Ios 8 Bluetooth Sync with My Ford Touch issues. Phone calls????
I own a Ford dealership and I just got the new iphone 6 yesterday and I try to hook it up with any of my Ford or Lincoln cars with My Ford touch with version 3.6 and all I can do it bluetooth audio. When I make a call It will not go through the car. Sometimes even freezes the screen on dash. I click on my phone where you can choose between SYNC, IPHONE, or SPEAKER and they seem dim gray color. Unlike the button below that says cancel that is bright white. Weird. Have anyone found anything out?
This won't help you fix the problem but may help narrow it down. I have a 2013 Ford Fusion that has been updated to version 3.6 and my iPhone works with it. I don't have an iPhone 6 to test it but it does work with an iPhone 5s which is running iOS 8.

DROID Charge Bluetooth Sync With Acura TSX (Handsfreelink) issues
I have an Acura TSX 2011 w/Tech Package. I have a lot of trouble with pairing this Samsung Charge with the TSX. I had samsung Omnia Previously and there were no issues with pairing that phone with this car. However, Samsung or Verizon must fix this issue completely for Samsung Droid Charge, or I have to pursue legal channels to obtain compensation. There is no way I am letting verizon or Samsung off the hook.
If I can't use Bluetooth (one of the most basic functions now on any Smartphone) I have to either hold my phone in my hand while driving or use speakerphone (also have to hold that while driving). In Connecticut, it is illegal to drive while on the phone at the same time. If Verizon cannot get this issue fixed, then I have to report this to the Attorney General and seek legal remediation because verizon is legally obligated to provide phone that supports handsfree in Connecticut and that includes Bluetooth.
Hopefully someone at verizon is reading this.

I would like to reflect back to when I was all over this forum complaining about my Bluetooth issues. I have a Pioneer navigation system in my car that has bluetooth calling and audio capabilities. When I was swapped out from the Thunderbolt to the Charge I was very disappointed to find that my new Charge would not work on my Pioneer and my Thunderbolt was perfect. I excepted it because I hated the Thunderbolt so much at the time because I just wanted a phone with a good data connection and no rebooting. So after sadly entering my car for weeks on end without being able to use my bluetooth audio I just decided to try it again. This time magically it work and has ever since. The VZW peeps were glad to hear this because it would be one last thing I was jumping down their backs about but I was sadly disappointed that they didn't take an interest as to why weeks later I have a connection. This seems to be the case also with these TSXs because I drove a few and again was angry that they didn't work but today as I go out and try to give you a gleam of hope I find that ( aside from some slightly poor audio quality ) the dang thing is working. So I guess it's up to the Samsung Bluetooth gods to decide if they are going to grant you your Bluetooth wishes. Wish I was more help but it looks like you're either going to have to deal with it, get a different device, or pray for a cure.
ChristinaB_VZW From what I gather from all this is maybe when you send this info to product investigations tell them to try a new device and not one that has been used. Just a thought but even a used one should have the popping crackeling noise coming through. So I guess there are two issues. Thanks G -

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

Can i listen to music threw a bluetooth device with an ipod touch?
I want to listen to music threw a bluetooth device with my ipod touch 4g. I paired 2 different bluetooth devices with my touch. The recognized the devices in the bluetooth setting. Then i went to music tapped the bluetooth icon and only, ipod touch and apple tv were recognized. It didn't list either bluetooth device. So,i couldn't get it to work.

My Reminders app will not open. When I try to open it, it quits and gives me an error message: "Reminders quit unexpectedly while using the CalDAV plug-in." My Reminders is synced with my iPod touch, and it is fine on that. How do I fix it?
Also, the Calendar is loading very very slowly, and sometimes it quits and gives me the same error message as above.The problem has been fixed with the most recent OS X software update.

I have Itunes set up to sync with my Ipod touch and Ipad. As of today, iTunes has started searching to sync with an iPhone, which I don't have and pops open with an error message stating it cannot locate the iPhone to sync. I have looked in devices and only the iPad and iPod Touch are listed. Any ideas on how to stop iTunes from searching for any iPhone it is never going to find? It is annoying to have it popping up all the time with the error message. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
I have some music content in my itunes library that I do not want to sync with my ipod touch. The content has previously been synced and I want to remove it without deleting it from my itunes library. Is this possible?
Hi Pez,
iTunes in the Cloud is not iCloud. Any songs that you have purchased but have not downloaded (or have deleted), go to iTunes in the cloud. The setting I mentioned will show all of your purchases in the various views in the Music app, whether they are on your device or not. If you turn that setting off, you will only see items that are actually on your device.
Glad to hear the second sync worked! But if they all start appearing again, make sure that setting is turned off

I have 3 iOS devices synced with iTunes apps library (OS X 10.10.2)
Can someone tell me how to make not only added but deleted apps be synced also? I mean I want an app deleted in iTunes library be deleted from any iOS devices synced with this library.But it was working some time before! What and when has changed?
There was even a warning popup window something about "this application will be deleted from all the devices synced with this library"
Now there's opposite message - "This application will not be deleted from any device syncing with this account". Isn't it some kind of clue that there can be conrarily circumstances - when application IS deleted from ANY device synced with this computer? -
My iPhone 4s will not work properly with My Ford Touch. I do not hear inbound calls on the car audio speakers. I also cannot answer calls with My ford Touch, I must answer with the iPhone and put the phone on speaker. I am also unable to make calls. I have tried removing and repairing the phone several times. I have also tried reverse pairing. The vehicle is a 2013 Ford Taurus with My Ford Touch. Ford Tech service says the problem is with the phone. Can anyone here help? Apple? I am near a point of switching to something else. Android devices work just fine with the vehicle. Thanks!
you should most likely tell how it connects to the iphone
some have pin30 plugs some have 3.5mm Minijacks
if the later then you should test with a normal headset to see if the connector in the iphone was the culpit
if not then you should test the transmitter with anohter device with a 3.5mm minijack like a computer to see if the connector or cable or transmitter was the problem -

Found that in "info" on the ipod sync page, "Sync Contacts....", "Sync Calendars..." and "Sync mail accounts...." had become unticked -

I was pretty well assured that under my same iTunes account I would sync my Apps, music library, etc with out problem. I'm not sure if there's a setting I'm missing somewhere? The other thing is the iPod Touch is gone, so I have my library. Any advise? Thank you in advance!
What do you mean your "iPhone 3G will not sync with my iPod Touch 3G"? You don't sync an iPhone with an iPod - you sync directly to iTunes.
Just plug the iPhone into the computer with your iTunes Library on it and sync it as normal. Everything that is in that iTunes Library under that iTunes Account will be synced to the iPhone, in exactly the same way as you synced your iPod touch. -
