IOS 8.3 unable to delete music via usage

The past few versions of iOS have all had certain bits in them to help get iTunes match a bit better. This last time I noticed features go missing. We all used to be able to delete music that was downloaded on our phones via general settings and the usage menu. Now apparently if you merely play a song it is cached to your phone and takes up space but is not actually loaded as a download on the phone. This leads us to our problem. I have 5 gigs of music on my phone now but since my phone doesnt actually know it's downloaded on there I can't delete it. Apple please fix this. Make the cached files show in usage again as the downloads did before. If it takes up space you should show it to me in usage... I shouldn't have to fight with my phone to make it work right.

Anybody know how to delete the U2 album from my iPhone? This thing just keeps reappearing.
I'Ve deselected "show all songs" but 2 songs remain.
YOu can delete other albums by sliding it to the left, but not this.

I think it is 7.1.1 - there was another update today which I've uploaded but it didn't make any difference. It's just the music libary on the 5 that's causing me problems.

Adding and deleting music via itunes

i recently bought a 4 gig nano after using sandisk mp3 players for years and im trying to get use to itunes. how do i delete and add music via itunes?

To add music already on your PC (Like MP3s) you goto the file menu at top and select "Add File to library". If you have a folder full of music, like "My Music" folder you can hit "Add FOLDER to library".
To add music from CDs, you put the CD in and at the top right corner you hit "Import" which is the same as ripping in other programs. You goto edit>preferences>Advanced tab>Importing sub tab to set what type of format you want to import in like MP3 WAV or ACC.
To delete music you rightclick the name of the song in the main library and selct "Clear". This clears the song from iTunes and then you will get a pop up asking if you want to move the song to the recycle bin or not
Also just to mention to you, iTUnes is not like other players you may be use to like Windows medisa player in that it does not "Watch" files or folders. In alot of programs like WMA, they "Watch" folders and files so when you change there location, the player knows this and ajust for it. iTunes does not so when you move music out of..say....the My Music folder and put it in My docs folder or whatever, iTunes will loose its location and show a ! mark beside the song in the iTunes library denoting it can not locate the file/song

A check to Edit-->Preference--> Store-->Automatic Downloads: Noted that the option for "Music" is missing. The available options are Apps and Books.

Yes itunes is up to date. In fact the first time ios7 i updated itunes and then waited several weeks to try again and updated itunes one more time and still to no avail. Yes, i am using the USB.

I already tried to delete an email account on my e63 via communication>messages>settings>email but when I click on 'e-mail' I come back on the menu of communication without any sign of my 2 accounts...
How is this possible?!
Is there not another way to delete my emailaccount?
(Or do I have to reinstall the nokia email?! )

You have to delete the mailboxes. Go to messaging-> options-> e-mail-> highlight the mailbox-> delete.

Unable to delete class via se24

Hi,
i want to delete a class via SE24 but i get the ERROR:
You cannot perform this action in modification/enhancement mode
when i want to change the class i cat set:
Switch off Assistant
but in edit mode there is no possibility to delete the class.
Is there any general possibility to switch off the Assistant? or is there another possibility to delete
the class?
It's not a SAP-class, it's a class which we have ordered, but we want to delete it!!

After updating to 8.1 unable to play audio via bluetooth devices!

While ysing windows 8, i had no such problem. but after i updated it, i am unable to play music via bluetooth devices. sometimes it gives error message "DRIVER ERROR", while other time it gives no error message while it doesn't work. What should i do to check it??

I need to delete a couple of albums from the iPod on my iPad2. How do I do this?

You can unsync the albums within iTunes.
Connect your iPad to your computer, (with the cable or wirelessly) select the iPad on the left side, click on the Music Tab on the right, uncheck the albums in the music section and then click Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
Apparently you can now delete music directly from the device in iOS 5 as well.

Items with the Cloud icon are not on your phone. They are items that have been purchased previously but have since been deleted. You can download them again by tapping the Cloud icon.

You can either sync the iPhone and iPad to a computer that has your music on it and make sure the U2 album is not on the computer. Or you can delete all of the music from both devices (settings > general > usage > manage storage > music. Then redownload your music from your purchase history on the iTunes store

Do a reset of everything on your ipod. Then reconnect it and it should work.

Assuming you are not manually managing your music, verify the following:
You are using the latest version of iTunes
On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings you have checked "Sync only checked songs and videos"
In your music library you have checked all the songs you want to sync to your phone
There are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your phone
You have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your phone (in Store>Authorize this computer)
You have checked "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
When everything looks correct, sync your phone.

You can do both. One-way is to set up syncing on your computer to either sync the genres or just the specific music within a playlist. Also if you are happy with the music on your iPhone, besides that one genre, you can navigate to that genre and then do a swipe from right to left to bring up a delete option for that song.
