IOS Deployed app gets into "Installing" state and doesn't answer anymore

Hi, im trying to develop a mobile application, but whenever i go to "Run Configurations" the "Packaging Method" options are disabled. It can only package in standard mode. That shouldn't be a problem (other than the longer time do package) but when i deploy the app to any iOS device and try to run it, the app enters "Installing" mode and doesn't answer anymore. Could it be a problem related to my air version?

I'm staying on 7.0.4 as a choice. (battery life longer than 7.1)
Actually, just the opposite. Does that mean you tried 7.1 and hacked the phone to downgrade, or is there an entirely different reason you can't update to 7.1....
iPhone worked for almost 2 years on 7.0.4
That's curious, since iOS 7.0 was released only 9 months ago and 7.0.4, 7 months ago...

If this phone isn't jailbroken:
1. Reset phone: press both the home and lock buttons, releasing when the Apple logo appears
2. Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
3. Restore the iOS (also updating to 7.1.1) with iTunes, also restoring a backup
4. Restore the iOS as new, without restoring a backup.

Issue with GP getting into Erroneous State

Hi Experts
I have an issue with GP Process getting into Erroneous State. We have a series of steps in the Guided Procedure Process. The process instance passes a few of the initial steps in the procedure and getting struck at a particular step and leading the process to erroneous state.
I am just trying to find out what would be the possible reasons for a process to get into erroneous state.
Kindly get us all possible suggestions to find the root cause for this issue.

Thanks a ton for responding to my query.
It is a User Interface Callable Object. Can you please elaborate on this in detailed manner. I have assigned the right user account to manage the execution role. Below is what I have done.
In the GP Process, there are 4 default roles 1. Owner, 2. Default Processor, 3. Overseer 4. Administrator. All these were mapped with one ID from UME. What is the problem in this? Kindly let me know.

I have all the problems everyone is having on here as well. But you know what? I Boot into XP and wireless works fine. Apparently apple makes better drivers for Windows then there own OS I thought mac was suppose to just "work" Then to find if I login with xp it just, "works" what am i to believe now haha
I really hate using XP but its the only way I can connect to the net consistently ...
My mac is all like "Wait i found a connection..." "ok i found it" "ok let me connect" "ok im connected... but... wait not really" "i know it looks like im connected but I am going to make you sad"

BTW I have tried every single option/config possible. Nothing works. BC you know what? It should just "WORK"
Ill sit humbly on xp till this gets fix but for now just wait it out

If your lock button is broken, the only solution is to get the phone replaced or repaired. There is no way to reset the phone without a functioning lock button.

This is a user to user tech support form, not Apple support. The S/N wouldn't provide any solution regardless.

My wife's phone had similar symptoms, at least with the text notification alert not working. I have narrowed it down to happening after we use the new navigation feature in the Maps. When we power the phone off and back on, the alert sound seems to return. I haven't tried just "killing" the Maps app after we use it...perhaps that would work as well.

Thanks for replying, I'm a real techno-cretin. What do you mean by not using the backup? I'm busy trying to restore my new phone and it's doing a 6 hour download with updates. Can I restore the data from my old phone backup onto the new iPhone 4S when the download is done?

Can you boot into your Recovery partition (hold down the command and R keys whilst booting)?

Sometimes it helps told press the Shift key when one tries to open Pages. It will also stop opening a lot of documents that isn't closed before quitting Pages.
