IOS enterprise license outside developer. Need iOS dev login credentials?

Suppose one party has an enterprise license and wants to use an app developed by another party, an outside developer. Can the developer compile the app using the enterprise distribution certificate and provisioning profile without the other party's enterprise program login credentials? Or will these be required when the certificate is added to the developer's keychain? Or at any point in the process by the developer? Thanks

What do you mean by 'use'?
Apps built using an Enterprise account are for 'use' by the Enterprise. Apps built using an individual dev's account/distribution cert. are for submittal by that dev.
What is it you're trying to do/avoid/accomplish, exactly?

Hi,
I applied for the Developer Enterprise License two weeks ago. I received a call two weeks ago as well verifying certain corporate details. The gentlemen on the phone informed me that all seems well and we will be receiving the link to purchase the license but I have not heard from Apple since.
Just like to check if there is anyone that can help me out with this?

Thanks for your response but Apple is not stating the payment method for Online Apple Store for Malaysia. I called up Apple Store Malaysia to ask about this and they mentioned that only credit card is available.
I wondering how a company have a credit to provide the payment? Is there other alternative?

What do I need to install to begin developing for iOS?

hi all, i'm going to pick up a Mac Mini this thursday with the intention of developing for the iOS platform. i just wanted to know what i'll need to do to begin developing so i can begin as soon as possible. i know i'll need XCode and a developer license from Apple. will i need anything else?

Max the ram in your mini.
Buy what you need to have a reliable backup.
Get the largest monitor you can afford.
Get an iPhone and iPad for testing.
Update Lion to 10.7.3 and use Xcode 4.3.1
Get a good image edtior, text editor and if you intend to do video and audio, apps to edit and manage those resources as well. See the (Mac) App Store.

Distributing a DPS app via iOS Enterprise Developer program?

Hello.
I have been asked to produce an app, to be created using the Adobe DPS (single edition), for distrubutions via Apple's iOS Enterprise Developer program (thus, the app will be released internally, to enterprise-provisioned iPads, not via the App Store). I have been unable to find any information if this is possible or not. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, but again, I'm hoping that someone knows the answer?

It requires an enterprise DPS account. It's a feature offered to DPS enterprise customers to sign an app with an enterprise certificate.

Here is the "License FAQ" for the Connector. The PDK might have a different license.

IOS Enterprise Program Invoice

We as a company subscribed to iOS Enterprise Developer program to enroll our iOS devices via MDM softwares. Enrollment to program has been completed and due to company policies i need to get invoice for this purchase. I can't find any invoice in developer.apple.com -> Member Center and when i try to look invoice over Apple Store it gives this error for 1 month. So even i can log in with my registered account to Apple Store all the links like Track an Order, View Order History just gives the same error shown below.

I submitted a Ticket to Apple and got an e-mail notificiation that my request has been redirected to related department i didnt get any response for 1 week.

DUNS number for iOS Enterprise Program

Hi all,
I'm from Vietnam. I am planning to make an app for my company with iOS Enterprise Program. However, I have problem with DUNS number. I googled and gave me somethings like it's free to get DUNS number within 30 days ( I'm not sure it's free or not in my country) or I need to pay $450.
I am confusing about it and how can I get DUNS number from DnB without using their service?

My ipad wont let me download certain apps because it needs ios 7 but when i check update it says there is none?

my ipad has IOS 5.1.1 version and i know there is newer update for them as when i go to download certain apps it wont let me because it needs IOS 7 but when i have plugged it into itunes it says no update needed?

From your post it appears that you are using an earlier iPad, which can only update to iOS 5. Some developers do offer compatible versions of their apps for people running older iOS versions, but ultimately it is up to that developer to make an older version. Check out the article for more information about installing the latest compatible version of an app on your iPad.

I had to change my settings back to factory settings. Now I cannot get games because it is telling me I need iOS 4.5. I went on my pc and into iTunes I can not find download for ios

To update to the current version (which is the only version 'signed' by Apple). connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy any purchases off the iPad to your computer via File > Transfer Purchases - you may also want to copy photos and any important documents off the iPad as well e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case. You can then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'.
You can then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button.

Why do I need iOS 5 to buy the iPhoto app???

You need iOS 5.1 because that is the latest iOS and Apple developed the iPhoto for iOS app to use this most recent version.
If you already have iOS 5.0 or 5.0.1 you can update on your iPhone by going to
Settings > General > Software Update
If you have an earlier version of iOS then you'll have to connect your iPhone to your computer and start iTunes. Select your iPhone in the left column and select General in the right column. Look down the screen to learn about updating the iOS.
The update is free but, especially if you have iOS version 4 something you may also have to update some of your apps. Pages for instance requires a free update to work under iOS 5.1.

If you have the iPad 1 it cannot be updated beyond iOS 5.1.1 so you as as up-to-date as you can be.
Check with the app developer to see if there are older versions of these apps which run on iOS 5.

You need an Intel Mac, at least OS X 10.6.8 (Lion if you intend full capability) and Xcode.

Let's start developing for iOS here in the company, and I would like to know what equipment and software needed to start.
I've been searching, and apparently I install an OS X Server in a virtual machine on the server to start the development. Is that possible? I mean, do not acquire any Apple machine, but only the software I need?

A first generation iPad cannot be updated beyond 5.1.1.
So you won't be able to install apps that require iOS 6 or beyond.
