone. When going to my "contacts" to set a different ringtone the purchased ringtones are not available to choose from.
Do I need to take off the iOS 5 and reinstall???

The ringtone problem was solved by "unchecking" the purchased ringtones and re-syncing the iphone. Then I re-checked all purchased ringtones and re-synced. They appeared on my phone magically!
But I am still having trouble when opening an email and trying to read the blogs I subscribe to because the photos and other data is not appearing on the screen. I have had to open the blog into Safari to read and look at the photos that were on the blog.
And ideas anyone???

Icloud email problem

I am using icloud email on my Mac Mail client. Problem is that i can receive emails but cannot send any mail while i m in Dubai region.. i am using the default settings which icloud configured... and the same settings work while i am in other country.. it gives an error to select an outgoing smtp server.
The issue remains even after i tried different smtp settings as suggested on google

You have been using MobileMe's email settings, which sometimes continue to work for a time after migration but then get turned off. iCloud's mail server settings are different. Strictly speaking Lion 10.7.2 is required for iCloud, and on that Mail is set up automatically.
Snow Leopard cannot access most of iCloud's facilities, however you can set Mail up manually to access your email. The method is described here:

ICloud email account password problems

After initial password and login problems my iCloud email account now works fine in most cases.
When I create an email account on a mobile phone however...
Sadly my company phone is a Windows Mobile Device, and it finds all the right info, I add the username and password correctly, but a 'wrong password' message displays after it tries to synchronise mail. Any ideas anyone?

How to stop ios mail deleting icloud email from mac mail?

This is driving me insane.
I have an icloud email address set up on my iphone and mac mail.
I want to leave emails on my phone 'on the server'. Read them when i'm out, delete them... come home and have them all come through on mail where i'll deal with them.
Right now if I delete them on my phone, they're deleted on mac mail also.
I have all my regular email addresses set up to do this. Except the one icloud address I want to move everything to!!!

It sounds like your iPhone does whatever your iPad does with regard to joining or forgetting a Wi-Fi network. From what you are describing it seems to me that iCloud Keychain is enabled, as this is a function of that feature. The only way to stop what you are seeing from happening is to disable iCloud keychain on one of the devices:

You can do this in your iCloud Settings:
