IOS Image too big, need help

Folks,
I have dual Sup 720's that just came in from cisco. They have CATOS on them 8.4.(5). They have the base 524MB of DRAM and 64MB of flash(bootflash), no external flash card.
My question is that i want to download Natice IOS onto this switch (122.18SXE4). When i see the requirements it tells me that i need 128MB of flash, but when i download the file it is only 35 MB big.
Ca i run this image on my SUP with out upgrading the flash?
I will make sure that i grade this post.

If the image size is less than 64MB, then booting from bootflash is OK. Beginning with Sup720 12.2(18)SXE and later versions, most Native IOS images exceed the 64MB capacity of all internal partitions, including the sup-bootflash: or MSFC3 bootflash:
partitions, so for 12.2(18)SXE and later an external flash device of at least 128MB is required with Cisco part number MEM-C6K-CPTFL128M=. For multiple concurrent image support in this boot device, the external 256MB CompactFlash Cisco part number of MEM-C6K-CPTFL256M= is required to use as the external boot device.
Some feature sets of versions > 12.2(18)SXE result in a smaller file, but as long as it is less than 64MB, there is no problem with loading it onto onboard flash.

Hi Bill,
It sounds like your document has a lot of pages and/or images in it.
Instead of using the normal InDesign > Export command to create a PDF, you may be able to reduce the file size by printing to a PostScript file, then distilling it to PDF using Acrobat Distiller.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
It sounds like your device is in recovery mode. I understand you would like to back it up before updating to iOS 8.1 but cannot because you are in recovery mode. I would first suggest restarting your device to exit recovery mode.
If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If you put your device into recovery mode by mistake, restart it. Or you can wait 15 minutes and your device will exit recovery mode by itself.

I doubt it Doc Maik, but I am certainly happy to learn The image is this one (and a similar one). They would be beautiful portraits if not for the "extra mouth". The grey edge that I would like to remove is the excess of (grey) mouth that is actually my horse's chin, but that in the pictures looks like a wider, looping mouth. Practically, looking at the picture, the "extra mouth" to the left. What I would love it to be able correct that to look like a normal mouth, which means that half of the protruding edge should be removed. I am not sure I was able to explain myself, but here is one of the two pictures. I thank you for you kindness in being available to advise me.

Images too big to be fully viewed

I've got a children book, all pages are images, which are too big to be viewed in Adobe Digital Editions. I see that there's a part of the images I don't see at the bottom, but I can move down to it or resize the image to view it whole. Can anybody help me?

I have your solution: Dropbox. I created a shared folder on Dropbox, identified certain people to whom I granted access, and I uploaded a 350MB HD video I took with my iPhone 4. The video uploaded without being compressed, and is viewable in native resolution. Great solution!

What iOS are you currently running?
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Disk Image too big in iDVD 6.0.1

I created a 1 hour 27 minute movie in iMovie 6.0.1 and dragged it into a new iDVD 6.0.1 project. Used Travel widescreen theme and the default audio clip for that main menu. Removed the audio clips from the chapter menus. Created a disk image: 4.29GB, which seems big for an hour and a half movie...
Then I noticed a typo. So I deleted the movie from iDVD and dragged my modified iMovie in. Rebuilt the iDVD menus. This time I added a 3 minute AIFF piece of music instead of the default on the main menu. Created a disk image: 4.41GB. Toast Titanium 7.0.2 wouldn't let me burn the disk image to DVD-R unless I used their built-in compression feature; which I did. Looks virtually the same as my original DVD.
I looked at the sizes of VOBs in both images. The main menu VOB (use MPEG Streamclip to find it) was 524.3MB in the disk image that would fit on a SL DVD-R. The one that didn't fit was 914MB. I have to assume that's because of the length of the music on that main menu.
I then edited my 3 minute music to 30 seconds and used that clip. Deleted encoded assets, and re-encoded. That disk image is 4.26GB and squeaks on a SL DVD-R without using Toast compression.
With a movie running only 1 hour and 27 minutes, this "too big" should NOT be an issue.

AplleCare did not provide a solution.
I think I have some leads on how to fix it, but no clear solution yet.

Text/icons/window/ALL too big! Help please

I'm brand new to the world of mac and have little experience troubleshooting. For whatever reason, only God knows, all that i view on this screen is too big. i tried changing the resolution, restarting, EVERYTHING in system utilities, command + scroll (for zoom) and nothing seems to work.
Any help would be great!

