IOS database for shelter puppy rescue---please help!
I am trying to find an IOS database app--I work for a non profit animal rescue. Want to keep track of foster puppies, fosterers with locations, medical info etc. Need to access contact info and photos. What do you suggest. We utilize Facebook to post puppy info. Thanks.
We want to be able to have a database of potential foster parents that we can email/text in a group when the puppies arrive. We want to track who has what puppy, link that to a photo of the puppy, track health info, and then adopter info. We need to link it all together. Sorry---not that tech savvy. Appreciate any suggestions for an app to use. Luckily, all in the group have iPhones. Thanks!

Same here. I don't know how to solve the problem, but I figured out a way to close the app without re-starting or resetting the phone. If you click ok and then press the home button twice really fast before the dialog box shows back up, you can put the phone in multi-tasking mode and close the app without having the shut the phone off or reset it. Anxiously awaiting the fix for this since I have several apps I use that I can access at the moment.

The friend who sold it to you needed to clear his Apple ID off the phone before he sold it to you. Of course if it wasn't his phone in the first place then he could not do so. He is your friend but you don't know where he is?
There is nothing that will help you short of getting the password for the Apple ID from your friend. If you cannot obtain that there is no workaround. -

My iTunes won't open! It keeps saying 'The iTunes Library.itl is locked on a locked disk or you not have write permission for this file.' Please Help!
this may happen on external drives if:
The external drive was hotpluged (removed) without going the correct "eject" way
The iTunes library (database) got corrupted
First Aid for external drive
Close iTunes
Unmount (eject) external drive the right way.
Mount drive again
Go to Workplace -> right click external drive -> choose "clean up" This will force the filesystem to rescan the file structure of the drive and rebuilding the file system table and journaling file.
After the tool shows "done" (could last some time depending on size of drive) restart iTunes
If your iTunes library is on your internal drive, this may happen
The system was not shoot down correct, e.g. "pulled the plug"
The iTunes library (database) got corrupted
First Aid for internal hard drive
Close iTunes
Reboot system
Go to Workplace -> right click external drive -> choose "clean up"
After the tool shows "done" (could last some time depending on size of drive)
Reboot system, restart iTunes
If none of the above fixes your problem, post here.

When I double-click on this data type from the ABAP editor, it takes me to the definition screen.I wish I could put screenshots in this message but I don't know how. Anyway, the definition says it is a "table" type. There are four tabs underneath - Attributes, Line Types, Initialization, and Access Key. Under "Line Type," the properties are as follows:
Predefined Type
Data Type: STRING
No. of Characters: 0
Decimal Places: 0

iOS 4.2.1 is the latest version of iOS for the 3G.
Facebook and Whatsapp both require 4.3 or higher.
If you want to use those apps, either use the old version that should be in your iTunes library or upgrade the hardware to a 3GS or newer device. -

Thanks for the update. I don't know if you have tried this, but I would next I would try removing and re adding the mail account from the phone, then testing the issue again:
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

If it is a 3GS you cannot update it to 4.3, you can only update it to iOS 6. Install the latest version of iTunes on your computer, connect the phone, click on its name on the left, then click the "Check for Updates" button on the right.
If you can't connect to your home WiFi try rebooting the router. -

Try a soft reset or turn the device completely off then turn it back on again. Also you can toggle Airplane mode on for about 10 seconds and then turn it off. Sometimes that resets the radio signal inside the device.
A soft reset is basically holding onto the power button and the home button simultaneously together for about 10 seconds or until you see the screen flash and it should go completely black. Afterwards, tun the device back on like normally and see if that fixes the problem. -

It looks like your might have signed up for iTunes Match.

When you enable iTunes Match on your iOS device, the music library on your iOS device will be deleted and replaced with your music in iCloud.

What I suggest is that you move your music from your old laptop to your new one by following the steps below:

After that, you can then add iTunes match on your computer, or turn off iTunes Match on your iPhone, and then sync your iPhone as you would normally with your new computer.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
