IOS 8 vs Facebookand Safari

Question

Since downloading IOS 8, it takes me twice to open Facebook app, the first time the app closing after 2-3 second.
Also, on Safari, it´s impossible for me to write the adress I want to access, the app closing after the first letter.
IS someone having a solution ?

I'd try a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver apple, let go and let it reboot and try again.
You can also try to force quit the app. Sometimes this clears errors. Double tap the home button. Flick the preview for the apps in question up and off the screen to close them. Then single tap the home button to exit the mode.
for facebook, it's possible that the app is not compatible with iOS8. That app has a long standing run of incompatibilities and bugginess. (why I stopped using it). I access my facebook via safari.
The reset or force close may help with safari. I do know the disappearing menu bar takes a bit of getting used to, but when you're scrolled down on the page, I do know you just need to tap the top of the page to get the URL bar back.
