IOS 8 maps not updated?

Is it my imagination or are the maps in iOS 8.0.2 (12A405) about 2+ years old???? There is a road from the entrance to where I live that extends about .5 mile to a highway access road. The road has no name yet. This little road was cut thru this vacant lot 2+ years ago. This road shows up in google/yahoo maps but NOT in apple maps. I know that apple uses its own maps program. Also there are buildings that were built in the 2+ years ago across our street that are not in apple maps. Not a very good service from apple maps department. I am using 10.9.5 mavericks which is not in the list below on this page. Product still shows 10.7.

MAP not updated statistically for materials maintained in standard price

Hi all,
For materials maintained in standard price, system updates MAP for statistical purposes - but I found that system is not updating MAP for goods movement with movement type 653. I posted a goods movement with movement type 101 and system updated MAP.
So could any one help by explaining me why system updates MAP for 101+ and why not for 653+

IOs apps not updating after changing country

Hi all,
This has been an issue for a while that I have ignored but can no longer. I originally began using an iPhone and iPod touch several years ago in the US. 3 years ago I moved to Canada, and since then have noticed that apps purchased while I had a USA iTunes account will not longer update unless they are on my device (ie, no updates offered thorugh iTunes). Once moving to Canada and switching financial info from USA to Canada, and subsequently changing the country of my iTunes store (as I was forced to for via the required credit card for an iTunes account) the original USA apps will not update. I realize this is going to be an even bigger problems on moving back to the USA here in a few months as all my Canadian apps will no longer update. What is the solution. All apps have been purchased under the same iTunes account, the only thing that has changed is the country of the iTunes store (all apps are available in both countries also so that is not the cause).

Not my issue. Many apps do update fine. 5 pesky ones are being difficult and refuse to update. Tried on various wifi networks with same result. Other applications do update. All the latest as far as iOS is concerned although sadly I am still using an iPad 2.
What is the same is only that a number of my applications in the App Store fail to update on my iPad 2.

Why is Maps not updated in real time ?

I leave in Bordeaux, France. Despite my many feedback through the Maps app either on iOS or Mac no significant changes or improvment were made by Apple. The map of Bordeaux is wrong in many points. I always have to use Goggle maps or Waze for driving. Even a big bridge accross the river is missing. Some places names ames are wrong. Many POI are missing. As maps uses mostly the Yelp date base which is not very popular here in France, many palces are missing. Could Apple take this points seriously into account ? thx for reading

MapBuilder maps not updated in endeca studio

Hi,
I have created a map using mapBuilder and use it in oracle endeca information discovery , after making req conf in mapviewer and oeid framework settings.
But when i update same map in mapBuilder changes not visible in endeca. Why ?
As a temporary solution i am making new base map layer in mapviewer and using it in OEID. Its tedious job.
Why mapBuilder changes not visible in OEID ?

After much trial and error, here are the steps I now follow to ensure that changes made to underlying MapBuilder objects are visible in the browser (or other application).
Perform the following steps:
1) Modify the object (style, theme, base map, tile layer) in MapBuilder, and save all changes.
2) Using MapViewer Administration Console, Purge Cached Metadata for each affected datasource.
3) On the MapViewer server, clear the Map Cache directory. The location of the Map Cache directory
is specified in the mapViewerConfig.xml file under the section "Map Cache Server Setting".
e.g.
cd <map cache dir>
rm -rf *
4) Restart the Mapviewer server.
Your changes should now be visible.

Map Not Update...Unable to See Traffic....No Route Map for any destination

Yesterday updated IO6 and found map they are using is too old, compare to earlier version, cannot see Traffic, No Route Map there, Cannot Hear Voice..

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions"
*Check the "Tools > Page Info > Media" tab for blocked images (scroll through all the images with the cursor Down key).
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.
Make sure that you do not block third-party images permissions.default.images
There are also extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) and security software (firewall, anti-virus) that can block images.

Trying to update my iphone 4 to ios 5. itunes is up to date as is my operating system. itunes prompts me to update phone but does not give me an option to just download only for the update. i've tried numerous times to update to ios 5 w/ no success. Error code 3124 i believe. thanks for the help!

If not, turn off your antivirus and firewall. And let us know the exact error message and when it occurs in the update cycle.
If it isn't giving you the option to download only that probably means its already downloaded.

Here is the description of that error:
Error 1004, 1013, 1638, 3014, 3194: These errors may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked. Follow these steps to resolve these errors:
Install the latest version of iTunes.
Check security software. Ensure that communication to gs.apple.com is allowed. Follow this article for assistance with security software. iTunes for Windows: Troubleshooting security software issues.
Check the hosts file. The restore will fail if there is an active entry to redirect gs.apple.com. Follow iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting to edit the hosts file or revert to a default hosts file. See section "Blocked by configuration: (Mac OS X/Windows) > Rebuild network information".
Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.

Map not updated but Nokia maps say me it is update...

Compared with map of maps.nokia.com I have map of Argentina out of date, but when I from Nokia Maps 3.06 (at a N97 mini) select update, it say all my maps are up-to-date

i Have a peculiar problem in my company , only for materials which are one in quantity , if after 601 we are doing sales return 653 then materials which were in one quantity there MAP becomes zero and in 653 movement in mb5b there map is displayed as zero so in material master. no one has changed MAP in material master, why is system making zero MAP for materials which are 1 in stock.

First check the price of material before Sales return, and the quanity before sales return, then check the PGI amount of first delivery for which you are creating the sales return, if the qty. before sales return is zer0 at that time MAP may be there, but if the PGI amount of first delivery si zero then after taking material bac in stock ref. to that delivery the new MAP will become ZERO.

I have been trying to update a set of aps for a few days - never works. I've tried sitting with the machine and monitoring the progress. I've turned off my McAfee firewall.

Problem with ios certificate server not updating the CRL

Hi all,
The background is that i'm currently setting up a DMVPN solution with the ipsec tunnels between the spokes created using certificates.
I'm using a cisco 877 as the CA server (its running 12.4(6)T5) to provide the certificates to the spoke routers. This part is working fine - the spokes can request a certificate and get one issue all well and good.
The problem is on the CA, the CRL lifetime is set to 24 hours but the CA is not updating the CRL so when the spokes look for the revocation list (as set in their trustpoint) they are reporting an error that the CRL is out of date and won't connect.
If is do a '#sh crypto pki server' it lists a 'CRL NextUpdate timer. this has a timestamp that is 24 hours after the last certificate was revocked. The only way i can get the CRL to be re-generated is to revoke a certificate.
So, my question is, have i missed something here? I thought the CA would automatically generat a new CRL file every 24hours.

However it does not mention if 12.4(6)T5 is affected, only that it was found in 12.4(15)T3 and resolved in 12.4(15)T10 and other more recent releases.
I would suggest trying the latest 12.4(15)Tx, 15.0(1)Mx or 15.1(4)Mx release if you can.
I supposed you've though of it, but just in case: as a workaround you can disable the CRL check on all the DMVPN routers, obviously they will still allow connections from routers with a revoked spoke.
As a (temporary?) replacement for a CRL, you could use a "certificate ACL" with which you can kind of create a "manual local CRL" :
crypto pki certificate map certACL 10
   serial-number ne
   serial-number ne
   etc.
crypto pki trustpoint myTP
   match certificate certACL
(note the "ne" stands for "not equal" so you are permitting any certificate whose serial number is not listed)
Obviously you would have to configure (and maintain!) this on each router participating in the DMVPN so this is cumbersome, but I suppose if you don't often revoke certs it might be an option.
