Great. Have you found anything in there about the iCloud drive? That seems to be a big question lately.
I've read that one should NOT update to iCloud drive yet. It's integrated into Yosemite and since Yosemite is still in beta, that one should hold off.

Quote from the above article (credit to Jason Cipriani)
"Content stored in iCloud Drive is only accessible from devices running iOS 8 and/or OS X Yosemite. Meaning, if you upgrade your device to iOS 8 and enable iCloud Drive, any files you store in iCloud from your iOS device will not be available on your Mac and vice versa, until Yosemite is available."

Hello to all my readers.I am still using my Apple G4 1.25 Ghz MDD running Leopard 10.5.8 with iTunes 10.6.3 installed. Can I use an Phone 4s with iOS 5 with this set up? I have read the iPhone iOS 5 user guide and it appears that I can but is anybody actually doing it ? My current phone is a £10 Nokia and I've neither wish nor cash to spend more than a grand upgrading to an intel based machine (at the moment) ! Regards to you all.

If you can find an iPhone running iOS5 and those are the specs for iOS5, there is no reason it should not work.
If you want a more current version of iOS or a more current device, a Windows computer is always an option at significantly less cost.
Granted, there is no requirement to have a computer to use an iPhone.

  • FYI: Numbers for iOS downloadable user guide (Help)

If you click the link below, the web page that displays has a small printer icon in the upper right corner.
If you click that icon, it displays an option for Book Numbers Help.
If you click Numbers Help, a print sheet displays and you can either print to paper or save to PDF.

    Hope this helps!

After clicking Book, however, I only see an option to print, not an option to Save to PDF.  (Well the browser and OS might make a difference. I looked at it on Firefox, Windows.)
Probably the OS.  On a Mac, the print dialogue always includes a PDF button.  If you want the pdf, I could try to send it you (2.3mb) if you email me (tom at bluesky dot org).

  • Error in iPad User Guide?

According to page 38 of the iPad iOS 4 User Guide, you can put up to 12 icons in a
folder. However, I have way more than 12 in several of my folders. So is this a typo or do I have an extra special version of iOS 4.2.1?

  • Is there a ipod touch user guide for ios 6

I am doing ths for my wife and me if and when I replace my ipod touch, we would like to know if there is a new user guide out yet?

Not yet. There probably will be by the time the 5th-generation iPod touch ships. If you're upgrading your current iPod, the iPhone manual might be of help since many of the features and settings will be the same, though not all:
iPhone User Guide (For iOS 6 Software)

  • Original iPad User Guide for iOS 4.3?

I've updated my iPad (and iPhone 3GS) to iOS 4.3. I then went to http://support.apple.com/manuals to download the latest User Guides for iOS 4.3. I found one for the iTouch, 1 for the iPhone, and 1 for the iPad 2. However, an iOS 4.3 User Guide for the Original iPad is not to be found. Has anyone else found it? If so, please post a link. Thanks.

Maybe I did misunderstand you but perhaps there will be no additional manual for the original iPad running 4.3. You just take the 4.3 updated manual and apply the instructions to the original iPad. There will be some things that don't apply to the original because the iPad2 is a new design, but Apple didn't radically change the way things work from 1 - 2. You just ignore the things that don't apply to iPad 1.
At this point I'm pretty sure you should know which instructions are specific for iPad2 if you use the 4.3 guide. The same software features apply to both models. You boot them the same way, you troubleshoot the same way and so on. It shouldn't be that big of a deal.
I buy devices all the time that come with generic instructions, written in four different languages, that apply to three or four different models. When I read those instructions I have to pay attention to the instructions that apply to my particular model - and ignore the rest. Those instruction manuals can be a nightmare to sift through. Apple makes their's pretty easy to read and navigate through.
BTW ... even though you refuse to believe it, the 3.2 and 4.2 guides ARE for your original iPad. There was no iPad 2 when this were published. This is your quote.
I'm looking for the version for my ORIGINAL iPad, a.k.a. iPad 1. The title at support.apple.com/manuals is: iPad 2 User Guide (For iOS 4.3 Software
