IOS 8 cannot skip iCloud setup step to complete setup

When I choose Skip This Step it keeps looping back to Hello screen.

Just came out a 45 minute chat and a one hour call with Apple. It looks like my iTunes backup of my iPad mini got somehow corrupted. Happily I also own an iPad Air and I am restoring it from that device. If your backup also got corrupted during the installation of iOS8 I am afraid you can only set it up as a new device and start all over again. You can download your apps from the App Store, your music from the iTunes Store and try to get your pictures back from iPhoto or so. I don't see a way to use the old backup if it is corrupted as well.
If you can't restore try to hold both buttons for 30 seconds or so until you see the "connect to iTunes" logo on your screen. If iTunes is complaining about turning off "Find My iPhone" you can delete the device via iCloud.com.

Are you sure you set up an iCloud account on your PC? You can only do that on a Mac or an iOS device such as your iPad.
If you do already have an iCloud account, go to Settings>iCloud on your iPad and enter the ID you used to set up the iCloud account. If you don't have one, enter your Apple ID to create one. Then turn on your data syncing in Settings>iCloud and when prompted be sure to tap Merge to upload the data from your iPad to your iCloud account. Also, you can't go to icloud.com on your iPad. You have to do that from your computer. There you can sign into your iCloud account and see your data.

If I go to icloud.com on Safari on the ipad, it takes me to a instruction page which only says to complete icloud in Settings.

That's happening because icloud.com is not designed to be viewed from the mobile version of Safari on your iPad, only from your computer browser.* You can still access it on your iPad if you're running iOS 8 by going to icloud.com, then tapping on the address bar where the url is displayed, tap the center of the screen and drag down, then tap "Request Desktop Site" under the address bar at the top. This will load the full desktop version of icloud.com. You'll find, however, that not all of the the features will respond to the touch screen.

I followed all of the steps to iCloud setup on PC and Photo Stream does not work

I have a Windows 7 PC, and an iphone 4. I upgraded to IOS 5 and did the iCloud setup with the download Control Panel app and set it up. However, when i take a photo with my iphone, the photo goes to my camera roll and does not go to my photo stream and there fore not to my PC photo stream folder on my PC.
So far Photo Stream does nothing. Also, Are we supposed to be able to see our photo stream if we login to iCloud? When logged in to iCloud, I see my contacts and mail and other stuff bu no Photo Stream.
Am I missing something?

I figured out the answer to my question. Photo Stream will not sync unless your iphone is connected via Wi-Fi. Now I have to go find a Wi-Fi network to see if I am correct. I read the maunal, wow, what a concept.
I hope this helps others who don't read the manual but complain on the forums!

With my current apple activie and able to log in to itunes and other apple website, I cannot access icloud with error message "check your email xxx for instructions on how to verify your account. But checking email, no email was sent.

1. Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
2. Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
3. Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
4. Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.

Since the IOS7 update I cannot use iCloud as the account has gone back to my old email address. Can anyone tell me how I can change the account details; I don't want to change my Apple ID - I know how to do that and also change the password - I want to know how to change the iCloud account from my old email address to my present one. icloud just keeps bringing up my old email address & asking for my old password which doesn't exist anymore and when I try to sign out of icloud it wants my old password, when I tried to change my primary email back to the old one it wants me to verify it through an email address that doesn't exist. Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you updated your Apple Id and password but now you are being prompted for the old information in iCloud. You are on the right track by changing the Apple ID back to the previous email address temporarily so that you can sign out. You should not need to verify the email address. After you edit the Apple ID back to the old email address and then sign out of iCloud on your iPhone, edit the Apple ID back to the address you would currently like to use. There is no need to change the password again, only the email address, unless you prefer to update the password again.

Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't help, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Sign Out, then tap Sign Out to confirm. If you're using iOS 7 or earlier, tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap Keep on My [Device] or Delete from My [Device]. In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

Pictures sent from Samsung WP7 to iOS Devices Cannot Be Viewed Once Saved the the iOS Photo Library. I don't have issues with saving pictures from any other user types. Please help!
Steps to reproduce issue:
1) Share pictures from WP7 either via email or Messaging with iPhone 4
2) View photo on iOS device in email app or messaging (text message)
3) Save Photo to Photo Library in iOS
4) Go to Photos app in iOS
5) This results in a dialog saying "Rebuilding Photo Library"
6) Once this is done, the photo sent from WP7 appears a grey block icon that says ".JPG: on it

iPhoto > iPhoto Preferences > PhotoStream, turn off automatic uploads.

Cannot open Icloud calendar in outlook 2010 since upgrade to win 8.1

Since upgrading to Windows 8.1 cannot open iCloud calendars or contacts. I get "This set of folders cannot be opened. Theinformation store could not be opened."

I uninstalled iCloud control panel, removed any iCloud folders from Outlook, rebooted the computer nad then downloaded and installed the latest iCloud for windows.After going through the reinstall steps and setting up iCloud, Outlook seems to sync with iCloud.

You cannot access iCloud on a Mac running Mac OSX 10.4. Are you sure, the system version is correct?
If you are running iWork '09 (iWork 09 9.0.1) on your Mac with Numbers 2.3, you must at least have MacOS X 10.5.6 installed.
if you want iCloud support for iOS apps, you need the iWork 9.3 update,see: About the iWork 9.3 Update
And this update requires OS X Lion v10.7.4

It should be there. Are you sure the iPad is running iOS 5? You can check in Settings>Genreal>About. The iOS version is shown under Version.