Thanks Poikkeus but it doesn't seem to be a resolution issue. I've tried all options in res and nothing seemed to work. The dock size hasn't changed, but all else is enlarged. The toolbar text, the windows when I open them. In fact, they're so big that I can't see all the information on a window when it's open.
Any other ideas?

Iphone 3Gs won't sync music, photo's etc after updating to iOS 5.1. Need help!

I recently updated my iOS on my Iphone 3Gs and it won't sync any of my music or photo's. I'm extremely frustrated and annoyed that I can't put any of my music or photo's onto my Iphone as the new iOS (5.1) won't sync.
I've done everything I can think of. I've done everything people have said that would work for them from the internet and nothing has worked. I need help!

Lost my iPhone 6 Plus images and I need help getting them back.

I may just have to go to the apple store, but I am going to see if anyone out here can help me out.
Oct 31st I transferred my SIM from my iPhone 5S to a new iPhone 6 Plus. On December 7th(ish) my new iPhone decided that it would no longer focus on anything that was more than one foot away.
I was hoping that it would fix itself but it never did. So I went to the Apple Forums and there were some people suggested that wiping out the phone and restoring the system would help.
Before I wiped out my phone I did a back up. After the phone restored all the images and information came back. The camera started working for a couple clicks then stopped. I wiped out my phone three maybe four more times and it each time the images came back I even wiped out and set it up as a new iPhone and wiped back out and restored with my iCloud and the image still came up!!! ... but the focusing would not work for more than a couple of clicks.
On December 12 I took it into the iPhone store they said I'd needed a replacement one. Before we removed the "find my phone" and wiped out the device we made sure the phone was backed up. Because I had over 5,500 images on my phone I didn't wait around the store to make sure they all popped up and went home.
When I got home the phone only showed the 4,200 images I had taken with my iPhone 5S up to October 31st!!! However, under my settings my replacement iPhone 6 Plus shows 5,500 images but I cannot locate them.
The other thing that is odd is that all my "shared images" from October 31st to December 12th that I took with my 6 Plus are still showing up as well as the ones that I sent via which leads me to think that they are lost out in the iCloud Universe somewhere.
When logged on to my iCloud.com account it would only allow me to see what is on my current iPhone 6 Plus which includes the images before October 31st and the images I have taken since the iPhone 6 Plus. I cant see any of the images that are on my iPad that are set up under the same account, but it let's me see the icon for the iPad and it also shows me the icon for my other 6 Plus. However, the iCloud website will not allow me to click on the two icons and look at the images.
I believe that after 30 days from December 12th those images will probably by default be deleted from the iCloud system and I want to make sure that I get them back before they do.
I understand that apple changed the layout of the images and I did go and look at all my albums... so this not the case.
I can see my back up from Dec. 9 and Dec 12th and have tried to do the restore on this phone the text and the contacts pull up but the images do not.
Someone please help me out. I have all the images from our recent Disney World Vacation in there and I would really like to have them back.

I have iPhone, iPad and ipad2, and I'm thinking of upgrading them to iOS 4.3.5. First of all I need to upgrade my iTunes, then I can upgrade the 3 of them.
My question is, since iOS 4.3.5 is a big file, can I download once and install it on the 3 items, since I have a limited Internet quota.

No, they are different downloads (iPad and iPad 2 iOS downloads are different as well).

dear developers,
after making a thorough look over diffrent forums and now got a idea to upload an image using URLConnection.
the idea is,
1) establish a URLConnection between an applet and servlet
2)send the actual image(confused) or path of image at user's local drive to servlet using post method.
3) use servlet to upload image using Image's path or actual Image to server's hard drive from inputstream.
now at one poing i got confused, that whether path of image should be sent to servlet or actual image after encoding it via this communication to further uploading process?
if at any poing you figure out any unsuited way then let me know also

When I insert a still image and play it, the image is zoomed in about 400%, what am I doing wrong?

OK so your AVCHD media is either 1920x1080 or 1280x720. Whichever it is, if you need to move on the image, make the still image twice that horizontal resolution, so for 1280 make it 2560. If you don't need to move on it make it 1920x1080 or 1820x720 depending on your video format.

I import an XML file who can contain images.
The problem is when an image is too long (and can't be contain in the textframe), it doesn't appear.
I would like to resize it, but when I do imageTooLong.geometricBounds, I have an error. Which is not surprising.
So, how can I resize imageTooLong?
