IOS contact lists revert to all when one contact is deleted

Running iOS 7.0.3 on mini. I have multiply contact lists as a result of syncing with our Exchange 2010 sp3 server. Was attempting to delete old contacts and each time I do all of my contact lists, including "suggested contacts" enable themselves. To be clear if I click on "groups" and then enable only one list to display, if I delete one contact from that list, iOS then enables all the lists and fills the contacts view with lots of extra addresses. I had this issue on 7.02 and 7.03. What is more odd is this does not happen on my 5S running 7.02. Both devices use same iCloud and Exchange accounts.

Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that wasn't the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again. Quit iTunes and restart your computer as well. Turn off your firewall and antivirus software when you attempt the update again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Do you mean forward one number only? If that's what you want then no, you cannot. You can use call forwarding to forward all calls, but not selected contacts only. I'd add that would be a function of the carrier to, as when you activate call forwarding it sets the switch on your account with the carrier, and their hardware handles the call forwarding (i.e. the phone itself has nothing to do with actually forwarding calls or not - it is the carriers equipment that manages that - all the phone can do is tell the carriers system to forward calls, or not).

Just to recap, this is a collection of ports I have collected over time for people who needed this information when setting up the HP ePrint app so that they could view their email from within the app. I am certain other applications also need this information. Although lengthy, I could not find a more comprehensive place to retrieve this information. Feel free to post additional information, faulty information, or other related topics below as this is simply a collection of data and it would be practically impossible to test all of them. I have the exact same problem. I did the update on my iPhone 5 yesterday, opted for the iCloud set up in the update and then it wiped my contacts. They are not on my phone or in the cloud...

The SIM has not affect on the contacts in an iPhone. Unlike other devices, the contacts are not maintained on the SIM card.

Are you using iCloud as well as manually synchronizing via iTunes?
And, do you have backup?

We are all users here. You are not talking to apple on these forums. There is no way anyone here can know the decision making process apple uses to determine what changes to make to the operating system. Also none of use care about which phone you might buy next.

My Bosses iPhone is merging different contacts with the same firstname into one contact. How can i resolve this? He seems very disturbed and thinks i don't know what i'm doing. I've set up all his devices to sync across and now its messed up on his iPad, and two iPhones.
E.G Contacts with firstname 'Adams' and different numbers are synced into one account.
Now i have no clue how many contacts are this way cos he has a huge number of contacts (he's the ceo).
Please i need a suggestion on how to fix this.

I'm not a Verizon user (I'm with Rogers, in Canada), so this obviously is not a Verizon issue. Would love to know why one second all my texts and calls had names associated with them, and then suddenly all the names were replaced by phone numbers.

How do I delete a card out of my contact list that was dropped in by Facebook (I assume). It won't let me delete it in -edit -delete card. It has Facebook logo on the card. I have the contact in my contact list that entered. This one appeared.

Have you activated iCloud on your Mac? Have you configured iCloud to sync Contacts for to your Mac in System Preferences?
