IOS 8 message display change

I noticed that in ios8 that threads stay in chronological order even if the most recent message in that thread is deleted. In previous versions if I deleted a recent message and not the entire thread, that persons thread would drop in the order to the last undeleted text. But in ios8 if I delete a recent message the persons thread stays at the top of the screen even though their most recent undeleted message might be months old. It's not a huge deal but it's confusing as I like to see undeleted texts in the chronological order that they were received. Anyone know how to set it to the previous sort order? I'm currently using an iPhone 6 running ios 8.1.1 but it started displaying this new order with ios 8. Thanks in advance and I hope that this makes sense.

No, there is no way to change back to the way things were under the previous version.

There is no such thing as a "Factory Unlocked iPhone "
They are either locked to a carrier who may at some stage offer unlocking
or sold direct to a user by Apple (from their own Stores or online .)
Those iPhones are NOT locked

How to block displaying message "Save changes to file 'Test1' " in BEx?

Hello, dear colleagues!
Do You know how to block displaying message "Save changes to file 'Test1' " in BEx?
I need some BEx setting which can block it and make it the same way as You close common Excel workbook without any changes made to it after opening e.g. without any messages, just clicking the cross.

from time to time i am working with macroses, but they are not good for the report's reliability.
maybe You have some example of such macros?
UPDATE:
I have tried to edit event, called WorkbookBeforeClose in module BExEventHandler, adding there such a line:
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
but no result. maybe there are some other ways of solving this problem?

SSorry there is no feature for that, so you can't change it.

have you restarted the iPhone? if not, press and hold both the sleep and home button until screen goes black and apple logo come up, then release them. Let me know if that helped.

Try another WiFi Network. Go to a friend's house, a library, anywhere else that you can use a trusted WiFi network.

IOS 7/8 Mail, incorrect message displayed as duplicate of other message

Hello,
A quick search for terms of "duplicate message" yielded a score of threads about multiple copies of messages being delivered. This is different.
In iOS 7/8, I have found that the Mail application will occasionally erroneously display two copies of the same message. The second copy of the message is actually an incorrect display of that message over top of another real message. Tapping the duplicate will not display the missing message. Browsing back to the Root mailboxes view and then straight back into the inbox (for example) always corrects the display of the two messages. I have never seen more than one message displayed incorrectly. This is reproduced most reliably when a message is moved from the inbox to my archive folder. The mail application then displays a new message. I browse back to the inbox and frequently there is a duplicate message in there.
I have three mail accounts active. One Gmail and two exchange accounts. I have noted the behaviour in both exchange accounts. I don't typically have enough messages in the Gmail account to be able to reproduce this behaviour so I'm not sure if it occurs there.
Does anyone else have experience with this or know of a solution? It isn't apparent to me how to report a bug to Apple about this, so I thought I would start with the community here.

Ah yes school boy error there out of frustration and discontent..
My issue is with music/apps/films etc not downloading from iTunes / App Store.
They initially fail and message is displayed stating unable to download / purchase at this time, yet if I retry it says I've already purchased (?) or alternatively I go to the purchased section and there they are waiting with the cloud symbol..
However some items get frozen in the download window and cannot be retried or deleted. Message appears stating to tap to retry, but even if you stole every bath and sink in the uk you'd still not have enough taps.
I post here as the iTunes guys are useless in there 'help' and have only advised posting here or phoning apple, at my expense, to explain a problem that could be rectified by forwarding my original email to a techie. However the tech team apparently don't have an email address as they're from ye olde Middle Ages..!
Anyways I digress.
So I tried sync to pc, but instead of showing the file as ready to listen/use/view, the iCloud symbol shows and I'm back to square one as the item is unable to download..
At frustration station waiting for a train from pain...
All my software is up to date, and had all worked fine prior to the last big iOS update that resulted in all the changes in display and dismay.

Thunderbolt display changes colour temperature when in full screen mode

27" Thunderbolt Display connected to MacBook Air (2011) changes colour temperature when in full screen mode. Switching any setting in System Preferences/Displays changes it back to the correct colour. I have also seen this on a 24" LED Display (Display Port) connected to a Mac Book Pro (2011).

Document in BSEG but not in BKPF. Message displays Document not in Database

Good day!
We are using SAP 4.6C.
Our client wants to display a document posted some time ago using FB03.
The message displayed, "Document not in database. Search Document archive?"
I looked for the document in BSEG and found that the document exists there.
However, the document header data are missing in BKPF.
Is there a transaction code that could have archived/removed the data in BKPF while
not changing anything in BSEG?
Could there be a way to retrieve these data?

For your information, the pop up message prompting for archived mesages "Document is not in database. Search document archive? " is not present anymore in the release ECC 6.0. This pop existed in your release and this has been phased out as part of continuous product improvement after inputs from various customers.
In the newer releases instead of this pop up we have the message
"Document XXXX XXXXXXXXX XXXX is already archived" being displayed at the lower bottom of the screen. This helps you identify that the document was archived. This is the standard SAP behaviour.
Therefore, your document is archived. To able to retrieve this document again you can use Tcode FBL3N and change the Data source option (there is a button for that) to Archived Data.
The same you achieve in FB03 when you select Document List button and then Data Sources Button, mark the option Archive.

Display/Change/Delete of planning object not working in BPS

Hi Guys
While displaying or changing object in planning workbench, system is taking too long to process the request and request doesn't completes even in hours. The following operations are not working
1. Delete Planning Area/Level.
2. Display/Change planning Level.
3. Display/Change Planning Layout.
4. When clicking on Variable Tab of infoarea.
5. When clicking on Set variable button.
In all of the above mentioned cases System displays a message "Generating Environment" and it runs for indefinite time.All this is ha0

I have created a clone for transaction MEMASSPO. My problem is how will I modify the program of the clone (ZMEMASSPO) so that when I save the PO, it will not generate an output in transaction ME23N in 'Messages' (Display Pur. Order:: Output).

To ensure that there is no output generated you can implement the BADI (Business Add-in) ME_BAPI_PO_CUST. Here you need to change the parameter CH_NO_MESSAGING (BAPI parameter "NO_MESSAGING") to 'X'. However, this should be (even though it is only a temporary modification) done in way that only the logic which enters the BAPI from MEMASSPO is touched.
This can be achieved by doing something like the following coding as the implementation in the BAPI- BADI:
FIELD-SYMBOLS <l_subrc> LIKE sy-subrc.
DATA: lf_name(128).
CONCATENATE '(' 'SAPLEIMASS' ')sy-subrc' INTO lf_name.
ASSIGN (lf_name) TO <l_subrc>.
IF <l_subrc> IS ASSIGNED.
ch_no_messaging = 'X'.
ENDIF.
This checks if the current program went through the SAPLEIMASS include before. This means that the BAPI was called by the MASS transaction. Therefore ch_no_messaging is set to 'X' and message output should be prevented.

Constraints / limitations of af:message for inline message display ?

Using JDev 11.1.1.3; reading the help content, it seems very simple to drop an af:message component onto the page, and associate with a component for validation message display. Trying it inside a popup belonging to a jspx page works fine, but when I try and use it inside a popup contained within a bounded task flow / fragment, the validation framework appears to be ignoring the message component, and using the balloon hint message display instead. Thinking maybe the For/edit property selection isn't properly handling the nesting of components, I've located the message components closer/next to the source component, but no change ...

Doesn't seem to matter where I put them inside the popup, they don't display. I've used/removed the immediate/auto-submit properties on the inputDate, but no change.
Are there constraints in when/how these can be used, or if not, what is it that I'm missing ?

to achieve a Validation of an item when leaving the field you'll have to use some javascript code (as ApexLib does internally).
What do you need:
- onChange - Event on your Item
- some Javascript code which is called in the onChange Event (you can put this code either in your page html header or, if it is used more often in your application, in a seperate js File)
- call the ApexLib method apexlib.error.showError to display your error
I actually never tried it myself, but i'm pretty sure that this will work (according to what i've seen in the ApexLib code).
